Playa Madera is a short two minute walk away, La Ropa beach is an 8-10 minutes walk. The town center, a short 8-10 minute stroll away, has a bustling, vibrant central food, farmers & artisans market with many local restaurants.
The town beach has a fishermens’ market and is fringed with even more restaurants. There is a central square or “zocalo” which hosts many local activities.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Pura Vita for two weeks. The location was perfect just a very short five minute walk to the beach, Playa Medera. Playa La Ropa and Playa Principal are also just a short walk. A boat ride across the bay will take you to Las Gatos beach. Walking to the market daily for groceries was also a treat for us. We made most of our meals at the casa enjoying all the fresh produce and fish we could. The kitchen at Casa Pura Vita had everything we needed along with a great BBQ by the pool area.
Having two pools at the complex was really nice, both clean and well taken care of. The casa itself was clean and very comfortable. Big comfy king size beds and a two large bathrooms. The area is quiet and I always felt safe in the gated complex and out in the neighborhood.
There are lots of restaurants in the area, from gourmet to great little beach huts.
Needless to say we will be back. It is a great place to stay.

We had a fabulous time staying in Casa Pura Vida. We truly felt it was our Casa. Wifi, large screen tv, air conditioner and bottled water just a few of the amenities we appreciated. The condo is fully equipped right down to the Margaritta Maker!
Everyday was an adventure. Each morning I walked to Playa La Ropa and enjoyed a wonderful yoga class, looking out on the beach, with the cool breeze blowing. Then breakfast on the beach and swimming in the warm Pacific waters. I don't want to forget about the messages, so reasonable and so good!
Playa Madera was a 5 minute walk from the condo, we had many delicious lunches at the little restaurant there. It's where we met Monkey the waiter, what a great resource! He quicly became a trust worthy friend, and an excellent guide, who can arrange just about anything you could ask for (he is all about service).
Of course, there were many afternoons we spent luxuriating in the pools at the condo(yes, there are two). This wonderful condo is surrounded by restaurants, The food was so inexpensive and delicious, we didn't bother to cook. This is my idea of a real vacation! Lots to do if we wanted to and nothing to do if we decided not to. Never a moment did we not feel safe. Brian and Jan make everything easy they were great to rent from and we can't wait to go back!!!
Sorry I am not able to come up with least favorite remarks. Maybe, that a month would be better than 10 days!
