Description from the owner
This is a new two double bedroom, self catering guest house close to St Johns, and Dickinson Bay in the Friars Hill residential area of Antigua.
The house sleeps 4 people and is air conditioned with cable tv, washing machine, stove, fridge, internet & telephone.
Runaway Bay, Dickinson bay, Cedal Hill Golf course, Sandals and other beach side resorts are just a few minutes down the road. Buses to town do run on the main road, which is a short 5minute walk from the house, but a hire car is recommended.

Nice little house far enough out of the city to be relaxing, close enough that its easy to get there.
It was very clean. The kitchen had all the appliances you might want while on vacation, and enough utensils to use them.
The owners pay attention to detail, from the good toilet paper to the stash of books available in case theres a rainy day.
I would stay there again if I went back to antigua. -

Very clean and well maintained.
Great having landlord next door if assistance is required (propane was used up during a meal and they changed it immediately).
Very friendly and hospitable to deal with. Good location. Easy access to grocery stores and beaches. Second time staying here and would do so again. Highly recommend.

Pretty villa set in pretty gardens. Clean, tidy and secure. Ideally situated. Owner's family living close by were friendly, helpful but not intrusive.
We had a super time and would definitely reccommend this villa to family and friends. A rare find indeed - extremely good value for the money.
Would require a hire car to explore the island, shopping and beach. Or if preferred plenty of taxis and a public bus service. Many restaurants close by, one beautiful restaurant within walking distance, 5 mins away. -

This property is one of the cheapest available on the island and is excellent value for money.
It is in excellent condition, being recently built, and is nicely finished off internally.
The outside is more attractive than current photos show as a variety of plants have now been put in and will enhance the property as they mature.
Everything was very clean.
The verandah is spacious and there is a drying area out the back.
The couple who live next door are, as others have said, welcoming and friendly. The villa is well situated for a number of beaches, bars and restaurants, St. John's, a coffee shop (at Jasmine Court) and supermarkets.
We hired a car, which made trips to the other side of the island easily manageable. -

Myself my husband and 2 children aged 12 yrs and 1 yr stayed at Friars Hill Oct 2010
The apartment was spotlesss, comfortable and had everything that you need, including a washing machine.
The bedrooms are doubles and huge wardrobes and a/c.
The island itself is georgeous and the beaches amazing, Long island was a favourite of ours as with children gentle waters and shade! the bar there sells great cocktails!
I would also recommend the surf n turf at the waterfront which is near Sandals.
We hired a car and drove around the Island which is a must and Shirley Heights is great!
All in all we had a fantastic holiday and will be back again very soon, I would recommend this accomodation above any other!
