“Retired” Our visit to Galveston was enjoyable but what made the vacation even more enjoyable was the fantastic beach house which was really only one half block from the beach. The house had everything that was needed to make yourself feel at home. All amenities were on hand and if you needed anything, the owner, Brenda, was available for every request. She went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Brenda.

“Complete Perfection” The house was perfect, spacious and comfortable. We had a great time as did all of our guests. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the broken blind in the sunroom which unfortunately left a direct line from another houses security light straight to the bed. Easy fix. We loved it and hope to come back next year!

“I had such an amazing time at Hattie's Place, Too, I will never” Hattie's Place, Too was just what the doctor ordered, seriously. After a family tragedy, I needed to get away. I loved Galveston as a child and thought of how happy I was there. I did not want to stay in hotel and really wanted some privacy. On a whim I called Hattie's Place and the owner, Deborah answered, I explained I needed to get away, just needed some down time. She was so warm and personable, I shared more than I had planned. When I arrived, I felt I was greeted by a friend. The accommodations definitely did not disappoint me. There is a certain charm and warmth that was very soothing to my soul. The thing I liked the least is that I had to leave. When I am in Galveston again, I plan a longer stay at my home away from home. Thank you, Deborah for your kindness.

“Finally able to relax.” Friendly helpful service. Very Clean, comfortable and fully functional. Felt secure. Close to elevators, close to pool but still for enough away for a little privacy.No traffic noise. High enough for great view of the gulf through the palms, but close enough to the ground for a beach experience instead of nose bleed. Some may say the kitchen might need an update but the pictures are accurate. We were fine with it.

“Well kept, great pools and location, owner responsive” The condos look a little dusty from the parking area, but walking into the unit it was immediately apparent that the owner cares about his property and takes great care of it. It is really nice - updated, immaculate, and has all kinds of extras - filters for the coffee pot, oil to cook with, and sugar/Sweet and Low, a spice rack etc. All the interior details go together and you really feel at home. The bed linens are nice quality and soft. I couldn't figure out the wifi and BluRay and had to call the owner, he responded immediately and was very patient and helpful and got me set up. I would definitely rent from him again. The pools here are great!! The Waterfall one that the unit looks down on has a deep end of 5+ft, the other one has shallow incline for little kids and a great Rain Mushroom thing in the pool that the kids loved. Also, there is a security guard at night that watches who comes in the gates. He clears out the pools at 10p nightly so there are no raucous pool parties. Awesome experience, thanks for sharing, Mr. Juneau - And PS - the door lock is digital and it was GREAT not having to keep up with a key/card in the ocean. There's also a locking safe -

“Well maintained property and convenient location!!!” This property is pretty good for a nice getaway to Galveston; it is within walking distance to the beach, Pier 21, city park and restaurants. You can have it all without having to walk or drive far. This home is nice and well equipped; basically, you only need to bring your enthusiasm and good vibes to have a great time. Owners were always easy to reach and willing to answer any questions that we might have. I definitely will book this property again!!!

“The Watermelon House” My family and I feel in love with the watermelon house! The house was in a great location! The house was clean, will -kept, and the AC system worked well! The house provided everything we needed and more which I was impressed with! The owner was always available and the check-in and out instructions were easy! Beautiful house! “Beach house perfection!” We had such an amazing stay at pelican perch in June! The house was beautiful, the pictures were completely accurate, the beach was just up the road, we could not have asked for more. Our group of 6 stayed quite comfortably and the kitchen made it so much easier to save money on this trip and have the ability to make meals there, which we did quite frequently. If you get the chance you have to stay at this adorable beach house! We will never stay at a hotel when we are visiting the ocean again.

“Wonderful” Denise was absolutely fantastic, easily accessible and accommodating. The condo was more than I expected, located directly across from the beach and near the main attractions and restaurants.
