Description from the manager
Probably the best in its price range, the San Felice Terrace is a sophisticated 3rd floor apartment located only few minutes walk to the Rialto Bridge and the renowned Cà D'Oro Palace, in the eastern side of the authentic Cannaregio District. Here you can find some of the best local restaurants, such as La Vedova and Vini da Gigio which is literally next door, and every sort of shop along Strada Nuova. The Billa supermarket is just around the corner, while the Rialto Market is across the Grand Canal.
The landlord actually lives here during part of the year, taking great care of its elegant and comfortable abode. It has been recen...Read more

This apartment exceeded our expectations and is more beautiful in person. The location was perfect! We would request the same apartment if we are able to return! It was more expensive than we were looking for but we're glad we stayed there! The view is amazing! 2 balconies! Felt like a local!

The San Felice Terrace is an exquisitely furnished two bedroom apartment with two balconies, one of which over looks the canal. The unique selling point is the beautifully equipped kitchen, which enabled us to cook some wonderful meals with fish and vegetables from the Rialto market, only 5 minutes away. I would recommend this apartment to any person who may prefer to eat in from time to time, although it is also easy walking distance from Vini del Giglio, Anice Stellato, and alle Testiere, all of which are excellent restaurants. We are returning to the apartment in May 2013.

All already stated above?
However the 55 steps are a bit of a challenge for older customers and moving our luggage down the stairs at the end of our stay was difficult as nobody from Truly Venice was available to help! -

We were greeted well on our arrival with a detailed tour of the amenities of this fabulous apartment. We enjoyed the two terraces which allowed us to partake in evening apperitifs and breakfast prepared from the well stocked kitchen. The apartment was tastefully furnished with beautiful art on the walls. We were 5 mins from the vaporetto stop and a 15min gentle stroll along beautiful side streets to the alilaguna airport transfer. We adored the views down the canal infront of the front balcony and it was charming to watch the gentle happenings of daily life of the Venetians from there

Company service was very friendly and efficient. Booking process was straightforward and gave us all information required. The apartment was beautiful, luxuriously furnished with all the ammenities one could require. Best feature was the lovely balcony overlooking the junction in the canal. There was always something to watch while enjoying a glass of wine. Location was excellent, close to a vaporetto stop and a good supermarket nearby but the apartment is in a fairly quiet street. It was also within walking distance to San Marco.

This place was perfect for us, two american couples. With two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, perfect location, patio facing a canal, and a washer a dryer and a full modern kitchen it had everything we were looking for. The only downfall was the tiring 3 flights of stairs to climb but in Venice that is to be expected.

Centrally located, but not too close to the tourist "traffic". Perfect for walking to where ever we wanted to go. The apartment was clean, furnishings like new and very spacious. Kitchen had everything needed for preparing family dinners, all the needed pots, pans and utensils.
The only draw back that I can think of, was the floors weren't covered with a lot of carpet. A little tough on the feet at times. Other than that, perfect, just perfect. Will definitely be back. -

The service from the agency could have been better on arrival, however, the apartment made up for the initial hiccups. It is an amazing home with all the comforts you could ask and has to be the cleanest place I have ever stayed in.
Location is perfect with a supermarket nearby and great restaurants in the area.
Would definitely return!! -

A property of an exceptionally high standard in all respects. An ideal location for exploring Venice by water or foot. Loved both sun terraces especially the balcony overlooking the canal. Lovely red geraniums were a colourful display in the summer. Our first trip to Venice made all the more special by this first rate accommodation.

Excellent welcome from the helpful rep. The flat is just wonderful! Extremely spacious will great balcony views; two bathrooms and well appointed kitchen.
The location is extremely convenient - just off the main drag, a short walk from the Rialto and two minutes from a supermarket.
The stand out features were the location, views and the flat itself.
The only problem was we arrived before the flat was ready - this can't have been a surprise as flight times were known well in advance - what do you do in Venice with a load of luggage? The same on departure, it didn't seem very easy to negotiate leaving our luggage until flight time.
On the whole - thoroughly recommended, I would go back again! -

We were met promptly by the rep and his introduction to the flat and its facilities was efficient and welcoming. The location was excellent for food shopping and the kitchen was very well equipped.
The entire flat was in extremely good order and everything worked perfectly. There were adequate amounts of towels, bedding etc.
Books and CDs made the flat seem less sterile than most-we felt at home from the moment we entered.
The flights of stairs may be daunting for some visitors but this is our only reservation. We would certainly return to this property. -

We were met and taken to the apartment and shown around. The apartment was great with 2 balconies, large lounge and just as described online. The washing machine on the back balcony worked well.We have stayed in apartments in Venice on quite a few occasions and this is my favourite really, even though there is no view of the Grand Canal. It was far too hot outside in early September 2011 so we were pleased to have the aC to retreat to in the heat of the day. Initially 2 floors up was a bit tiring but I was much fitter when we went home!
The apartment was obviously somebody's home and there were very precious things left there so we were very very careful to look after the stuff. The free WiFi was very useful. -

Stairs daunting on first day only! We self catered breakfasts & dinners - perfect (so was weather for balcony dining).
Usual problem with using TV controls - 'hit and miss' getting English channels - but good CD music library was appreciated.
Local amenities excellent - we had a really memorable and enjoyable 5 days - could have stayed for weeks!
Thank you - the service was excellent.
