“A great holiday apartment.” We stayed for 9 nights and had a wonderful holiday. The apartment was very clean and well presented with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were amazing. Marija and Teo were very helpful and friendly hosts and offered information on were to visit and were to eat. Teo picked us up from the centre on arrival and took us back on our last day which was a great help with our luggage. Marija gave us a warm welcome and the homemade orange marmalade was delicious. Our tickets for the catamaran were sorted out for us so we didn't have to get up extra early and queue for them the day before departure. The apartment was in a good location being very close to the sea and we enjoyed the walk into the town along the coastal path. There was a small supermarket nearby which was handy but there was greater choice in the town along with market stalls selling fresh fruit and veg. We had a great holiday and enjoyed our stay at apartment Ela Marija and would be very happy to visit again.

“Lovely apartment, good location, excellent hosts” Spent week on lovely Hvar and thoroughly enjoyed this very well-kept apartment. Spectacular views from top floor apartment, location is convenient to Hvar Town without being in the middle of the hubbub. Nada and anton, our hosts, deserve special mention. Friendly and helpful, they provided everything from taxis to fuel for the available outdoor wood-burning grill. Excellent value overall.

“relaxation and enjoyment” Impressive place. At several places it still can be seen remains of Greek and Roman architecture. We enjoyed the accommodation in the heart of the oldest city in Croatia. Walking, beautiful beaches, beautiful places around the island, food and drink, good reception, friendly people. Yeah, that's it. We recommend.

A good place to feel at home with a great view

It began with a very friendly welcome. In the apartment we found a 'warm' furnishing and a perfect technical equipment. The balcony is not too big, but the view over the harbour and the town of Hvar is really great. A good place to sit, to relax and to look whats going on in the harbour. Lovely hosts, lovely villa, great location

We stayed here for 5 nights. We were met at the Hvar port by Ela Marija's brother and driven to the apartment (and driven back at the end of our stay), which was very kind. They were welcoming and friendly, happy to help with our queries about Hvar, gave us lots of information, but also gave us our privacy too. The villa itself is in a great location and was very clean and tidy. Views are great and it was plenty of space for two people. Well equipped kitchen. We also got free wifi. 10/15min walk to Hvar centre, and minutes from the beach. Only issue (sometimes) was noise at night, but that is clearly not the fault of the hosts. HVAR MOOD HOUSE - HVAR EXCLUSIVE SEA SUN & STARS APARTMENT
An excellent apartment with an excellent view!

We were 4 people staying at Hvar Exclusive Sea, Sun & Stars apartment for a week in September 2013. The apartment was perfectly placed, next to the hotel amfora. The beach could easily be reached within 5 min walking distance and Hvar town is only 10-12 min walk away! When we needed groceries the shop was only 2 min away on foot. The apartment it self had everything we needed! It was spacious with 3 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms, a large kitchen with all utensils, a large living room and even a washroom with a washing machine. But what we loved the most with this apartment was the large terrace with the most amazing view! We loved sitting out on the terrace, having our breakfast in the morning, or having a drink in the evening! Slavcko was very helpful and friendly, before and during our stay. Prior to our stay he helped us with directions and answered all our questions. We all came to Hvar for our friends wedding and we had the most amazing experience there! Staying at Slavko´s apartment made our stay even better. Slavko as a host was very relaxed, nothing was a hassle; this letting us relax, enjoying the festivities being a part of the weeding delegation! Many thanks! Beautiful Apartment

We spent a week in this beautiful apartment situated only minutes from the sea. We arrived on the ferry from Split and was met by Ana the apartment manager. We were then taken by taxi to the Holiday House where we were treated to champagne as a welcome drink. Ana them introduced us to all the amenities in the accommodation. It had just about everything you could possibly want, 2 lovely bathrooms, dishwasher, washing machine and a super bean to cup coffee machine along with a fridge full of essential provisions like milk, fruit juice and of course beer. What a treat. The bedrooms were big and comfortable, the towels were changed every other day and Ana was there whenever we needed her. Its situated in a very quiet residential area and although we had the windows open at night we didn't hear a thing despite it being near to the late night bars. All the rooms are air conditioned which is a real bonus. Its also only 10 minute walk to the Amfora Hotel and you can pay daily to use their sun loungers and swimming pool if needs be. We went down town to eat every night, which is approx. a lovely 10 minute stroll along the coast, and got a taxi back from the bus station for just 100 kuna. We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday House and can't wait to visit again some day soon. Hvar is the most beautiful island, the locals were all welcoming and the food and local wine really delicious. All in all we can't recommend the Holiday House highly enough, it really is self catering at its very best. The one thing I would say, and this is only my opinion, I don't think the Holiday House is suitable for children as it has internal glass doors and is accessed via steps inside and out. I would also say that it may be an issue for anyone who is mobility impaired. … see more

Yon won't stay anywhere better..

We had a magical time in Stari Grad - not just because of its natural beauty, great restaurants, location etc but our stay with Davorka & Nened was EXACTLY what we wanted. 5 Stars.cannot recomend enough, wonderful hosts, a great apartment with everything you need..home from home. We extended our stay before we arrived, as knew it'd be a great base, and we were so right. . Travelling with a 3 year old was very easy, especially as we were met and taken to the ferry terminal, which was very kind of them. Apartment is 5 mins walk to the beach and town. We didn't want to leave Stari Grad, and look forward to going back next year. … see more
