Brisbane/AustraliaWhat a great place!
Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in October 2012
We finished our last Europe holiday with a week in Venice and booked, what turned out to be, this lovely and centrally located apartment direct on the Grand Canal. It had all the mod cons one would need to make a stay comfortable and easy. Having access to the wonderful gardens was also a plus. Having them housekeeper living on the premises was also advantageous. Watching the passing parade of ferries, gondolas, water taxis and barges from the front lounge room was quite interesting. The bedroom, in the centre of the unit, had a good bed but needed to have better airflow. The only drawback was the occasional early morning clatter of barges negotiating the entrance to the small canal a few metered away.
Dorsoduro is a nice, quite 'suburban' locality with terrific, little and inexpensive restaurants, all within easy reach of the unit. We would certainly consider staying here again. -

My husband and I were so impressed with the Rezzonico Suite when we stayed there in September 2012. It was close to some really lovely and affordable restaurants and shops and a 2minute walk to a local food market if you want to cook your own food in the well equiped kitchen.
There is a beautiful walled garden with a friendly black cat adjoining the appartments, we sat there and had lunch there one day.
The rooms of the appartment are decorated with lovely antiques and the view of the Grand Canal from the lounge is just spectacular. It was lovely to wake up with a coffee and sit watching the boats going up and down the canal. We would definately stay there again when we return to Venice.
Checking in and out was also very easy.
Overall very impressed with The Rezzonico Suite and the Truly Venice Staff.
Thank you for an excellent experience in beautiful Venice. -

Working with Truly Venice was truly easy and the apartment didn't disappoint. It was fairly represented on the website with very accurate photography. It was very clean and the view of the canal was very romantic. The service was efficient and friendly. The only drawbacks with this apartment were the swollen wooden front door that was very difficult to open and it was a bit drafty in the winter. We would definitely return to this lovely spot. We loved our stay.

The apartment was very comfortable, well-appointed and a good size even for american standards. The kitchen is new and has a washing machine, which we appreciated. The livingroom is sunny and right on the Grand Canal. Only complaint was that we had no use of the dock for sitting to watch the marvelous canal parade or of the garden between 7pm-8am -- we feel that we should have been given a key to use this when we pleased!

We had a fantastic time in Venice, and the accommodation was great. Daniela was very helpful leading up to the holiday and always kept us well informed. The apartment was beautiful and clean. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment downstairs which had a gorgeous view of the canal from the living room. The rest of the family stayed in the grand three bedroom apartment upstairs which had a view of the beautiful garden. The location was superb with excellent public transport nearby. We will stay here again next time we visit Venice.

Central location directly on the Canal Grande, good service from Truly Venice, helpful caretaker, small but nice apartment.
The bathroom definitely needs an update and the pull-out bed in living room could have been more comfortable. Otherwise everything great, would be happy to stay in apartment again.

The Truly Venice website did not work perfectly, so our arrival information was not received. A phone call on arrival was all it took to connect with the rental agent. The property is beautiful! We especially enjoyed the antiques and Murano chandelier in the living room. The garden is well maintained. We had no problems using the wifi. Being right on the grand canal was noisy as there were boats going by constantly -- but they were also interesting to watch. The boat noise was confined to the living room -- we did not hear it in the bedroom. Because of the location we used the vaporettos much more often than our previous visit.

A wonderful apartment right on the grand canal. Great having the internet access when we wanted it. Had quite a wait for the representative to meet us when we first arrived. Not ideal when you have traveled for a few hours so the service in this aspect could definitely be improved. The garden was great but would improve by some more comfortable places to sit. Overall very happy.

Left on 01/10/2012 for a stay in October 2011
The service we received was of a high standard. The apartment was brilliantly located on the ground floor of a palace built in 1150 and situated on the Grand Canal. The amenities were adequate however the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are in need of an upgrade. We liked being in the lounge and seeing the traffic on the Grand Canal and the huge garden which was open for guests to use. We did not like the entrance being at the end of a dark alley which was eerie when coming home at night.

The representative of Truly Venice met us on arrival and provided us with very useful information about the accommodation and local amenities (very important when our arrival was on a Sunday afternoon and many food stores were already closed). The apartment was well furnished and extremely comfortable for two people. The caretaker was very friendly and (after obtaining permission from the owner) showed us around the private apartments upstairs. We had our own private garden-a rarity in Venice. The view from our lounge windows was directly onto the Grand Canal and became a constant source of fascination at all points of the day and night.

We had a fantastic stay in this suite for the Vogalonga weekend in June this year. The location of the suite on the banks of the Grand Canal was absolutely wonderful, and a private garden at the back was a great bonus too. The rooms were not enormous but the decor was very traditional and we were very comfortable. We had access to the Grand Canal itself to watch all of the rowing during the regatta and this was the highlight of our stay. The service that we received from the agency in arranging our accommodation and in reserving restaurants once we had booked, was absolutely fantastic so I thoroughly recommend the agency for all their hard work. Bravo!

Left on 07/25/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Beautiful location - water lapping at the windows - very handy for vaporetto and all major sites. One of the best equipped rental apartments we have had. Unfortunately the experience was soured by extremely unhelpful greeter who clearly had no idea how long the aliguna ferry takes and rang up to reproach us for keeping her colleague waiting. Even though we arrived at the agreed meeting place before 8pm she insisted on charging us extra for the inconvenience. We only asked for one piece of information and later discovered her answer was wrong. We come to Venice every year and this is the only time we have been disappointed by our reception.

Left on 05/07/2011 for a stay in March 2011
Rezzonico Suite: With windows directly onto the Grand Canal the view could only be bettered by a gondola ride! The thick walls and ancient roof-beams were those of a palace. No where else in Venice, not even in the museum next door, did I see a larger or more elegant garden. We enjoyed the proximity to the major sights of Venice in the authentic atmosphere of Dorsoduro and convenience of what felt like our own special home.

OxfordMagical location for a romantic break in Venice
Left on 05/06/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Although not in Ca' Rezzonico itself, the apartment is right next door and we could look in through our bedroom window from the staircase of Ca' Rezzonico when we went to visit. Tucked in the corner of an echoing palazzo, we felt very secluded and enjoyed breakfasts in the garden, lunches by the window looking out at the Grand Canal and being able to walk anywhere from this wonderfully placed apartment. Like many Italian apartments, the kitchen was a good deal less grand than the sitting room and bedroom, but it was adequate. The only downside for us was a significant problem with the boiler (now fixed, I imagine) but we were recompensed generously by Truly Venice for that inconvenience. We'd certainly go back.
