The villa is exactly same with the photos shown. Clean and comfortable.
The drivers are very good in manners and helpful in arranging our schedule.
Mr Gusti is friendly and helpful in arranging the trip for us. And recommended some nice places for us to dine with. And he will fulfill our request such as bring us to the cheaper local market to hunt for local foods and souvenirs.
The free car service is just so convenient for us to travel around Bali. And the airport transfer is excellent even our flight has delayed for an hour. But Mr Gusti is just so nice and friendly to us.
We have a pleasant stay wif VCT. Highly recommended VCT.
Things to be improved are:
Wifi coverage is kinda slow and weak.
Breakfast can be more variety.
Overall:
Pleasant, comfy and convenience~!! Thumbs up*

Having Gusti on hand to drive us wherever we wanted to go and at any time I may add, made the holiday great!

We booked the villa for 4 nights, as it was a little out of the heart of town and we were travelling with a young family and it was their first time to Bali.
As soon as we walked in we were very pleased... the pool was fantastic, as it was the centre piece. The two large rooms were brilliant, equipped with missie nets, TV, AC and then walk through to the large semi out door bathroom, which was beautiful.
The staff were absolutely wonderful, they were amazing with the two young children we were travellilng with. They even went to the effort of delivering my swimwear to Legian, after I accidently left them there, very thoughtful of them.
The location was a bit out of the way, nothing much within a 5 min walk, but we wanted something further out but was great to have a driver, and Gusti was great.
There were only a few minor things that we would have changed
- water pressure wasn't great in showers and only got hot water on the first day.
- Use alot of missie spray and take missie coils
all in all we all had a wonderful stay, thank you to all the staff.

Gusti, Syl & Yogi made this visit one to remember. Nothing was any trouble from airport pick-up to recommending activity operators, great breakfasts and local advise. Villa was comfortable although a little out of town. This however worked well for us given Gusti's ever willingness to take us wherever. He also helped with a little planning a day or so in advance to make sure we didn't miss anything

The villa itself was beautiful, very clean and set up wonderfully! If your looking for somewhere were everything is easy access then this is not your place! With saying this we did have a wonderful time! The only down side to this place is the fact that when it reached 10pm every night there was a machine sound making it hard to sleep a lot of nights! Even with our lack of sleep we had an amazing time and our drive gusti took us to some amazing places for dinner!! Can't wait to come back to Bali again!!

We just got back from 7 days - a girls week away. There were 5 of us coming in on three different flights over two days. The second day when the last two girls were arriving they were greeted by Gusti with a complaint that he had been waiting a long time for them - like they have any control over the airlines! We were supposed to have Gusti for 10 hours per day but he was constantly rolling his eyes when we made a request to go anywhere, trying to talk us out of it and asking "were we going home now". The most we had hom was one day for about 8 hours - the rest of the time he would be lucky to do 3-5 hours a day. He was supossed to bring tow of the girls back into Seminyak one day and when they asked if he was ready they were informed he was off having a haircut and would be back in 30 minutes, He knew that they wanted hom to drive them back at that time! He was supposed to meet us after white water rafting with our clean clothes which we had provided for him. When I called him he told me to put the driver on that had taken us to the rafting. The other driver informed me that he would be meeting us at the bypass - about 30 min away. We were all wet and very cold and subsequently two of our group got bad colds. I told him that we were very upset and he was attentive for the rest of that day but the next day it went back to the usual behaviour.
There were two other staff to clean and provide breakfast. We were only offered eggs for breakfast. I requested pancakes and from day 3 these were cooked for us. The kitchen was quite dirty and when we used knives from the knife block they were filthy. Towels were forgotten to be left in bathrooms on some days and we had to find them ourselves. After I spoke to them about this it was rectified quickly. The bathroom in the small room left a lot to be desired - quite dirty - couldn't close the door - no drainage that we could see. We had a wonderful holiday however these things certainly spoilt the week. I have always had amazing service in Bali and this was very out of character, We were very loathe to tip at the end of the week - we did, but begrudgingly. I really don't like putting negative reviewson trip advisor however I feel this need to be said. Hopefully it will help the staff to make future guests' stays more enjoyable. We were very happy with our late checkout and the fresh towels for our shower before we left. Still haven't seen our complimentary massage - never offered to us and we only got the laundry voucher because I asked!Response from adenova - 06/20/2012

Fabulous holiday , from the moment we were met at the airport untill we were dropped back 12 days later . Gusti (the driver) was a great help and had organised several day trips to show us the best of Bali.
The staff at the villa were so friendly. Every morning met with a "goood mooorrning" made us smile every time. The food was great and on several occassions when we didnt feel like going out , either Gusti organised delivery from local restaurants or Wa , the assistant butler went on his bike to get us takeaways. We all miss the 3 boys so much already, such friendly beautiful people !!! The villa itself is beautiful !!! The 2 main bedrooms are amazing (and the open air bathrooms unbelievale !!) The 3rd bedroom is still great , but no open air bathroom. The photos that are posted by the villa that you see before you book are absolutely accurate. It really is an unbelievable holiday experience. We are all so missing the staff and cant wait to come back - I have already convinced friends to book soon. Brilliant holiday , thank you so much -

The staff Sil(chief/butler)Darwin( assistant chief/butler)Gusti(driver) and Wa service manager true and trusted persons that I cannot recommend highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble with my large family of 7. The service was personable and 5 star quality. We really felt we made friends for life and would love to return if it was only to see the staff. Truly trust worthy peolpe. My husband and I left a large sum of money on an unmade bed to return to the villa with it all there. It was within first day of trip and it really cemented the trust we could have in the staff. I miss the constant attentive care of Sil and Darwin who kept the villa immaculant and tidied after my messy teenagers.Gusti our driver was fantasitc in places he could recommend and the place he showed us.The postion of the villa is not in the hub but it was never any trouble to be dropped up by staff a 5-10 minute to seminyak heart. You can easily walk to Sunset road if you so chose but our driver Gustic would give 100% service and want to drive us.Gusti was an extremely safe and efficent driver whom we totally trusted with the crazy traffic. He can master the van within a centimetre of anything.The Villa itself is fine. The third bedroom definately does not have the standard of the other two larger rooms. The villa needs a few minor repairs which I will notify owner directly recommendations but overall very comfortable. Beds still too firm for our liking but we are used to pillow tops and find asia dont really cater for these at this level of standard. Mozzies were a problem but we bought spray and coils for outdoor bathrooms which did the trick and used the coils in outside living area. The electric fly squatter used by staff were amusing to say the least and rather ineffective, but great entertainment. One down side was the internet connection didnt work for a few days which was hard for one family member that does university online.I sit here back home in australia missing the hospitality of Sil and Darwin as I make my own tea. The smiling friendliness of Wa each day and the happy smiling Gusti asking where mam would like to shop today.I would definately recommend this villa especially for the service from the staff. They really are the best persons and a credit to the Villa in having the staff .Our whole family are missing them and looking forward to being able to return

My friends and I stayed at Villa Cantik for three nights on a girls weekend away.
From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. The staff are lovley and nothing is too much trouble. We liked to sleep late and our breakfast was cooked to order no mater how late in the day it was! The location is tucked away but with a driver and car at your disposal it is not a problem at all. In fact it was nice to be away from the craziness. The only negative is the third bedroom. It is not as well appointed or as luxuriuos as the other two. If you are renting as I two bedroom it would be perfect. -

Wonderful friendly staff who shared the beauty and warmth of Bali and showed us the treasures of the island.

Villa was private and safe with the charm of a home.
Close enough to the busy shopping and restaurant precinct but quiet for some relaxing reading by the pool

service par excellence from pick up at airport to drop off back at the airport :) Wa, Gusti and Darrin all typify what Balinese service is all about. Our first time to Bali with the 2 kids and the grandparents in tow, we were pleasantly surprised at the very quiet and private villa. Granted it was set away in a quiet residential neighbourhood, nothing was too far away what with Gusti and the ubiquitous Toyota avanza always there to ferry us around.
Sure Bali has its mosquitoes and it gets dark a bit earlier than where we are from, but to us, great service was what impressed us most. A bit on the lodging .. lovely rooms, a bit dark for us for reading well at night, the hot water in the bathroom of the smallest bdrm needed more water pressure. the lounge area was perfect and the pool was Cold!
the booking process was easy and email correspondence with adenova was easy and very quick! payment by paypal was a cinch.

My Mum, sisters and I staeyd at the Villa Cantik for a short break and have had a wonderful time, we felt well looked after, safe and very welcome the whole duration of our stay.
The villa is in a residential area which was no bother to us as we had the wonderful Gushti to drive us anywhere we needed to go, but given that the villa has a pool, meal service, tv, dvd player, stereo, in house massage and spa treatments and laundry service we did not feel we had to go too far at all.
It is a neat and clean villa with all of the services extended at a hotel with the added benefit of absolute privacy!
Would stay at the villa again and recommend to friends wanting a very low key relaxing break! -

If you're looking for some timeout, this is the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind. From the moment we were collected from the airport, the villa staff attended to our every need. Rooms were clean and comfortable, Lounge area had TV, hi-fi plus ipod dock. Villa rooms overlooking private pool so we could take a dip whenever. Great relaxing holiday...would go back in a heartbeat!

Just a few suggestions:
1) the standing fan needs a change to a more powerful one.
2) One of the tree branches in the master bedroom's(nearest to the main entrance) bathroom is growing out where the showerhead is located. So when one is showering, the tree branch will be showered as well. Perhaps the tree needs some grooming.
3) Hair dryers should be changed to more powerful ones.

Although the actual villa was satisfactory, we had a number of problems related to staff. During our 2 week stay only the driver Gusti remained constant. Gusti was excellent, friendly and helpful and was a highlight of our stay. All other staff at the villa on arrival left within the 2 weeks and were replaced with less capable staff. The new staff seemed to have limited or no hospitality experience, did not seem to know how to cook, change linen, do rooms or communicate with us. We had to ask a number of times for towels etc to be put in the rooms, beds to be made etc.
The villa had nice rooms and nice pool but some parts were a bit 'tired' and the showers were very mouldy and just needed the application of a bit of bleach or chlorine to make a big difference.Response from adenova - 10/13/2010

can not rate the villa and staff highly enough. beautiful villa in a great location to experience a true local bali holiday. all the facillities avaliable, the breakfasts delicious, and the villa staff tried their utmost to accomodate our familys needs and requests. their pleasant natures and local knowledge made our holiday the most rewarding and relaxed experience. We were with 6 people and there was enough accomodation for all of us. The villa's personal butler made us feel welcome and at home. We also had a sweet driver which was included in the package.
The swimming pool was right outside our rooms so in the mornings we could wake up with a warm swim.
A water dispenser was at our disposal so we didn't have to buy bottled water.
Definitely reccomendable for families with kids or a group of friends.
Friendly service and a great place to stay!

The villa is beautiful and will provide the ultimate peaceful experience within its four walls. The highlight of the villa was the pool, which was ultimate luxury and which was high comfort - we could just jump in at any time of the day (or night) to combat the heat and stickiness of the tropical air (: Also, the bedrooms and bathrooms were complete comfort and luxury (though a minor problem with water heater), and the living room, kitchen and generally the whole villa in high standard of upkeep and maintenance - down to the smallest details of the manicured grass (: The manager, driver and housekeeper were friendly and hospitable, and the welcome fruits, drinks and complimentary massage were definitely welcome.
However, we had a big problem with currency used to pay for the villa (so beware if you are renting this villa, and see below for the tip on how to do this to avoid unpleasantness).Response from adenova - 06/03/2010

I did quite a lot of research on Seminyak villas and this gives the best rate for a 3-bedroom villa. Adenova was very prompt in her reply to my email enquiries. The location is in the residential area which is where we wanted, to experience living in their residential area rather than in the city. We spent 5 days/4 nights. Everything is very clean and modern looking, yet there is a touch of Balinese feel. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Tony, the villa caretaker looks after the villa perfectly. Catur, the villa manager is fantastic in every way. Driving us around (even to Ubud, which is a 1.5hr drive), picking us up, explaining on Bali cultures, giving advices, helping to arrange for pick up for our activities and showing the different places of interest etc. On Christmas’ eve, he drove back to Kuta to pick us up when we called him (despite the night jam), even though we told him earlier we’re going back on our own and he has already returned to the villa. Plus it’s Christmas Eve, he was actually worried we won’t be able to get any cab. He then drove us to buy our booze and snack at our favorite Carrefour which is quite near the villa. Being Singaporeans, we are not allowed to set fireworks in our country. We told him we wanted to buy the big explosive kind. He then drove us around and checked out each stall for us. We ended up buying from a street seller with Catur getting a good bargain. Back to the villa, Catur and Tony tried to figure out how to play the fireworks. Tony was afraid to light up the fireworks yet he wanted to help us. The feeling was memorable! Catur being the hero, light up the first firework. Seeing it shoot up into the sky, we were enthralled and surprised by the loud blast. We couldn’t stop laughing because it was so much fun! We saved the best for the last and ended our last night at Kuta beach with Catur, setting all the fireworks into the sky. People along the beach stood to watch with us, sharing the same warm fuzzy feeling. :)

Villa Cantik Tresna is an absolute credit to luxury accommodation. The space is magnificently divided and utilized to create a private and tantalizing layout of Balinese and contemporary architecture. The rooms and en suites are something un-paralleled anywhere I've stayed in Bali, if not the world.
It is absolute value for money and could easily be charged at 3 or 4 times the price.
The service is exquisite, making the stay seamless and wholly relaxing. Although not in the most touristic area of Seminyak, you truly feel as if you are in Bali when you travel to and from your villa, and by no means is it an inconvenience to travel to and from.
I would recommend this villa to anyone coming to Bali who wants to have a beautifully unique place to come home to. -

My husband, myself and our 14 year old twins were lucky enough to stay at Villa Cantik Tresna in arch 2009. In fact, we loved it so much we arranged to stay an additional month. Tony, the on-site housekeeper made sure everything was perfect while Catur, the House Manager arranged for our every need, be it a tour of our wonderful surroundings or an in-room massage. We even hired a local woman who shopped and cooked an Indonesian meal for us every night. Pure luxury to a weary family looking to relax and re-connect. The pool was used constantly and the flat screen TV's were a great way to unwind and watch a movie in the evening. Hoping to return next year!

My husband and I went to Bali on the business trip and Villa Cantik Tresna was one of the ideal places to stay for us. The villa is situated in the district where baliness people live, so as you as you have a walk around the neighbourhood you'll be able to see everyday life of the people. The villa itsellf very nice place: good design, big pool and pleasant atmosphere that created by the staff members.
