“Excellent place to stay in colombo” We stayed in this apartment at the beginning and end of our trip to Sri Lanka and it worked out brilliantly. Booking was really easy as the owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. The apartment itself has got everything you need and is of a really high standard. The roof top pool was the real highlight for our family. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves and the views over the city are fabulous, especially when it is all lit up at night. The location of the apartment is also very good as it is very central for sightseeing. I would highly recommend this apartment. Great facilities and for us much better and cheaper than a hotel.

“What a find - Amazing villa” Having been to Sri Lanka many times we were just amazed when we arrived. Set in beautiful secure grounds with a tennis court and beautiful pool the villa was more than we could imagine. It is huge so for 4 adults and 2 kids ample room. Pushpa the cook provided us with amazing Sri Lankan cuisine and could not do enough for us. Mr T was lovely offering us advice on any given thing. We had our own vehicle but used the driver to direct us to local temples, elephant rides, food markets. The kids loved playing outside and stroking Nangi the dog. When they were exhausted they could relax watching satellite tv with kids shows in the upstairs lounge room. The photos here show you a fraction of the villa there is much more to it. “Modern, Comfortable and Clean apartment in Safe Building/Area” I'm an american graduate student and I stayed in this apartment for two months while interning with the UN. This was overall a very good rental experience. The apartment is modern, clean and comfortable with a very nice, Western-style kitchen and a washing machine. It is beautifully decorated. I felt very safe as a woman living alone and coming and going to the apartment even at night - its located in a safe and quiet area and the security staff who are on duty 24-7 are very professional (unlike the place I lived before this rental where the security guards would try to flirt with me or ask for money). The two full bathrooms were very clean and modern with hot water. The main living area has aC and only one of the two bedrooms has aC, so that may be an issue if you need two aC bedrooms (which I didn't). The landlord was very responsive and provided a cleaning service every two weeks or so and provided clean bed linen. The only problem I had with the apartment is that there was no internet. The landlord did provide a dongle, which I appreciated, but it was not very adequate if you do a lot of Skyping or streaming videos online. That's the only reason I'm giving the apartment four stars instead of five, since I use the internet a lot and that issue could be a bit frustrating. The rental price, though more than I was expecting for Colombo, seems to be in line with similar rentals in the area (and less expensive than similar apartments in Colombo 3). The building is pretty quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed living here overall and would recommend it to others.

“A peaceful and convenient place to all amenities. Enjoyed our st” The service we received was very mediocre. We had to request for various things, e.g. water, linen and towels. Security was very helpful. The apartment is a spacious, quiet and peaceful place. The en-suites in each room was a great feature, there was enough room to entertain family and relations. The location is the most convenient, which is close to the Supermarket,Restaurants and Pastry Shops to suit once palate; and public transport to anywhere in Colombo from this location is great. Having a public & private hospital in the area was also convenient. What we liked best was the location and convenience of the apartment. Without any hesitation we would recommend Uniwick apartments to anyone looking for accommodation. We have already mentioned to our friends who intend travelling to Sri Lanka in the near future.
