Description

This Apartment is in this popular complex, Arroyo de la Meil, Benalmadena. Situated in the sought after Gamonal area, this apartment is in a perfect position to enjoy the resort's delights being 15 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the fantastic park de Paloma. Shops, bars restaurants and the train station are all close by.

The apartment has one bedroom with twin beds , air conditioning ans 32" tv. A bathroom with bath and shower. A kitchen with fridge microwave, mini oven, twin hobs and washing machine.

The living room has 2 comfortable chairs and a sofa which can be folded into a large double bed. There is a large flat screen tv with Netflix and amazon prime with UK channels, Spanish HD digital tv, with DVD with many dvds, also books for nights in

The sunny corner balcony has views over the gardens and the park complete with chairs and table to enjoy long cool drinks

The apartment is fully equipped for long lets

The complex has 2 large swimming pools open Easter to September which are protected by life guards. Well kept communal gardens, 24 hrs reception (English spoken) and parking. Pool opening has changed this year Open Friday Saturday & Sunday until mid June, then full open until the end of August

A Sea life center is just across the park. Bonanza Square with its restaurants and bars is 5 minutes walk

please note the apartment is non smoking but there as a large balcony for anyone wishing to smoke.

Getting around

A tour I would recommend is a trip to Gibraltar, a local Lady runs a bus on a Tuesday shopping at the British shops. The Rock tour is a must if you enjoy your history. Cigarettes and spirits, as it a duty free port are inexpensive. You can reach Seville and Rhonda via train from Arroyo station via Malaga. Visit the local station for details. Mjass is a pretty village 5 miles away from the studio. This can be visited by a local bus. The reception should be able to give you details. Malaga is an easy place to visit using the train; we did the hop on hop off bus and really enjoyed it. Marbella is easily visited

Fantastic apartment had everything in there that was needed. Air con in bedroom was freezing so nice in hot days. Will definitely use again.

“Arroyo de la Miel Apartment”

The apartment was in a clean state, super spacious with a great living area including a large sofa bed and two rocking chairs and a desk to do work on. The kitchen was of a good size enough for us three to cook our own meals. None of the appliances had issues, so we were also able to wash our clothes with the washing machine. The two beds were very comfortable, and the airconditioning units in the living room and the bedroom were ice cold. There was a wardrobe storage unit full of spare towels, bedsheets and pillows which was great so that all of us got a comfortable sleep. The balcony was enough for us three to socialise before a swim in the flat’s shared pool which was very clean and well maintained just like the gardens, a great view from the balcony. Accessibility was ideal, it was in a relatively quiet location in comparison to central Malaga that helped with parking nearby, yet close enough to the AP-7 highway to connect us to both Malaga and Fuengirola using our rental car, and explore to other areas such as the El Chorro lakes. It was also easy to follow instructions given by Paul to obtain the key for the apartment. If I were to come to Andalucia again, I would most definitely consider the same apartment without hesitation. If not, then possibly another apartment in the Agata complex or others on the same street. Thank you Paul for your great apartment.

Response from the owner There are guests who are harder to please than others. I had emails from this lady before the holiday complaining holidaylettings had charged her 14 euros more than the quoted price. Then the lady wanted to stay extra nights but wanting the extra night at greatly reduced prices. I got my first text complaining the internet was not working Christmas morning. I explained €25 euro next to the router The lady paid only €20 into the activation box in the reception. I then got further texts letting me know the internet still was not working. I made various calls and emails to the to the internet company, who were very good and I paid a call out fee for them to came out to look out the internet on boxing day It transpired the guests had pressed a reset on the router which caused the internet not to work and as the tv is internet based also not to work. The next day I got further texts saying the water to the apartment was not working. I called the reception from England who told me notices had been put up to say the water would be off for an emergency repair to a water valve. I let the client know this and the response was immediate, “when is it coming back on”. I advised it may be easier for them to call the reception from the apartment to find out rather than me guessing from England. The English tv was checked by the cleaning lady on departure who found the client had moved the settings on the tv remote. I will pass on the comments regarding the cleaning to the management company. I know the throws for the chairs were new in late October and the curtains were washed by ourselves September. This client may have very high cleaning standards and should possibly consider staying in a 5 star hotel rather than pay £ 30 per night for a one bedroom apartment over the Christmas and new year I will let the reception know the lights are out along the corridor and get the problem of the doorbell not working repaired as soon as possible. This booking was only made one week before Christmas and looking back there were 51 texts and 17 emails between the client and I, there is no mention of a dirty apartment throws or curtains or repairs needed. I ask guests to let me know of any issues and I will do my best to resolve, not to wait until they return home and complain in a review. but this lady has looked for minor problems to justify a poor review. These guests spoilt my Christmas complaining about the internet when the problem was caused by themselves. I flew out after this review and found the comments regarding the cleanliness to be unjustified and walked into a clean and tidy apartment
