Description

This modern apartment is a very rare catch because it is situated in a villa near the conference centre. There are only 23 detached houses in Amsterdam and just 10 of them are at the waterside and with a private parking space.

There are 2 bedrooms each with with Kingsize beds and 1 bathrooms.

If you would like to stay a week there is a possibility to rent the kitchen.

The huge and very well equipped kitchen is also on the first floor,

The dining table in the kitchen seats 8 persons and there are two sunny terraces (facing South and the canal) and possibilities to eat outside.

The bathroom is having a shower and floor-and towel heating and hairdryer.

This comfortable villa is situated along the canal and near the conference centre "RAI" . 10 minutes from the city centre. The area has all kinds of restaurants (also for breakfast), lot's of nice shops, a supermarket and there is a park across the road.

Public transport to the airport and to the centre is easy. Train and subway. There are also 2 bikes available to explore the city. The villa has free WIFI.

Tram 5 and 4 takes you to the centre in just 10 minutes but if you prefer to get around like the locals you can go by bike or walking (20 minutes)

“Fantastic apartment, great location.”

We were a group of 4 staying in Amsterdam for the weekend for a friend's wedding. We took an Uber from the airport and it cost €18 and took about 15 minutes. The area is really nice and relatively quiet. Certainly not full of tourists and I mean that in a positive way. It's a short walk to a supermarket and lots of bars and restaurants. It's a 5 minute taxi ride into central Amsterdam but you could walk if you wanted to. The apartment was pristine. It had everything you needed for a short stay. It was like an IKEA show home! An added bonus was having a lovely garden backing onto a river. Froukje, the owner, was really nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. She even let us check out quite late on the last day which was a big help as our flight was later in the evening. Overall I couldn't say enough positive things about the location and the apartment and the owner. After speaking to friends who stayed in hotels over the weekend it was an awful lot cheaper than what they paid for a boring, sterile hotel chain. I will certainly consider booking this apartment the next time I am in Amsterdam. Thanks Froukje!

How do damage deposits work?
