“Wonderful stay!” We had a wonderful trip and the apartment was even better than we expected. We had no trouble getting ahold of Sonja when we arrived and she was ready and waiting for us after our taxi arrived. The apartment was very clean, very well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Really like a home away from home although the apartment is slightly larger than our house so we reveled in the extra space! We spent the first week mostly hanging around Speightstown, going to the beach a lot and exploring the town. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning; it was wonderful to sit outside and watch the waves. Our son especially loved to stand on the balcony and watch the cars go by (go figure). We did have to rearrange some of the decorations to be out of his reach, but that was a minor thing and I think I put everything back in its proper place. :) The beach was very nice and private; we were the only people using it the vast majority of the time we went down there. All the rocks and coral did make it a little hard to wade with our two year old but we did find some nice sandy spots and he had fun going out a little deeper with us holding him. We spent the second week renting a car and exploring more of the island and found that Speightstown was a very good base for going to most of the attractions that we wanted to see like the wildlife reserve and animal Flower Cave. Overall, we had an excellent trip and would recommend Barbados, and this apartment, to anyone seeking a fun and relaxing family vacation.

“4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “The best place in Rio!” I stayed at Jane's beautiful apartment in Ipanema with my wife in Feb 2013 and it was the most perfect & luxurious apartment you could hope for. The apartment was spacious with nice modern decoration inside. The pool and the view from the pool is probably the best on the strip! Jane was so helpful from the moment we agreed to stay, months before our trip, always providing us with helpful info about the apartment and Rio in general. “Perfect for our family of 14 - ages 1 through 65.” This was our first experience renting a house during a family vacation. It was absolutly wonderful. Patricia was so helpful and patient with all of my question which were often and many. The house was big enough to hold us all and give us places to share together playing cards and talking and places to retreat as needed. We were close to things we needed like the grocery store. There was a bus stop in front of the house and many others within walking distance. We had three cars and a small U-Haul and all could be parked at the house free. The drive to the metro was a pleasant one. I would recommend this house to anyone taking their family to the Washington DC area. Thanks Patricia for everything!

“the time of our lives!” i've stayed in many places in jamaica and other parts of the caribbean and the world - hotels, villas, apartments, resorts etc etc etc. - but no place - not one, made me feel the way sevilla did. we were at home. we were so well taken care of. orchestrated by the owner, Clare, and the joy she exudes in making everything and i mean everything, just right, just so, for us - and Monica the chef cooked us three meals a day which we had requested. (she'll cook anything for you - but we requested authentic jamaican) and wow - for the cost which was minimal, we had top notch fine dining meals daily - we didn't have to ever leave the premises except to walk down to the private beach at our leisure. We were able to have a real restful and productive vacation - like we were in a cocoon of sorts - safe peaceful secure and happy. that's the atmosphere Clare and her impeccable staff provide - and we're going back at our first opportunity and i suspect every year thereafter. simply beautiful.

“Most amazing vacation and service I've ever had” There are so many wonderful things to say about this vacation its hard to consolidate it down :) The house is absolutely amazing. Each bedroom is special and unique and the outdoor living space is more than we could dream of. Hio and Nadine were our chefs and housekeepers and I couldn't say anything better about those two - they made the most delicious food, helped us with any favors or questions we had, and probably made too many trips to the grocery store (and liquor store!) than usual for us! Robert was awesome as the groundskeeper - as soon as it started raining (which probably lasted 5 minutes the entire trip) he would appear out of thin air to get the outdoor seat cushions out of the rain. We had such a great time and it was my husband and mine's first time bringing our friends - its a different kind of vacation, much more authentic and cultural than most are used to so we were a little nervous about how they would like it but everyone agreed - this vacation was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more relaxing, private, and less touristy vacation spot.

“An easy breezy fun vacation!” We just returned home from an 8 day visit to Portugal staying at this beautiful villa,the ease of the vacation started even before we went, with regular emails from the owner answering all our questions about the house/area and also info on best car rental deals etc. Upon arrival I was very impressed with this beautiful modern and spotless clean house, we were met by the housekeeper, who assured us she was only a phone call away should we need anything. The house has all the mod cons you would desire,big spacious bedrooms with ensuite,fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room area and english channels on TV! laundry room in basement complete with washer dryer ironing board etc. The location is also fab, walking distance to the "strip" but just enough away that you don't have to deal with the noise that may come from tourist having a good time in the bars etc, loads of lovely restaurants, bars shops etc, and an amazing beach not too far away either. we went on some fab day trips to Fatima, Lisbon, jeep safari, all day boat trip and more, they are all very affordable and worth the money. Old town is another beautiful place to spend the day, stop for dinner at one of the fab restaurants overlooking the beach, then go to bullfight on way home, a great way to spend your day! I enjoyed everything about this vacation and I can't wait to return, portuguese people are some of the friendliest ppl i have ever met, can't imagine anyone not enjoying a stay here, oh and did I mention the pool right outside the patio door, and also the bar-b-que grill if u fancy a few steaks for dinner. If your idea of a vacation is sun, sand, great food, exciting trips, relaxing by the pool, value for your money, then this place is for you!!!

“serene, secluded gem” We have just returned from a wonderful vacation at Unit 12, Sunrise Beach Villas owed by John Fitzsimmons, on Paradise Island. This property is beautiful with a great patio looking out to the beautiful pool, and ocean. It was a very quiet area, and secluded feel, but close to everything. We could walk to the ferry, Marina Village which was beautiful, groceries, liquor stores, and atlantis. The ocean was calm and warm and our part of the beach was not crowded. I will definately recommend his units to my friends, and also thank you John for being so helpful.

“Little slice of paradise” Incredible food. Perfect beach. Professional, talented staff. Great house -- comfortable, classy and laid back, all at the same time. Me and a few friends rented the villa for four days in February, and we had not a single complaint. If you are looking for a low key beach vacation, away from crowds and hubbub, this is a wonderful spot to consider. I can't think of a single complaint. Oh, and the view from the SkyLounge -- exceptional.

“Paradise” From the minute you step foot on the property you are pampered an made to feel like family. The staff reads your mine an are on top of every little detail, I don't want to forget anyone so I will tell you only a few from, Chris our friend in charge, Ramon our bartender/hero, Frank our chef, Sandy our go to gal, Rosa massages, Meriela our pedicure, Pepito an crew are just outstanding. You pick when you eat, sleep, swim, party, then the beach bon fire an band, dancing with staff, variety of food for meals, you couldn't possibly want for anything. All I can say if you do, it's not because of the Sunrise Villa or staff for sure........We were in the Presidente villa an have to say it was the best accommodations I have ever been in on a vacation.....Please treat yourself an find out for yourself.......
