Description
The Foscolo is a hidden gem located between the Guggenheim Collection and the Zattere waterfront, in the most desired part of the Dorsoduro District, reachable in only 3 minutes' walk from the Accademia Vaporetto stop and 3 minutes' walk from the monumental Basilica della Salute. In the surroundings you can find Punta della Dogana and François Pinault Foundation, the Accademia Galleries and other world famous landmarks. Many Venice connoisseurs and influent artists bought their house here as it is a picturesque, quiet and central area of Venice.
The Foscolo apartment is a very quiet first floor apartment of a small house facing east on the gardens of a historic palace and west on private courtyards, thus very bright. The apartment is accessible from a non-touristy street and has a useful storage room at the ground floor where you can keep possible bulky items you may have. It is composed of a small entrance, a generous size living room equipped with a comfortable double pull-out sofa bed and a table for four people, a compact but very functional kitchen, a cozy bedroom and a nice bathroom with shower. The bedrooms is separated by the living room by a sliding wooden grid that doesn't isolate completely acoustically or visually the two areas, but gives a nice warm feeling to the ambience.
The smart lay-out of the Foscolo apartment, newly renovated in a contemporary style, has been studied to guarantee maximum comfort to the most demanding guests, despite the compact size of the flat. The amenities of this house include air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet connection, flat screen TV with DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher and all other basic electrical appliances.
The house is perfect for a couple, but for short stays it is also suitable for up to 4 people. In summary the Foscolo apartment is a fresh and easy living sort of apartment with a welcoming atmosphere. We suggest it to romantic couples or singles, also for longer stays.

Indeed, it is comfortable, quiet, and very well located for those looking to experience Venice is a residential area. However, we feel we must speak out against slander. Delivering false information which holds the potential damage our otherwise wonderful reputation is unacceptable. We hope this response serves as a clarification to our future guests and as a reaffirmation of our standards to our multitudinous returning guests. Here at Truly Venice, we keep our prices competitive and realistic. As it is stated on our booking form and online, we do ask for a late arrival charge when our guests arrive after 20:00. Because we met you at 23:30 at the Accademia boat stop, our representative reserved the right to ask this late arrival charge from you. If our clients are late due to a delayed flight, broken down car, or any other issue which is beyond their control, often times we do not ask for the fifty additional euro. Because your party intentionally booked a late arriving flight, the service charge was asked of you. Not only did our representative agree to greet your party in the very late hours, but he also had arranged that you have a bottle of prosecco, some milk, coffee, and tea to accompany the basics which are supplied in all of our apartments. We must make very clear that at no time did our Venice Representatives receive a call from your during your stay with us. We always encourage our guests to contact us at any point during their stay should they have any questions, concerns, or feedback. Had we had any idea that you felt our services could have been improved, we surely would have acted upon your thoughts. Regarding the cleaning, we are sorry to hear you felt our property could have been better cleaned. This is something we will discuss with our maid services in order to ensure a consistent service and experience for all of our guests. Having said that, we would have been happy to rectify this situation immediately had we understood that you were unhappy. It is always our intention to offer wonderful service to our guests.
