In Seminyak, the brand new stylish and contemporary Villa Shanti is the four...th in an incredibly popular new stable of boutique villas - Sitara Villas - which all focus on providing a true sense of 'home'. The difference is Villa Shanti IS a home - only available for qualified rentals

Based on clean lines focusing on terrazzo, timber, granite and quality soft furnishings, Villa Shanti is the embodiment of style meets boudoir, yet still manages to infuse elements of eclectic and tropical with panache and vision

Villa Shanti is a two-bedroom contemporary villa with a chic (combined with French Provincial) edge, and is situated down a garden laneway flanked by rice paddies. Although an oasis surrounded by calm, Villa Shanti is conveniently located in Seminyak, a 5 minute walk from the start of the cafe and restaurant strip. Part of the appeal of Villa Shanti is the way deluxe meets contemporary and this is reflected in the mix of European and Oriental features juxtaposed with a tropical exotic setting

Following the Sitara Villa Group concept of Villas hidden in 'Secret Gardens,' Villa Shanti is nestled in lush, established, tropical gardens, fronting onto verdant rice paddies that provide both a welcome breeze and the evening sounds of birdsong and wind rustling through rice stems

Villa Shanti can accommodate up to four guests (children not permitted)

VILLA INCLUSIONS

Two air-conditioned extremely large King bedrooms with oversized Balinese beds and polished terrazzo and timber floors. The rooms feature art installations that are unique in design and style and capture the raw essence of the feel of Bali/France/China/India/Morocco combined with strong elements of the contemporary. Yet they also blend art with practicality, with each room featuring a TV/DVD system, and uniquely individual cupboards or shelves for your personal belongings

The master bedroom has an office alcove and fronts onto the 18m wrap-around pool. It is separated from the main house by a short covered walkway

The second bedroom is upstairs with stunning views over the rice paddies

The Villa has 3 strongly contemporary bathrooms - the master bathroom has a sunken bath and indoor/outdoor shower, double vanity and small bar-fridge. There is a powder room downstairs and the upstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. All bathrooms combine grey granite and grey terrazzo with contemporary European sinks and European tap ware. With attention to detail, these rooms include unique and artistic features to add to the style and elegance of the Villa

The Villa also provides wonderful open living areas overlooking the pool, lush tropical gardens, a contemporary water feature with carp, and elegant garden lighting

The indoor/outdoor open living/dining space features terrazzo floors and contemporary built in corner sofas, with plush, eclectic cushions, a TV area, a French limed dining table which seats 8, Italian inspired white dining chairs and ultra modern lighting including underfloor lighting. Art work remains contemporary yet at the same time warm and inspirational

A full kitchen in grey granite and French-country inspired white cupboards overlooks the garden and pool

The villa has day staff who tend to the gardens, do the cleaning and laundry. Cooking is possible - but at a per-negotiated fee. The staff work in the other Sitara Villa Group villas too, but available at your request

We also provide a direct phone line to a professional Concierge Service who will serve your meals in villa and arrange your tours and spa experiences for a minimal charge

SEMINYAK

Seminyak is the upmarket beach-side area in Bali, with mostly luxury accommodation & fashionable high-end restaurants & bars. The atmosphere is much more sophisticated & laid-back than Kuta, & the beach in particular is quieter during the day. Seminyak is also the high end spa & boutique shopping capital of Bali. Nowhere is the upscaling of Bali in recent years more obvious than here.

Seminyak Beach & Petitenget Beach is a continuous expanse of grey sand stretching in both directions. To the south it becomes Legian & then Kuta Beach, but is noticeably quieter than both. The sunsets here are famous, with opportunities to mix with the glitterati who frequent the high end beachfront establishments such as Ku De Ta. Easy access points are at the end of Jalan Dhyana Pura, & from the large public car park (Rp 2,000) between Petitenget Temple & La Lucciola restaurant

  I recently had the luck to stay at Villa Shanti for 10 days and it was just amazing! The villa itself is an oasis of calm after walking the streets of nearby Seminyak. I loved relaxing by the pool and waking up to the quiet and calm. The location is great as everything you could need is nearby and easy to walk to, including supermarkets, convenience stores and the great cafes and restaurants of Seminyak. Everything I needed was at my fingertips and the amazing staff were so friendly and helpful - they went out and bought groceries for me and made sure the villa was kept beautifully clean. The enormous bed in the downstairs bedroom was so comfortable. I can't thank the wonderful staff enough for making me feel so welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended!! :)

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa shanti. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The villa is very comfortable and private. We enjoyed having the pool to ourselves. Having a full kitchen was a nice bonus although we didn't really use it, the staff cooked us a beautiful Indonesian feast.

  We were lucky enough to stay at villa shanti for one week during our stay in Bali. Absolute privilege if anything. Incredible villa. So beautiful, so serene and tucked away from busy seminyak streets yet everywhere was so accessible. Location amongst rice fields made for an authentic Bali experience. Rooms were divine, daily breakfasts a treat and the staff and owner were absolutely delightful and ready at hand should any kind of help be needed.
  Wonderful.

  We decided because we had such a fabulous time staying at Villa Sitara that we would like to stay at another of your Villas, what luck that we could stay ast "Villa Shanti" which is jjust down further from Villa Sitara
  
  What we loved about this villa is that it has a very elegant style and very private with lots of areas for sitting and reading and listening to music you feel that you really never wanted to leave. We had the lovely Epi to look after us and she is such an asset to you.
  When we come back to Bali we would definatly stay here again, we are so looking forward to having another Villa Shanti experiance

  Loved our stay at your Villa. The villa has a very elegant nice style and not as standard as most of the villa's we've stayed in. Ordered massages for both of us. 2 professional ladies came in and gave us a fabulous massage for reasonable price.
  The manager has also been very helpful with advising us on our further trip.
  Thank you very much and would with no doubt stay there again if available.

  Loved loved loved this villa! Everything from the quiet yet central Seminyak location, fantastic staff and laid back yet glamorous style of the villa met all our expectations. The staff Fenny and Soleil made us feel like family and seemed to magically know when they were needed and what we anticipated. Loved the gorgeous tropical breakfasts and fabulous coffee served in the open air living pavilion to start the day. One of our favorite things were the surround sound speakers throughout the villa that really set the mood while we swam, tanned or had Sav Blancs by the pool. Must mention the l-shaped pool here. Unlike many other villa pools we have experienced, this one seemed to be eternally cool and refreshing at any time of day. Everything in the villa was pristine and high polished. The master bedroom leads out onto the pool area from the main living pavilion and has a magnificent oversized bathroom with a designer chandelier and bar fridge that made it feel like an extension of the room rather than a bathroom. Particularly loved diving into the giant cloud like bed at the end of a day's shopping and waking up to jump straight into the pool as our morning shower. At the top of the laneway there are a few 24/7 supermarkets with atm's so you never really have to go far to stock your fridge. Our favorite restaurants Mama San, Warisan and Metis were within 5 mins walk/drive and the Oberoi Road shopping strip with loads of fantastic boutiques was about a 2minute drive away. At the end of the Oberoi road are Kudeta and La Lucciola which we frequented often as they front the beach for sunsets. Mostly though we didn't find much reason to leave our villa - was such a cool place to relax, hang out and laze, especially if you ask Fenny to arrange an in-villa massage for you (we had one nearly every day).After staying in many villas in Bali, this one is excellent value for location, style, cleanliness and level of service - a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxing break.

  A calm elegant villa centrally located for the Seminyak and Umelas restaurants, for the upmarket shopping and a short distanced from Leggian Beach. A little haven of luxury amongst the few remaining Seminyak rice paddies! The staff are amazing - always ready to help and most efficient. Have now stayed twice and I will always stay in this villa in preference to anywhere else in Bali.

  How lucky was I to have chosen Villa Shanti for our stay in Seminyak. We were greeted on arrival by Ms Linda who made us feel very welcome. This beautifully apointed new villa is situated a stones throw from the elegant livley shopping and dining areas of Seminyak yet offers the tranquility and exculsivity of the rice paddy feilds. We easily morphed from one to the other. The staff at Villa Shanti were exceptional in their attitude and service keeping our environment pristine. My breakfast was prepared freshly every morning and they were very helpfull with tips on the area. My husband and I are very keen to replecate our stay at Villa Shanti next year. We thoroughly recommend it.

  We were the second lot of guests in this brand new villa and were
  thrilled that we had the opportunity to stay here...
  
  Over the 8 years we've been visiting Bali we have stayed at a range of
  private villas, and have in fact stayed in the other 3 Sitara Villa
  Group villas as we decided, after our first stay with this group, that we
  would never stay anywhere else. When their new villa became available for rent we jumped at it, even though it is quite a bit more expensive than their other villas. However it was worth every penny spent this villa, like 2 of their others, is down a quiet lane way off the
  bustling main road and sits in the middle of beautiful rice field. A
  total haven after a busy day in Bali In this villa they have spared no expense, with attention to detail their major aim. The villa is a home first (the owners live in it a couple of months a year) and it is this that makes it so unique, as the fit-out is expensive, carefully selected, amazing quality, and you find everything you could possible want in your home way from home. In fact the villa is pure luxury, the amazing L-shaped pool which wraps around the house is heaven and we
  spent days, with their in-ceiling surround sound system on with fab
  music, floating round the pool on their pool hammocks. We spent far more hours in the villa this trip than we ever have before.
  
  The beds are incredibly comfortable with quality linen and towels, and
  each have unique features so that neither couple (the villa sleeps 4)
  feels cheated. However I did spend hours in the sunken bath in the
  master bedroom...
  
  The villa staff are gorgeous, and come in to prepare amazing breakfasts
  in the morning and then quietly get on with cleaning the rooms
  
  Seriously, if you have a little extra to spend and want an incredible
  holiday - stay in Villa Shanti!

  For the first couple of months we only offered our home villa to guests who have previously stayed in our other villas as this villa, being a home, is so close to our hearts and we needed it to be treated with love. However we have started having enquiries through friends of friends and have decided to selectively let it out as a rental for the months we are not in Bali. The only thing is - we do not accept children as the furniture and colour palette is not really child friendly; nor is the fact that the second room is separated and in the main house, upstairs.
  
  We are so glad you loved this villa and are always thrilled to welcome you back on your trips to Bali.
  
  Again thank you - I know people always have good intentions to review places, but work and life in general can often get in the way of this. So thank you so much for this!
