Villa Punta Ruzmarin is a beautiful, traditional Mediterranean villa situated right on the edge of the Adriatic Sea, on the Eastern side of the beautiful island of Brac. This privately owned villa is built to suit the best of tastes, fully adorned in limestone from the Island of Brac - the same stone that was used to build the White House and the historic Diokletian's Palace in the city of Split, along with many other monumental buildings along the Dalmatian Coast. About Brac
The largest of the central Dalmatian islands, Brac offers a rich cultural and historic heritage as well as beautiful beaches and bays, with delicious and fresh gastronomy and wine. Chief occupations on the island are farming, olive and wine production, fishing and tourism. The nearest fishing village is Sumartin, just a five minute drive from the property, with a bakery, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, and tourist office. There is also a ferry port in Sumartin with connections throughout the day to the city of Makarska, just 45 minute ferry ride. Makarska is a city rich with Mediterranean architecture, designer shops, and fine restaurants. The town of Selca is also a five minute drive from the Villa, also with beautiful architecture, small shops, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and an Internet cafe. It is also home to the first monument dedicated to the Russian writer, Tolstory, dating back to 1911. You can find local produce and fish every morning at the Selca and Sumartin Farmers' Markets.
20km away, about a 20 minute drive, is the quaint town of Bol, with the famous Golden Horn (Zlatni Rat) beach, perfect for a day or evening walk. The lime stone covered walking area just a 5 minute walk from the downtown is filled with souvenir stands and shops, cocktail bars, cafes, restaurants, and spas. The Golden Horn beach offers a multitude of water sports, including boat rentals, windsurfing, jet skiing, and more.
Some other notable towns on the island include Pucisca, the hometown of many stone masons, where you can find unique stone masterpieces to bring back home as a souvenir. Milna, situated on the Western side of the island is a popular locations for yachts due to its conveniently situated marina.
In the Summer season it is common to see local gallery art shows, traditional "Klape" musicians, concerts, and local festivals to be enjoyed by all ages throughout the island. The Croatia Rediviva, a poetry festival is organized every year in the town of Selca in July, just after the annual town festival July 16th. Each town has its own celebration and each features local entertainment and cuisine, an old Dalmatian tradition where each town celebrates its day.
Connections are multiple from the Island of Brac. Ferries are available 20x per day to the mainland and the island of Hvar.
A 45 minute drive to the city of Supetar will connect you to the city of Split, which is the main Dalmatian seaport for many of the Dalmatian Islands and Italy (Ancona).

This was one of most memorable vacations of my life and every member of our large group agreed. First of all, the location of the house is incredible. Most of our days were spent lazing in the sun on our own private beach. Swimming back and forth across the bay that was shared by other relaxed holiday makers. The water is still, warm and crystal clear. Second, the house is large, spacious with comfortable beds for each member of our group and cooking facilities for when we were inclined. With a great cafe just opened down the road and a fantastic seafood restaurant nearby, we didn't really feel the need.
Dinko and Maree, also proved to be fantastic hosts throughout. They were extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. All of the above made for a truly fantastic stay. -

If you like your own space which contains the clearest seawater you have ever seen stay at the Villa Punta Ruzmarin. Dinko and Meri are wonderful hosts and ensured that our family reunion was relaxing and that we had everything we needed including delicious homemade strudel! The swimming is superb and the view lovely. The villa is very well equipped and comfortable with air conditioning. The seafood restaurant Bilin within walking distance is excellent. We also had very good meals at the eco-agriculturo on the road to Supetar which promotes local fresh produce and traditional cooking. The island has plenty of places of interest and some lovely beaches. A trip on the ferry to Split was a highlight. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

This year we were on vacation at island Bra? in Villa Punta Ruzmarin.
Here is all very nice - the location is fantastic, the village is quiet, people are friendly, the beaches are clean of course the sea also. We were diving a lot- and we found a beautiful shell and seahorse.
They have private beach. If you go a little away from the private beach (50-100 meters), you can bi alone on the beach.
This is a really great place for rest and relaxation, try it-you will not regret.
We can't wait to return soon.

If you want a summer vacation with a 5star sea side house, private beach and friendly owners you must see this location.In a group there was 6 of us and we will all remember this vacations as one of the best!
House is super with all what you need!They even did not forget for mosquito killers in each room.
Sea is clear like a diamond! We have also caught octopus and many fishes!(Largest was fish snake named Ugor...Size almoust 1meter.
We already decidet that next summer we will stay in this house 14day because our 7day this year in this seaside haven is not enouh. -

My wife and I stayed in the Villa Punta Ruzmarin upstairs suite in the summer of 2005 just after an early renovation. -The location was fantastic (on the water with a semi-private beach, but too far from the town and local restaurants).
-The color of the adriatic doesn't look any bluer than when looking at it from the Ruzmarin balcony.
-The amenities are great, and that was before the latest renovation.
My wife and I can't wait to return! -

Upon arriving at Villa Punta Ruzmarin, my traveling companions & I were greeted warmly. Every effort was made to ensure that all of our needs were met, and that we were enjoying our stay.
The property is clean & extremely well kept, with. Plenty of parking available. It's right on the shoreline, so it's only a few steps to the beach. Which is pristine and quiet, with plenty of room for sunbathing or to have a small picnic. The nearby town has a visitors center, grocery store, numerous restaurants, and offered us many things to see and do during our stay on Brac.
We absolutely loved Villa Punta Ruzmarin, would definitely recommend staying here. -

Island of Brac is definitely a must see along the Croatian coast. What better place to stay than Villa Punta - Ruzmarin. This property is beach front with easy beach access to some of the cleanes sea water in the world! You will enjoy nice views from your terrace when staying here. The owners are very generous and nice people. The entire property is extremely well maintained and is spottless. It comes with all amenities needed for a condo style beach vacation. What I loved a lot was having dinner on a terrace with ocean view.
The beach is shared by local families and that adds a unique and special touch to staying here. That being said it is also a very private beach with high chance of maybe just you and 4-5 other people being there at same time.
Having a car on an island definitely helps and most people in Europe trave via one but this is not essential. Locals are very friendly and I have gotten rides from complete strangers. Remember this is a small community and everybody knows everybody.
Great place to relax and recharge in nature! This place is built from traditional Brac Stone which is world famous and parts of White House in Washington D.C. is made from same material -

High standard house on coast with own large garden and swimming beach, located 2 km away from small town. Unlikely clean sea, absolutely sweet air. Isle Brac have a lot of historicaly interesting places from Greek - Roman empire period. Higly recommaning to visit a top ov Vidova mountain with extraordinary view on islands of the east adriatic. Domestic people are kindly and most of them speak english language.

My family and I had a great time during our stay at Villa Puna Ruzmarin last summer. It was the perfect location for us, as we had access to the beach all day long. It is in a calm bay, so it was always perfect for swimming. We could leave our stuff at the beach, and come and go as we wished, since it was steps away. The owners were hospitable, friendly, and so welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay there and I will definitely be coming back with my family again.
Our favorite part was coming back from the beach in the early evening and making dinner for my family to enjoy on the terrace. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and very nicely decorated - very comfortable for everyone.
Overall, our stay was amazing. We loved that it was private, quiet, yet close enough to grocery and restaurants, making it very convenient. The environment is welcoming and the kids loved to snorkel right in front of the house, or just swim across the bay.
It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the sun, and the sea!
