“Convienent and relaxing getaway.” This house was clean and had everything you could need and more. The backyard was private and a bonus for a relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning or evening. The neighborhood was quiet. It was close to everything. We would highly recommend.

Pied-à-Terre on Jackson

Cape May apartment

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 6

“Perfect Stay at Pied-a-Terre” We stayed at the Pied-a-Terre the weekend before Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the suite! We were looking for a place to stay that offered warmth, charm, and Victorian decoration but didn't want a bed and breakfast. This suite was just perfect. It was beautifully decorated, warm and cozy. It was plenty roomy for my husband and myself and two teenagers. Because we were there for such a short stay, we didn't get a chance to use all the amenities that it offered such a the large, fully equipped kitchen (loved the bar and barstools!) and old fashioned tub. We did get to use the umbrellas (great idea to have them). The house itself is beautiful and the location is best in town! They even had on sight parking! Both the owner and the realtor were friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Cottage in Town 6032

Cape May house

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Convenient and Clean” I am giving this cottage a 5 star rating based on value and convenience. This is not an expensive lease, so I did't expect a lot. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and amenities of this cozy cottage. all appliances were fairly new and in good shape. There is a large screen TV. All fixtures, furniture, and carpeting were in good shape. Bedding was adequate. The kitchen and bathroom are in good shape. What I really liked about the cottage was the proximity to Cape May attractions. It's about one block from the Commons, and a short walk to some other fun things like mini golf and restaurants. We never had to drive anywhere within Cape May proper. Just be aware that it's along the main thoroughfare. There may be more activity then you'd like if your looking for a quiet remote spot. but it didn't bother us much. Also, it's a number of blocks from the beach, so we had to drive to get there. We drove to the north end of the beach and had no problem finding parking. I actually didn't want to give this cottage a high rating because I'm hoping it will be available when it comes time to make reservations in the future.

“Perfect cottage to make wonderful family memories!” We loved the way your every need and recreation was anticipated by the owners. The cottage is impeccably clean, which is a pleasure for me as a nurse who's job is in infection control. I felt my small grandchildren were safe on the quiet street, and every book , games and videos were supplied. The appliances are super, and I love the way the owners left an orientation book, thinking of everything! We would love to return next year, and glad to hear of the expansion of another bathroom. Next visit I'll know how easy it is to pack and leave to a second home we all love.

“Our april anniversary Getaway was a great stay!!” We are very thankful for opening the unit up for us this early. It made a special weekend for us both. It's nice to have a real place to stay instead of a small hotel room. Really enjoy the nautical decorations. Would just wish the bed wasn't so firm.

“Excellent location in pretty Victorian across from the beach” The condo was adorable with upgraded amenities. New kitchen and bathroom, comfy queen size beds, spacious LR with cable and wifi. Right across the hall from the W/D. Was a "sisters" vacation and our old bones appreciated the abbreviated walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our coffee every morning in the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch while we people watched and listened to the ocean. The parking space and elevator make like very easy for arrival and departure. The other tenants were friendly, the landscaping was so pretty and the entire house and grounds were spotless. Highly recommended!

About Cape May

The vibe around Cape May is romantic and quaintly Victorian, a holdover from a bygone era before amusement parks and boardwalk arcades. Here you can find some of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in the state. The streets in Cape May are lined with relaxed verandas, laid back boutiques, and unpretentiously delicious seafood restaurants. The coast is the home of several preserved migratory bird refuges and a distinguished old lighthouse open to visitors. Climb to the top and experience stunning views of the coast and the Atlantic Ocean. Whales are frequent visitors just off the Cape May shore, and the salt marshes are home to horseshoe crabs, red knots, plovers, and many fragile species of sea grasses and elusive wildlife. Come here to search them out, explore the museums, enjoy the beachy nightlife, or just relax in a luxury spa.

Here are a few suggested things to do and see in Cape May:

  • Tour the Emlen Physick Estate: Stroll the grounds, gallery, shop, and restaurant of this 1879 Victorian House Museum, the only one of its kind in Cape May.
  • Visit the Naval Air Station Aviation Museum in Wildwood: Learn more about our nation's military history as you explore this aviation museum housed in a preserved Navy hangar.
  • Visit the Cape May Nature Center: Go kayaking, bird watching, or hike the trails at this nature center dedicated to conservation and environmental education.
  • Go on an eco-tour: Learn about native plants and wildlife on a guided tour of the salt marshes and fragile ecosystems around Cape May and Wildwood Crest.
  • Enjoy the beach: Surf, sunbathe, go parasailing, or take a chartered fishing or whale watching tour from one of several marinas around the cape.
  • Play a round of golf: Visit the Cape May National Golf Club or any of the beautifully manicured and challenging courses in the area.

No matter how you plan to spend your vacation, you'll need a place to stay. Even if you wait until the last minute, you can still find a beautiful vacation rental in Cape May that offers everything you're looking for. Consider renting a stylish condo with easy access to the best Cape May night spots, a beach house big enough to host your family and friends, or a secluded summer cottage close the shore for a romantic getaway.

Great location! Second and third floor bedrooms were a little warm. Ceiling fans or additional window air conditioners, as well as storage for clothes in the third floor bedroom would make it the perfect place! The house is lovely and we enjoyed our stay. … see more
Elegant Cape May Condo
Quaint and convenient condo close to everything in Cape May!

100 Jefferson Street, in Cape May was a cozy respite for our getaway to the shore. The unit is close to all the major Cape May attractions -- only a block from the beach and a fifteen minute (0.8 mile) walk to the popular Washington Street Mall with its many shops and eateries. The condo had all the amenities we expected, but also a few unexpected -- especially the great gas-fired old-fashioned corner stove that provided heat, charm, and intimacy. We greatly appreciated the off-road parking although such an amenity would certainly be of more value in the summer beach season! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the value we obtained from our investment in a stay at 100 Jefferson Street in Cape May. We hope to do it again.see more
Gorgeous Victorian on Beautiful Property - w/ 4 season room!
lovely house, great location, nice owners

We booked a weekend stay in December at this lovely Victorian Home. The house has 3 bedrooms on the second floor and 2 on the third. the third floor bedrooms (two twins in each room) are a little chilly on cold winter nights unless you run the space heaters (not a big deal for us). Also the house has 3 bathrooms but they have to winterize one so you really only have access to 2 of them in December (one on the second floor and one off the 3 season porch) but the owner does advertise this. The one on the first floor is very nice and recently renovated, but you have to walk a f÷ steps thru an unheated porch to get to it ...and remember to keep the door closed at all times so that it stays warm. The rest of the house was very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was clean, well organized and well stocked. The coffee table holds lots of puzzles and games. We got a lot of snow while we were there so did a couple of the puzzles. Neighborhood felt very safe and we never heard any loud neighbors. Was easy to park in front of house. Also was conveniently close to two good (both BYOB) restaurants that we could walk to in the snow. Owners were extremely accomodating and after the snow we woke to a shovelled sidewalk and salted path and they left a bag of salt in case we needed more. My family loved it and we would definitely stay here again.see more

Perfect family retreat in Cape May

The location, condition, amenities of this house were just great. Our family of five, including a grandma, found the house to be a nice fit size-wise. We loved that it was just a 3-minute walk down a nice and quiet street to the Bay where the kids could pick up pebbles and shells. At the same time it took us only 4-5 minute drive to the beach and Washington street. The house itself was in like new condition: newer furniture, new comfortable mattresses, renovated kitchen. It was well supplied with all essentials. Even beach chairs and an umbrella were kindly stocked in the shed. The backyard was perfect for family meals. But our favorite feature was definitely the outdoor shower. What a great pleasure was to take a shower under the blue sky with pine trees around and a feel of the gentle summer breeze touching the skin. Just one thing would make this house even better - central air conditioning. Window A/Cs were kind off annoying during the night, but we figured out that we could sleep switching them off just under the ceiling fans. Overall impression of the house was great. And we would definitely recommend it to our friends or rent it next time we go to Cape May.see more

We had a lovely week in Cape May at this condo. Location and accommodations were superb. Only recommend adding Wi-Fi and mattress replacement in the double bedroom. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and hope to visit your condo once again. Thank you! … see more
