“Very cute condo close to beach” I stayed at 194 Captain Chase #8 for a week in August 2015. The condo is very cute and spacious. What I liked best: Location, location location! I love Dennis Port - you are centrally located and it isn't far for a ride up to Provincetown, Chatham, or Hyannis. You are close to the Bay beaches or the National Seashore.There are plenty of restaurants (that you can order out from), pizza places, the Dog House and Sundae School (for ice cream) is right up the road. Glendon Road Beach is a very short walk so making the trek with chairs, a cooler, and a beach bag was not an issue. (and you save yourself a parking fee). The Del Ray Beach Club is very quiet which I liked and after a day at the beach, relaxing by the pool was very nice. The condo was very cute and just like the pictures. The bedroom is very spacious; plenty of room to hang your clothes. Having two bathrooms was wonderful. The living area is also spacious. We had one of the couches made into a bed the entire stay - but still had another couch to sit on to watch TV. The owner has provided some board games, DVD's, and books - even two beach chairs! It was hot the entire week so we made use of the air conditioning. My only issue during the week was trying to cook on the stove. I set off one of the smoke/fire alarms and it took awhile for them to stop beeping. I ended up not using the stove the rest of the week. Overall this rental is ideal spot for a week out at the Cape. I recommend it for a couple, or a couple with young children.

“great spot” Have stayed here every year for about 30 years! My parents rented it when I was young.Very nice cottage-has everything you need.Neat and clean. Great new kitchen!Great location. Close to Nauset Beach at the ocean and various boat launch sites if you need them. Also w/in 10 minutes from Skaket Beach and Rock Harbor on the Bay.

“Great place to stay and play” A great place to stay for a vacation on Cape Cod. The rooms were comfortable and of good size. There was a relaxing atmosphere and all the comforts of home. Plenty of games and videos for adults and kids and a large screen TV. Parking was ample and easy to come and go. The kitchen was more than expected. The back yard and spacious rear deck and furnishings made outdoor meals and barbecuing a pleasure. I especially liked the covered outdoor shower (with hotwater) to wash away beach sand and ocean salt. Speaking of ocean salt, the beach is just a short walk away.

“Great!” We've rented this home for several years as a family. It's comfortable and airy. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood, and close to the beaches. Plenty of room for our annual family clam bake. My husband is not much of a beach person so he really enjoys the screened in porch and the open deck. The owner updates something every year and keeps the property in wonderful condition,

“We had a relaxing vacation in a comfortaable cottage.” Rented this property for the third year from Martha Murray. We were somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. Spent a short time doing what the cleaners should have taken care of. We decided not to make Martha Murray aware until we checked out. They said they would have had someone come to clean, which I am confident they would have. We have always been pleased with their service. The cottage is very comfortable, has air conditioning which was very appreciated. The location is great. Close to the river, beaches and restaurants. Would definitely rent from Martha Murray again.

“Week of complete relaxation.” My husband and I absolutely loved this house. It was set back from the road and had pine trees on it (which is what my husband wanted). It is the perfect place for either 2 people or a small family. I could find nothing wrong with this house!

“Great house and stay” We had a great week at this cottage. It was clean, cozy and functional. I scoffed at the central air...but then we had a heatwave and I was loving it. A few quirks-- the outdoor shower doesn't have a drain...so it's a bit of a messy puddle situation every shower and the indoor shower window was a little moldy and wet from constantmy being wet. But those were small things compared to a long list of good stuff. Walk to the beach, walk to Woolfies for muffins...what more could you ask for?!

“Perfect for a small family” This house was very clean, we'll furnished and newly renovated. It is an adorable cottage and in a great location. It is a quick walk to Sea street beach and Sundae School ice cream (so you don't have to worry about parking). It was on a quiet little side street so there was no noise or traffic. The bedrooms are small but reasonable for four people especially if any of those are kids. It was just us and our two year old and it was a perfect size. It has a sweet little screened in porch, little back deck and small yard. There is an outside shower which was great and it had hot water. It is a duplex so if your neighbors are noisy it could be a problem but ours were fine. It does only have a double bed or a trundle with twins. So be ready to adjust if you are used to sleeping in something larger or need to for size (my husband and I are both fairly tall). We would happily rent here again and highly recommend it!

“We had an extremely enjoyable stay.” Our family enjoyed the rental property. Especially noteworthy was the large family room with a breakfast bar. The recommendations for restaurants left by the owners was very helpful. We liked the accessibility to numerous Dennis beaches. Air-conditioning throughout the home, especially the large family room, would be a nice addition. We were very pleased with our visit to Cape Cod.

“Wonderful house” The house was as advertised. Beautiful and clean. Kitchen was updated as was bathrooms. Central air and wi-fi were a huge plus. Nice size deck and large 4 burner gas grill in the yard. Property was central to everything. Close to 134 and 28 but just off the main roads on a dead end which made it nice and quiet. Very close to Patriot Square shopping center which was very convenient. Just a few minutes by car to West Dennis beach. Only drawback would be that there are not 2 full baths (house has 1.5 baths). However, I would definitely stay here again.

“Great location, cute cottage” We had a very nice stay. Wonderful location for younger kids. Walk to calm beach with lots of kids same age to play with. Yard is nicely shaded. Relatively quiet dead end street for riding bikes.
