Description
Casa Bruja (the bewitching villa) is ideal for a long or short stay at any time of the year. The large heated pool makes it particularly suitable for families with small children. The villa benefits from glorious mountain views and is located directly on Alhaurin Golf course. It is close to the clubhouse and local bar/restaurant, only 3km from the bustling Moorish town of Alhaurin El Grande with all facilities, and just 8km from the world-famous UNESCO-protected Andalucian hill-village of Mijas.
There is a large private heated pool with its own toilet and shower room and gas barbecue, and attractive lighting to entice you to enjoy an evening dip! The pool is available 15 April - 31 October - See below for details of pool heating.
Our well-equipped semi-detached villa has full air-conditioning, and substantial areas of both sunny and shaded terracing from which you can enjoy the views in all directions, and especially across to the hills and setting sun in the West.
Ground floor: large dining /sitting room with lovely views across to the hills, 40ins Smart TV (for internet and UK & Spanish radio and TV stations), DVD player, wired and Wifi internet router. There is also a downstairs toilet.
Upstairs: three twin bedrooms and family bath/shower room. Two bedrooms have stunning views, one with balcony and the other with its own en-suite bath/shower room. The third bedroom overlooks the pool area and includes a convenient desk and canvass cot for small babies. Free off-road parking and welcome pack on request.

Please arrive at the villa at any time BETWEEN 16:00 and 20:00 on your first day, and we ask that you leave by 11:00 on your last day; this gap gives us time to clean the villa between guests. If your plans are different from this, it's ESSENTIAL to negotiate with us before placing the booking.
A welcome pack will be provided on request; we recommend that you drive straight to the villa, see what's already in stock and then make a shopping trip to Alhaurin El Grande, only 3km away. There's also a local BP petrol station which is open till about 22:00; it sells a useful range of basics, and also has a good bistro.
We provide a detailed house guide to all guests, together with route instructions to enable you to find our villa easily from Malaga airport, and our English & Spanish-speaking local agent will be delighted to meet you on arrival and show you round.

Casa Bruja has full air-con, all mod cons, one bedroom with en-suite and a well-equipped kitchen. The rooms are bright and airy and most have stunning views of the beautiful surrounding scenery. There are polished marble floors throughout, and all facilities are as described in the tick-boxes.
Golf: Casa Bruja is absolutely the perfect location for a golf-based vacation. The villa is directly opposite the 12th tee of the prestigious and challenging main 18 hole course at Alhaurin Golf (designed by Severiano Ballesteros), and there are two other courses on site. There are at least 40 other courses within a 40km radius of the villa; for further details, please see the website for Alhaurin Golf.
Internet service: We offer a full wired and wifi service which connects to the smart TV and is compatible with any laptop with wifi capability, ipads, tablets, smart phones etc, and is available at NO CHARGE to our guests.

There are large areas of sunny and shaded patio at the front and back of the villa. There are glorious views to the front overlooking the mountains and the golf course, while the back benefits from a large private heated pool with Roman (semi-circular) steps at the shallow end.
The pool area has its own WC and shower room with hot and cold water, gas bbq - every facility for a relaxing holiday! The private pool (8M x 4M, 1.4-1.8M depth) is available from 15 April - 31 October and pool heating is INCLUDED in the rental charge during the period except when it's NOT REQUIRED during July & August :-)

“Lovely and quiet with beautiful views”
First time we've stayed in a villa and weren't disappointed. It was big enough for all 3 of us to rattle around in, clean, well furnished, private and nice and quiet. We travelled with a 13 year old and she loved the pool and the fact she had her own bathroom next to her bedroom with a balcony providing a great view. Everything you need is supplied and previous guests graciously leave items they don't need when they leave, so villa is well stocked. Pool area is large and capable of seating a lot of people and has various inflatables for the pool along with a barbecue and other equipment. It also has a separate enclosed shower room with sink and toilet. The pool is heated but takes a while for it to reach a decent temperature, well for the temperature to be acceptable to me, however, the 13 year we travelled with completely disagreed! Also, if the weather was hotter I think it would have helped raise the temperature somewhat. We hired a car as we like to get to as many places as possible whilst on holiday. I would recommend Malagacar.com which was probably the best and fastest service we have ever received by a hire company, in and out in 10 minutes and NO excessive credit card deposits taken. When you return the car they even drop you off at the airport in it , it is just across the road however, but from arrival at their site to the airport, it takes less than 5 minutes. Alhaurin del Grande centre is 5 minutes away by car and has a good supply of shops restaurants and supermarkets for all your needs, but obviously there are many more further afield. There are a great many places to visit in southern Spain and the villa has a good supply of guides proving information on where to go. Fuengirolla and the beaches are around 30 minutes drive away and have the usual supply of shops bars and restaurants. The directions to the villa are supplied by the owners upon booking and are very easy to follow. The drive from Malaga airport was around 30 minutes and upon arrival we were met by Christina who gave us a tour of the villa. She gave us her number to contact her if we had any questions or queries, but we had none. Checkout is also painless, simply sending Christina a text message confirmed what we had to do. Pictures of villa are a true reflection of the accommodation and we would definitely return next year. Try it, we're sure you'll like it, and we hope you have a good holiday

“Excellent accomodation, lovely area, couldn't have asked for more”
The villa was well equipped and we were pleased with the privacy it afforded us. Also, with a baby, we were keen to be somewhere quiet and away fom too much hustle and bustle but close to amenities. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return again. English telly was a huge plus too. The property is well located to explore Andalucia and the Costa Del Sol.

“We love it, is one of the nice places we know!”
My english is not so good, I hope I found the right words. We are Golf players and love the Alhaurin Golfclub. We get a monthly membership an like ist very much. We are German, we not able to use the gasgrill. If you are German too, take some DVD;s with you, because there ist only english televison. We hope we will come back next year!
