Description
Welcome to our modern holiday apartment in the picturesque yachting port of Benálmadena Puerto Marina. We would like you to feel at home, to want to return and to recommend us to your friends and family.
Enjoy a stress free, relaxing holiday in our bright, cosy studio of about 40 m². The apartment is located on the second and last floor of an Andalusian style building with a patio in the staircase. It is next to the magnificent beach of Fuente de la Salud, which is perfect for sunbathing, swimming and long walks
The large dining/living and sleeping area facing west, offers beautiful views onto the Plaza de la Goleta with the Calamorro mountain in the background. From afternoon to dusk you can enjoy the sun here. The glass front in the dining area can be opened totally to convert it into a spacious terrace. The electric awning offers shade over the balcony.
A big and comfortable bed (size 1,80 x 2,00 m) equipped with 2 high quality mattress offers very good support to provide you with a good night´s sleep.
The TV can be watched directly from the bed or from one of the comfortable armchairs. The big LED flat screen can be tilted. International channels by satellite dish are available, as well as all the Spanish channels.
The air-conditioning unit, with cool and heat functions, guarantees a perfect room temperature.
This charming studio has a modern bathroom with a glass door shower and an open plan kitchen equipped with all the utensils needed to make cooking fun.
If you do not feel like preparing your meals yourself, there is a great choice of restaurants in the area. Fish, meat, vegetarian, Spanish, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Italian and others … all in walking distance.
The town of Benálmadena offers many attractions, from the numerous monuments and fantastic beaches to an attractive nightlife.
Close by there is a big supermarket that opens 365 days a year, from 7 AM to 1 AM.
The central location of the studio makes transport by your own car unnecessary. The taxi ride from the airport costs around 22 Euros. In general, taxi fares on the Costa del Sol are quite affordable.
Benalmádena is also the ideal starting point for exploring the region of Andalusia. Several Bus companies offer guided sightseeing trips in English to places like Córdoba, Gibraltar, Ronda, Sevilla or Granada (and the Alhambra).
If you prefer to explore the area on your own, we would recommend you hire a car. Parking on the road in front of the apartment is free of charge. There is also a big public parking in the port (about 100 m away), for a fee .
On your arrival, you will be welcomed with a free bottle of wine.

P.S. There are luggage scales in the apartment to prevent you from unpleasant surprises at the airport.

“Great Studio Apartment”
We have just returned from a week in this lovely apartment. Everything you need is there, including beach chairs and parasol! The location is perfect with the beach on your doorstep in one direction and the marina in the other. For a studio apartment it is very spacious with a lovely separate eating area and a small balcony where we enjoyed eating breakfast. Andrea is very responsive to email enquiries and met us when we arrived to show us how everything worked. One thing to be aware of is that if you use the air conditioning then the bottle on the balcony collecting the condense water needs to be emptied regularly. A complimentary bottle of red wine was left in the apartment which was a nice touch. As a suggestion a bottle of water might also be a nice idea. The apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users, as stated, but also might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. There is a flight of stairs up to the entrance and then 2 further flights inside. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and must admit the stairs were a struggle. Just be aware that if you arrive with 20kg suitcases you have to carry them up all the stairs although Andrea did say that a lift was going to be installed at some point. Unfortunately for my husband there wasn't a lift and as he stood there looking very hot he mumbled something about wishing we had smaller cases lol. We will definitely recommend this apartment and wouldn't hesitate to stay again especially if there is a lift :-)

“Ideal holiday location”
This is our 2nd time staying at los molinos. It was just as fantastic this time around as it was this time. Cath the host was always available for questions before our holiday and anytime we needed to ask a question while we were there. The location in mijas pueblo is excellent just a short walk into the centre where the shops and places to eat are there. The apartment has everything you need we felt as if we could live there permanently it is that good. Will be back in the future
