We had several brilliant days & nights at the villa, and much of the reason for it being so good is directly down to the wonderful staff. Wayan & Mrs Wayan, & Miss Janmaree. The villa is close to plenty of restaurants, entertainment,and shopping. Its only a few minutes from the beach, and for further afield, Wayan was available - we had a great day in Ubud & surrounds. The privacy, and the quality of the villa cannot be spoken of highly enough. Waking up & having your own private pool right outside your room - this is truly the best way to get away from it all. The break was amazing- I definitly recommend Villa 888 Oberoi, cant wait to go back!

My hubbie, sister and a good friend stayed at the villa for 6 nights in Feb/March and loved it. Just looking back over the photo's brings a smile to my face.
The villa
The villa is lovely, the bedrooms and bathrooms are great and of equal size, the pool and outdoor living area so practical, comfy and gorgeous. Having bottled drinking water was a huge bonus and the ipod doc was great. I loved waking up each morning (besides to the Bali sound of roosters) to the little turtle bathing in the sun, the sun shining and the pool gleeming.
The location
The location is fantastic, just up the alley to everything you could need or want, shops, restaurants, mini-supermarkets, cafes, massages, money exchanges etc. A short taxi ride to Kuta, Legian.
The service
Our hosts Wayan and his wife Whya were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel so at home. Wayan can organise tours, cars, or just about anything for an agreed upon price. He has great local knowledge and is very insightful and passionate about Bali, it's people and it's tourism. Whya would have to be the most humble, kindest person I have ever met and makes a lovely breakfast. She even organised a cake and decorations for my sister's birthday. We met Janmaree on two occasions and she was extremely friendly and outgoing. She kindly re-arranged our villas due to construction happening near their other villa, which we had originally booked.
Minor negatives
The only negatives I could add was that there were several dogs up the alley that made our walk a little worriesome at times, one in particular was very aggressive and chased, growled and snapped at us. The towels could have been changed more regularly or had somewhere to hang and dry, the power tripped regularly (it's a Bali thing) and we struggled with working the tv but these are minor things compared to the amazing stay we had. I love taking photos my self and always advise people to take way toooo many themselves. Holidays are such a whirlwind and some times it is not until we look back do we realise all the wonderful things we did and saw.
Thank you for your kind comments. Your negatives have been put in to action....firstly with a 500,000 relocation offer to the land owner next door to "rehouse" the rooster.

there is not much more to say than...Wow. The whole experience from the villa, the people and just the local culture was incredible. To be able to relax in a private villa in a tropical paradise was to say the least, out of this world! Not to mention shopping 300 meters from the front door. From the moment you walk in the front door it is wow!
Great location - just minutes walk from the main shopping area and fantastic restaurants in Seminyak.
The villa is perfect - from the lovely outdoor bathrooms to the large bedrooms that overlook the gorgeous pool and backyard. The lounge and dining area are great for relaxing in and I loved the openness of the whole villa.
Wayan and the other staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble and they were always happy and smiling!
Wayan (boy) took us to lots of places - he is a great tour guide,always happy to oblige and lots of interesting commentaries. He even took us to a family wedding which was a very special experience.
I cannot say enough about Villa 888 Oberoi - so do yourself a favour - see for yourself!!

The friendly welcome we received from Wayan, and Janmaree upon our arrival to Bali set the scene for what was an awesome holiday. This was our first overseas trip as a family. We had booked the holiday during Nyepi without knowing, however being in Bali at this time was made special because Wayan and Wayan invited us to the festivities and presented us with a wonderful cultural experience. Wayan took our family to his village to become part of the Nyepi celebrations and meet his family. We felt so priveliged to be able to experience this special time. Our 8 year old daughter was talking about Nyepi for days when we returned. The Villa was so wonderful and relaxing. The pool was a great place to relax and the children were all kept happy with the knowledge of an LCD television in every room and movies to boot. We thank Wayan (girl) for the delicious breakfasts and the little babysitting hours she did for us. The villa's atmosphere was so relaxing, just waking in the morning and being able to relax and watch the fish and turtles while the children swam in the pool or watched a movie...our idea of a nice laid back holiday with family. The service was great from the 888 team, Wayan (boy) could even tell the twins apart after 2 days and was very attentive to all our needs and we all loved driving around in the VW. We plan to return and stay here again and highly recommend the Villa 888 Oberoi.

here we stayed at this gorgeous modern living style villa in Bali for 5 glorious nights as a belated honeymoon to ourselves. the house and staff really made our time there in Bali. the house itself is just perfect for a holiday getaway as it is very near to lots of good restaurant and Bali owned designer boutiques.we found dealing with Janmaree is such a pleasure, she is so nice, ever so helpfull and knows Bali inside out.

Wow, what a great holiday we had in beautiful Bali, made all the better by Janmaree and Triple Infinity. The knowledge we gained about Bali and the position was second to none! We ate and shopped at some amazing venues, really this comes down to the information provided to us by Janmaree and her wonderful staff. Couldn't recommend this villa more highly.

Our recent experience went from fantastic to sublime to moment we entered our Villa. To describe the impact it had on us is impossible it simply was an experience in itself to be wrapped up in such luxury and be positioned only a short stroll past rice fields to Seminyaks best eateries and bars (Ku De Ta, Potatoe Head etc). The villa was extremely hard to leave with walls of glass overlooking a dream pool, modern fittings throughout, it was perfect the whole finish was one of style and thoughtfulness. Our Villa became home the minute we got there and I doubt we would ever stay anywhere else. Jan Marie and Wayan, of course the quintessential hosts providing the absolute best in accom. Thx so much for making beautiful Bali a great deal better than it would have been anywhere else.

Lucky enough to find this gem! Owned and operated by the lovely Janmaree Bannon who ensures your stay will be memorable. The villa is in a great location, walking distance to Jalan Laksamana (Eat Street) In Seminyak Oberoi. Many high end restaurants and great shopping right on your door step. The villa offers three double bedrooms , great for a close group of friends.. Open air kitchen/dining ensures you feel relaxed at all times. We were fortunate to be the first guests and were honoured to be included in the blessing of the villa. Beautiful experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
