Description
The Cottage is the smaller of two houses at Quinta das Colmeias, with 3 bedrooms, a dinning room and sitting room. A typical patio outside is fantastic for BBQs and also has a great view over the fields onto the mountains beyond.
Both houses are set in the private 10 hectare estate and share the pool. Guests are free to walk in the organic farm as well as order fresh produce.
Quinta das Colmeias is only a few minutes drive from Santo da Serra Golf and Quinta Sao Jorge horse ridding center as well as being 15 minutes drive from Santa Cruz and Machico where you can go swimming in the sea. Close by are you will find some great walking, on the levadas and tracks amid beautiful unspoilt nature.

- Walking and trekking along the famous "levadas" - water ways which cross the island, some of which start near Quinta das Colmeias
