“Great place!” Amazing and comfortable small cottage! Everything you needed is there so you don't have to worry about anything. It's close to the highway, but the trees and bushes are hiding it so you don't realy see it! Would recommend it!

“Quintessential Cape Cod beach house - yes, the one in your dream” I stayed at this adorable beach house in august of 2011, my first time to beautiful Cape Cod. I could not have imagined it more perfectly; this little cottage is nestled right in the sand, bare foot steps on the beach. Its the perfect size for a couples retreat or a small family. You will feel worlds away from reality in this cozy and comfortable cottage. We enjoyed a fire on the beach, a stroll into East Sandwich for breakfast, many hours lounging in the sun and playing in the sand-bottomed surf. I still dream of this house, and it will always hold a special place in my traveling memories, for it was far too perfect for words. Thank you Jay and Gretchen for sharing your slice of heaven!

“Great place to stay and play” A great place to stay for a vacation on Cape Cod. The rooms were comfortable and of good size. There was a relaxing atmosphere and all the comforts of home. Plenty of games and videos for adults and kids and a large screen TV. Parking was ample and easy to come and go. The kitchen was more than expected. The back yard and spacious rear deck and furnishings made outdoor meals and barbecuing a pleasure. I especially liked the covered outdoor shower (with hotwater) to wash away beach sand and ocean salt. Speaking of ocean salt, the beach is just a short walk away.

“It was great to be near the beach.” Lovely cottage that was perfect for a family of four. The kids enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. The cottage had everything (kitchen stuff, beach chair, BBQ, etc.). The town of Sandwich is a quiet location.

“Cute!” My week at Beachland 14 was terrific. Cottage was very cute and very well equipped which was important to me. Spent every day at the seashore which was just across the road. Fab weather always helps. Will return if the finances allow.

“Very enjoyable” The house was nice and cozy. A bit small. I would suggest that trash can bags for the outside trash can are provided set of sheets and towels. Washer and dryer would be a great plus for families with kids, particularly. The proximity to the beach was very convenient and that was very nice. All the houses were very close to each other and our kids loved that because they made a new friend, but in terms of privacy that was not ideal. All together, we had a wonderful time and great memories.

“Perfect for a small family” This house was very clean, we'll furnished and newly renovated. It is an adorable cottage and in a great location. It is a quick walk to Sea street beach and Sundae School ice cream (so you don't have to worry about parking). It was on a quiet little side street so there was no noise or traffic. The bedrooms are small but reasonable for four people especially if any of those are kids. It was just us and our two year old and it was a perfect size. It has a sweet little screened in porch, little back deck and small yard. There is an outside shower which was great and it had hot water. It is a duplex so if your neighbors are noisy it could be a problem but ours were fine. It does only have a double bed or a trundle with twins. So be ready to adjust if you are used to sleeping in something larger or need to for size (my husband and I are both fairly tall). We would happily rent here again and highly recommend it!

“Wonderful house” The house was as advertised. Beautiful and clean. Kitchen was updated as was bathrooms. Central air and wi-fi were a huge plus. Nice size deck and large 4 burner gas grill in the yard. Property was central to everything. Close to 134 and 28 but just off the main roads on a dead end which made it nice and quiet. Very close to Patriot Square shopping center which was very convenient. Just a few minutes by car to West Dennis beach. Only drawback would be that there are not 2 full baths (house has 1.5 baths). However, I would definitely stay here again.

“Very pleasant and relaxing” We stay in this house every summer for last 6+ years, usually for 2 weeks period. We absolutely love the house and the yard. It has everything we are looking for - private master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher, high speed internet connection(!), modern TV, landline phone. Everything is in working order. Location is very convenient - you can walk to all local beaches and convenient stores - yes there are sidewalks!
