“Wonderful Vacation! Amazing home” What a beautiful home and a lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend hiring a car, there is a lot to see and do locally. We went into the town several times and enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. The highlight of our trip was renting a small boat with local fisherman for the day - he took us to Coronado Island where we snorkeled, beachcombed and sunbathed. A really wonderful experience that I highly recommend. The Loreto Bay community is very friendly, although it is an older crowd - 55+ but we had a fun time, being invited to several impromptu happy hours at local homes and enjoying an open mic night at the local wine bar!! A really wonderful vacation - I will be back again for sure!

“Best stay ever!” I had an amazing stay at this Villa! Daniel and his staff were awesome! Maria cooked dinner and breakfast for us which was so tasty! The home was clean and well put together. It had amazing beachfront views, I would definitely stay here again!

“Best holiday ever” Everything was fabulous. The fantastic condo, the beautiful interior, the location couldn't be better. A few steps to the pool and another few steps to the ocean. From the first moment it was breathtaking. Susana and Rebecca, the two marvelous staff, did a absolut best job ever to make us the most delicious food and clean up for us every day. Rosina helped us out with all our questions and fix whatever we asked for without a doubt. We travelled the hole way from Sweden without knowing not more than I read on internet, we could even end up on the beach without a condo just cheated ( who knows this days?) I can honestly say I had very high expectations, and for once, ALL my expectations was fullfilled with the highest score. How can I describe a place like this, all the beauty you see with your eyes, all the comfort your body can feel all the things you can do, the beachclubs, the experiences with the fab company Puerto Vallarta adventures and so on..... I can do the list so long. We didn't have time to do evertything we really wanted to because we were so pleased and satisfied to stay at the condo. We had it all there. The only thing I could complain is the 2 last nights there , we stayed for 11 nights, we had some neighbor called and complained at us that we were noisy. Yes, we were laughing and talking, we were 11 persons( we had some friends living in another hotel there on visit) at the terass and playing cards, so naturally our voices was loud. But the clock was before 9 in the evening, it was a friday and the same on saturday. Of course we stop and go to bed, but this incident was the only thing I could complain. We were so lucky that we had better neighbors the rest of the days, otherwise it could destroy the hole vacation. I mean, if you stay in a condo with other people, you must like people and accept they are living around you. If it's a big party nighttime, I fully accept it's not acceptable, but before 9 and just having a good time, not a party, it's too much. Maybe you better stay alone in a private vila without close neighbors. Except this, which I already forgotten by now, this was the best holiday ever with family and good friends celebrating my 50 years anniversary. From my heart: I will thank you Mike, to let us stay in your absolutely most stunning place, with light beautiful energies and everything that comes with that ;)

“Well maintained, quality furnished condo with very helpful owner.” We have stayed in several different condos @ Sapphire Beach in several different price ranges. John's is by far the best maintained despite it not being the highest end priced. It also has a great bar/eating area on the lower deck. Renting from John is like renting from a friend or family member. There were no surprises from John other than I had over paid without realizing & he contacted me to let me know he was sending me a check.

“A week of tropical relaxation!” Ivan, We have been home nearly 2 weeks now but find ourselves still thinking and talking about what a wonderful time we had. We found the condo exceptional. The attention to detail in the condo was impressive. That along with the beautiful view from the condo and the great location of the condo on the property made it truly seem like the perfect accommodation. A short 4 minute walk to the beach or another short 5-6 minute walk to the Mariner Restaurant and two larger pools. We cannot say enough about the staff of the Fishing Lodge. It seemed they went out of their way to anticipate our every need. Delicious food, entertainment, cleanliness, hospitality and excellent service along with the beauty of the condo and resort provided us with a very memorable vacation. We hope to visit again. “Great Place!” My husband and I, had a great time at this condo. It was well maintained and perfect for our family. Having the pool close by on the ground floor was perfect for my kids and Claudia at the reception was incredibly helpful. I really appreciated all the help Tony provided prior to the trip. We referenced his helpful tips and recommendations throughout the trip and it really enhanced our vacation experience. We would definitely stay here again.

“Super Friendly” Great folks running this place. They really give the home town experience with amenities of a major hotel. This property is right next to a beautiful lake. The options are great for either the relaxed weekend or if you want to water skiing or out on a boat to fish it is all there. Really pleased with vacation this has turned into and relaxation is the key!

“The Captain's Suite makes an already wonderful place even better” My Wife and I returned to Provo after 15 years, and we knew that we wanted a beachfront suite. There are plenty to choose from, but we quickly zeroed in on The Captain's Suite. It is very nicely appointed, and the view from the balcony is lovely. There is no checking in process, as you already have your key. After a hectic day of travel, that's hard to beat. There is also a very modern supermarket near by. Lastly, Will is very easy to deal with, and communication was always prompt. We would both enthusiastically recommend The Captain's Suite.

“Great Nosara experience” nice 2 bed 2 bath villa with large tables inside and on patio. Tile throughout with a full kitchen. there are about a dozen villas in the woods but they are pretty private because of the layout. heavily wooded area off the road. rooms are clean and the villass feel very safe. about 1/2 mile waalk to the beach or short car ride. great mile long beach big waves for surfing and a large sandbar for beginners. Nosara fishing is great and they pick you up right at the villa. this is a thumbs up.

“The Best of Costa Rica!” This was my second visit to Villa Encantada! After the first visit in 2010, my daughter decided this was the place to get married! We returned with a group of 30+. The bridal party(14) stayed at the Villa and Glenn helped to place the rest of us in properties close by, including his sister's house up the hill. The whole event could not have been better! Let me say that Glenn is a great guy and incredible host! If you want to experience the best of Costa Rica, stay with Glenn at the Villa! The grounds are as beautiful as the pictures indicate and you can be entertained right on the property. The Tabacon Lodge and Skywalk at Volcanoes National Park are under one hour drive. Shopping and dining in Nuevo Arenal has a true Tico feel and much better than dealing with the big tourist towns. Pura Vida! Thank you Glenn!

“"At home" In Polhena” Our family is spread across the globe, separated by time and space. Twice a year we all need to be together. The house in Polhena was perfect for our reunion. We loved the outdoor living and dining "rooms" in a gorgeous and very spacious garden setting, surrounded by green, and with the rhythm of the pounding surf as background music. We love to cook, and even though the indoor kitchen is very spacious, we moved the gas stove into the "outdoor kitchen" and even did our meal preparation outdoors. There were six of us, and the young people had the three bedrooms in the house, very comfortable, each with its own bath and door to the garden outside. My wife and I stayed in the "little house" in the corner of the garden, with its own bath, kitchen and terrace. It has a very large bedroom with an extra bed in it. The entire villa could easily support two families, 10 persons, or 4 couples. There is no air conditioning, but the fact is, we spent most of our time outdoors except for sleeping. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and at the end of December, that was just fine. The house is on the sea, at the end of a dirt road, no other development around it, so it was very isolated and very quiet. We took tuk-tuks into town to do our grocery shopping, and to the fish market every morning for fresh fish, squid, shrimp, and lobster. Everything we needed was available in town. Spectacular beaches like Mirissa and Talalla are also within tuk-tuk distance and we enjoyed those on most days. We were able to rent a van and driver to go farther afield to explore the country, Galle, for example. If you are expecting a five star resort, this is not it. No one brings you breakfast or washes your dishes. But, if you are looking for a home away from home, an exotic setting, a house with character and charm where you can spend time with family or friends without disturbances of any kind, this is for you!
