Description

This quaint Canarian fisherman's cottage is right on the sea and traditional harbour front of Arrieta. Located next to the slipway where the local fishermen still launch their colourful wooden boats, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The eco cottage is "Off Grid" and runs on solar power, it is a fantastic example of sustainable living yet with convenience of Free WIFI. The cottage has been restored to a very high standard and features include wooden floors, Canarian balcony and a general fishing theme, there are even fishing rods supplied to have a go at catching your own dinner!

The Cottage is one of the original buildings in Arrieta village. It has a spacious traditional courtyard, ideal for al fresco dining and a BBQ.

The cottage has a cosy ground floor living room, with stunning sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an outdoor shower room and WC.

An external wooden staircase leads to the spectacular master bedroom suite, with panoramic sea views, king size 180cm wide bed, wooden surround bath and en-suite W.C.

Guests at the cottage have access to the facilities of nearby eco retreat Finca De Arrieta, just a few minutes drive by car. Facilities are free of charge and include; Solar heated pool, large shaded day bed, shaded pool side salon area, toy box, play park, sunken trampoline, football sand pitch, ping pong table, farm animals included donkey, ducks, hen house so you can collect your eggs for breakfast, staffed information hut, honesty shop, "Off Grid living experience" solar hob, and lush garden setting.

We suggest if you are planning to look around the island of Lanzarote that Ideally you hire a car. We can help put you in touch with a local company. If you prefer there are a couple of daily buses to catch from Arrieta. You can walk easily to the La Garita sandy beach and along to the neighbouring village of Punta Mujeres.
