Description

This very well equipped and furnished 2BR, 2BA second floor ocean view condo is the perfect spot for your vacation! It is just steps from our beautiful Bavaro beach and you can see the ocean from the second floor balcony.

The master bedroom has a 4 poster king size bed with full en suite bathroom, blow dryer, small desk, remote controlled Hunter ceiling fan, TV, DVD player, night stands, a safe for your valuables and lots of closet space. The second bedroom has a queen size 4 poster bed, remote controlled Hunter ceiling fan, TV, lots of closet space. In the hall way is the second full bathroom with blow dryer as well.

The front door enters to the living area where you will find a full size sofa bed plus two other casual chairs, TV, DVD with miscellaneous DVD's, board games, small portable radio, private wifi, wall unit with decor items, remote controlled Hunter ceiling fan and sliding patio doors to the balcony with view to the pool , gazebo and ocean. The balcony has a few multi position teak chairs with cushions and small side table so you can enjoy the view.

The dining area has a dining table with extension and seating for 6 (two of the chairs are in the bedrooms) and a water cooler. There are two bar stools that allow you to sit at the kitchen counter while sipping on a nice glass of wine, juice or cup of coffee while entertaining the cook in your group.

The kitchen itself is very well equipped with granite counter tops, gas stove with range hood, "Cuisinart" everything such as expresso maker, coffee maker, blender, 4 slice toaster, microwave, etc. It also has lots of pantry space, a sandwich grill/press, "Calphalon" cookware, sharp knives, tons of "Kitchenaid" cooking utensils, lots of dishes, bake ware, plastic ware, cutlery and anything you could think of for your cooking enjoyment.

A door from the kitchen leads to the very spacious laundry/utility room where you will find a stacking washer/dryer, on demand hot water heater, utility sink, iron, ironing board, etc. This condo also has 6 portable high quality beach chairs in case you want to walk the hundred steps or so it will take you to get to the beach just out the gate, turn right and a few steps later you are on the beach!

The Beach Residency community itself is a small gated community with secure parking, 24 hour security, a common area gazebo with table and chairs and a nicely maintained swimming pool.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ELECTRICITY IS PAID EXTRA (a meter reading is taken upon arrival and again upon departure so that clients only pay for their own usage at the current rate/kW).

Getting around

The local bus "Traumapabu/Sitrabapu" can be taken for under $1 US to either of the bigger shopping malls, Palma Real or San Juan Shopping Center. If you wish to see other parts of the country, you may wish to rent a car OR you can take the Bavaro Express bus directly to the capital of Santo Domingo if you wish to explore that on your own. There are excursions that will also take you there. Everything you might need is within easy walking distance!
