Description

Welcome to Lejartre. A rustic, ornate and quaint Villa situated in the foothills of the Blue and John Crow Mountains in Saint Andrew, Jamaica. If you are a nature lover, enjoy hiking or swimming or just relaxing; where all you hear are the sweet sounds of nature including the birds, the flowing river and Jamaican music from the small rural districts close by, this is the place for you. This cosy getaway offers you that and much more.

We promise to make your stay enjoyable. All meals are prepared by our friendly staff. Breakfast is included in the cost. We have various meal packages which will be discussed with you when you book. Our manager on duty, will ensure you are covered as all services are provided by our staff. Our Villa sleeps 10, however we do accommodate groups under 10. Yoga, Massages and other spa services are available upon request at an additional cost. Our fully equipped cottage Avocado, sleeps an additional 4.

Lejartre is situated in an area called Langley, Mount Airy situated in the Western section of the Blue and John Crow mountains. It is close to the border of Saint Andrew and St Mary. The area is known for coffee, nutmeg, plantain, bananas and other cash crops. The property is close to the historical Langley Great House which was an old coffee Mill in the 1800's. The Morris River meets other tributaries at the Great House and cascades into a beautiful watering hole perfect for swimming especially in the hot summer months.

Our property is situated on three acres of gently sloping land. The Morris river borders the land and hiking trails will take you there. Langley is a very small community consisting of our Villa, two private homes, the Great House and large acres of farm land situated around the area. The Langley Great House has a beautiful untouched area that is perfect for swimming. This is just 5 minutes from the Villa.

SUVs are preferred if you wish to drive. While cars make it, the roads are windy and very bumpy up the mountain. It is however worth the drive. Suggestions can be made regarding public transport. The manager will arrange transport where needed. Conditions apply.
