Just returned back to uk after a two week stay at villa nilaya . All I can say is it was fantastic in every way !! The staff were friendly and efficient and provided us with a truly five star service for the entire stay . The villa was spacious and stylish and had a realy nice vibe throughout . The outside area was equally stylish with great features such as a large pool , decked sunbed area , water gardens and lastly my favourite, a fantastic shaded day bed . The villa is in a great location , just 2 min drive to the Main Street in seminyak , we had a driver but walked on a few occasions to the shops which took 10 min . Our holiday to bali has been one to remember mainly due to villa nilaya and its staff .

This Villa Nilaya is like a private five star hotel. We booked a driver and car available for all our stay and with the attentive staff and house chef we felt like royalty. We all loved the large pool and the garden space and the daybed and the garden swing and feeding the fish etc. etc. It's hard to leave this safe and beautiful world to see the rest of Bali but we did the bike tour and the water park and both were great. Can't find any real faults - sorry !

The villa was absolutly beautiful and very spaceious. Close to shops and Restaurants.
The staff made the trip super special as they were so nice and attentive.
I would defiantly go back. -

Service was 5 star throughout from the airport pick up to arriving at the villa and for the duration of our stay. We were greeted by the staff in the garden with cold towels and welcome drinks and then shown around. We were delighted that the villa pictures and the villa in real life were identical, a really beautiful property with 5 well appointed and equally sized bedrooms. The location was also superb, we could have easily walked(although we didn't:-)) to Ultimo and the rest of the main strip restaurants in around 5 minutes. Our group have frequently stayed in and around the Seminyak area and its tough to find a 5 bedroom villa that's so close to everything with such great service. The only suggestion would be some better blinds in the bedrooms to keep it darker in the morning, especially with small children. Our favourite thing was definitely the staff, Goode and Made really made our week and the 2 dinners that we had in the villa were both excellent, especially the local food. Overall a great stay, we will be back again this summer

Great villa; staff were really good when we arrived and so helpful in organizing whatever we needed. We had a big group (8 adults and 6 kids!) so was worried about finding a villa that could manage but the agent assured us no problem (mmm?). They were right, villa Nilaya was brilliant! Loads of room for everyone and the staff handled everything really well. Breakfast, dinner and lunch have been prepared by chef Goode who was previously the chef at la lucciola (our favourite Italian); great range of cuisines and the BBQ was outstanding. Rooms are all large suites with own bathroom, with showers and all but one suite with a large bath. One suite is separate from the main building with a beautiful outdoor bathroom; we all love the rooms. Mango Daiquiris were served at sunset in and by the pool night before last; a great evening. Our favourite beach bar is Ku De Ta, so with that being just around the corner along with all the restaurants and cafes has made it a perfect location. Will definitely be back again and maybe even do an adults holiday here as well. On our last day today and definitely the best villa we've stayed in so far, in over 10 years visiting Bali.

I had the great pleasure of booking the villa "Nilaya at The Resisence" for my partner's birthday with the added surprise of flying in six of our friends, unbeknown to him, to share in our weeks celebration.
This beautiful accomodation with five spacious bedrooms and sparking pool has the most delightful staff ... you get two houseboys, a chef, housekeeper and the nearly invisible gardener & poolman.
From the moment of being met by ari (afternoon butler) at the airport, with his lovely smile and quiet gentlemanly ways, I knew we were up for something special and I wasn't wrong .. it took but moments to feel at home inthis stunning Villa.
Our first morning was met with the delightful and ever smiling Jaki, so charming and helpful, serving us breakfast prepared by chef Gede.
I have to say all the staff went our of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and more. On the actual day of my partner's birthday they covered our bed and bath in rose petals without us knowing whilst Gede prepared a lovely cake and delicious dinner.
I mustn't forget to mention Karmini, our little mouse with the gentle smile, wisking & polishing away to make the villa shine everyday.
After eight days it was imposible not to think of the staff literally as our own and we were charged with both immense happiness of our time spent and great sadness of leaving.
I can without hesitation recommend staying here ... we will be going back in 2013 !
