Apartment Taurus is situated in the center of Hvar, near hotel Riva. It is oriented to the west with an exceptional view of Pakleni islands and the port of Hvar which is just a minute walk away.

All of the most popular tourist locations ( like restaurants,cocktail bars, beaches, historical locations..) are within 50-100 m range.

Apartment Taurus (65 m2), the newly renovated, fully furnished apartment ( air-conditionong,satelite TV, washing machine and dish washer), which consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room which provides a posibility extra two people.

With balcony (approx.6 m2) offers a panoramic view of the greater part of the old town of Hvar and the island archipelago.

The apartment in Hvar was very comfortable, and included a $1,000,000 view of the harbor. The apartment is very clean, and looks like the posted photos. The hosts were friendly, and provided good information about the town and info on a great excursion to the caves. Great stay!

“A good place to feel at home with a great view”

It began with a very friendly welcome. In the apartment we found a 'warm' furnishing and a perfect technical equipment. The balcony is not too big, but the view over the harbour and the town of Hvar is really great. A good place to sit, to relax and to look whats going on in the harbour. Whenever we come to Hvar again, we will try to rent the Taurus-Apartment of Mirka Rosso.

We've been frequent visitors to Hvar for seven years and when possible stay in one of Mirka Rosso's two apartments. We couldn't believe our good fortune when we first viewed the apartment. The views from the balcony are absolutely fantastic. The central location in the old town is full of character. The apartments are modern, spacious and exceptionally well appointed. They are fastidiously well cleaned. Mirka and Josko are lovely welcoming hosts. Most recently we stayed in late October when we normally visit in July/August. Hvar was more in its natural state without so many tourists and a perfect temperature. October in Hvar is to be thoroughly recommended. These apartments are simply the best in Hvar.

We chose apartment Taurus based on it's location. Also, the pictures posted on the site are very accurate. The two-bedroom apartment is very large, clean, and updated with modern amenities. It also has a small balcony overlooking the town and harbor. If you are taking a ferry from Split, the steps that lead up to the apartment will be right in front of you as you get off the ferry. I gave the location 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is quite a hike up to the apartment - over 100 steps! Luckily, the owner's husband was kind enough to meet us at the port and help us with our luggage - we had two large suitcases. All restaurants, shops, and markets are within walking distance from the apartment. Communicating with Mirka was also easy. Prior to the trip we emailed back and forth with various questions and she was quick to reply. We had a cell phone with us as well during the trip and she was prompt to reply to our text messages. Once you're there, they live in a completely separate apartment just a few steps down so you can ask them any questions. It was a great pleasure to rent this apartment from this couple. As far as the apartment itself, it was fairly large for just the two of us. The price was great for a two-bedroom in the off-season. All linens and towels were clean and all cooking and dining essentials were ready to be used. The bathroom is pretty large compared to other apartments we've stayed at in Croatia. Overall, the apartment was very comfortable and I would recommend this place to anyone who is willing to climb up those steps.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had virtually everything we could possibly need. It was like a home from home. Actually it was cleaner and probably better equipped!! Mirka and Josko were perfect hosts. They were there when we needed anything especially information about restaurants etc and Mirka's apple cake is to die for. The view from our balcony was absolutely spectacular and the sunsets were amazing. Just imagine sitting on the balcony at night with a glass of wine watching the sun go down which is what we did quite a lot of the time. However, just remember there are about 100 steps from the port to the apartment but it is worth it for the spectacular views.

We have been to Hvar several times now and this is certainly one of our favourite accommodations. Impeccably clean throughout and very well appointed. The location is simply perfect: barely a 2 minute walk down to the riva (waterfront/harbour), 3-4 minute walk to the town's main square, and high enough to provide a spectacular view of the sea/islands/town. Despite its excellent proximity to the town, we didn't find the apartment to be noisy at all. Mirka and her family were such terrific hosts and were always available to answer any questions. We will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at apartment Tauras in Hvar with a group of 5 friends. Mirka greeted us at the port and was very welcoming and helpful throughout our time in Hvar. The apartment was very clean and looked just like it did on the website. However, the balcony was bigger than the picture which was an added bonus. The view was amazing, it was right over the port and it also sees the sunset every night which is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends who want to be in a central location for good value.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in august. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. It really is a home away from home. We felt so welcomed by Mirka and she really went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The place was so clean and tidy and the view from the balcony takes your breath away. The apartment is in a fantastic location, so close to the centre of Hvar, just a few steps away. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I am sure we will be back. I'd also like to mention that we had friends and family stay with us and they loved it! We were all sad to leave but have wonderful memories of Hvar to keep forever.

This apartment really was everything and more we could have asked for. I arrived with 3 friends, and Mirka met us at the station and walked us to the apartment. Throughout our stay Mirka was very helpful and friendly, really making sure we were comfortable. The location is beautiful, there are quite some stairs to get up there however it is very worth it. You can see the beautiful sunset from the balcony every night. As for inside the apartment, it is very spacious and clean. There is enough room for your clothes, and the shower has very good water pressure (which isn't always common). We would definitely return to the apartment, and advise it to anyone!
