“Home away from home” I own my own business, so any time away is especially precious. Kilkelly's West Wing Cottage was the perfect fit. Unlike the institutional feel of a hotel room, the West Wing is like a home away from home. Immediately, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well kept. The rooms were equipped with every possible item anyone would need, even a tea kettle and grill accessories for the gas grill. The commercial like ice maker was an unexpected surprise. They even provided a small cooler for day trips. Normally in a hotel room, I am loathe to touch anything and notice the dirt and traces of previous guests. Immediately you can see how clean and welcoming the West Wing is - I had no hesitation using any of the amenities. We are very picky travelers and the West Wing exceeded our expectations. The breakfast casserole was so good I even got the recipe! There are several televisions with satellite, DVD, Blue-Ray, etc - available but we never even turned them on. It was so relaxing enjoying the sunrise, sunset and mountain views, we had no need for the outside world. We would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend the West Wing! :)

“We had a wonderful experience and appreciated having a spotless,” Two big thumbs up for a memorable, unique vacation! We had the best time seeing a lot of sights and experiencing the various area attractions. The Blue Ridge Mountains wrapped in early morning fog were almost ethereal in their beauty, and staying in such a lovely, homey cabin was truly a joy. The cabin was welcoming and cozy in every way -- clean, very well kept, and so comfortable. The scenery was breathtaking from the rocking chairs on the wraparound deck. Although we did not use the hot tub, it was available for us to enjoy. Our entire stay there was a delight, a welcome and warm haven after the harsh Wisconsin winter. “The View Really is Amazing” We originally rented another cabin, but our reservation was cancelled on our way to the Smokies. So, we were in need of another place; and with the help of Trip Advisor, we were lucky to find this cabin. The management/ownership of the cabin was great to deal with and was very helpful. The cabin is in a great location and was easy to find. Within 5 minutes of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, it is perfectly situated. The cabin has three levels and sleeps five comfortably. The cabin has all the amenities you need; is furnished nicely; and was spotless. The hot tub on the deck was great with the wonderful view. No complaints at all. We would stay there again!

“Nice place” Our stay was great. The only draw back was the bathroom eat about three feet next to the bed with no door just a hard curtain type thing. Other than that every thing was great would stay in this cabin again.

“Best cabin we have ever stayed in.” Your cabin was perfect. The perfect size for our family. I loved the screened in area to sit out and listen to the stream. It was so peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was amazing. The only little tiny thing that we found wrong was, there was no charger for the ps3. I imagine someone took it. We definantly will book with you again.

“Relaxing!” We had a wonderful time!The game room was awesome. The cabin was nice and clean. Everything we needed was provided. We live in Hampton Roads, which is very busy and noisy,so to be on top of a mountain,and the only sounds were that of nature was a welcome change. We were very close to Luray Caverns, and the local Food Lion. We spent Saturday hiking in the woods around the cabin. Just loved it! The locals were the epitome of southern hospitality. I highly recommend Old Wagon Lodge. :)

“Perfect cabin” Perfect honeymoon. Best location. Close to restaurants and attractions but up the mountain side in the peace and quiet. Close drive to gattlenburg for more restaurants and attractions. For the nature lovers there are several auto loops to drive thru with lots of pull over stops to hike and see pieces of history as well as wildlife. The cabin was so comfortable it felt like home. Had all the comforts for a long stay. Directions were easy if you just go to the entrance of Dollywood. I hope that we will get another oppertunity to stay at this cabin again, maybe for our anniversary.

“I can NOT rave enough about this place! I look forward to staying again!” We looooooved this property! My review wont do justice for this beautiful, spacious, RELAXING, private estate! The downstairs was the perfect venue for me to accommodate guests at my 25th wedding vow renewal! The ease of having the ceremony and reception all in one place was so stress free! All the wedding guests were in awe of the place!The bathrooms were beautiful and handicapped accessible for my elderly guests.The grandson and other children loved the playground & nursery. The teens loved the pool table. I had more than enough room for my overnight guests to spread out because you are definitely NOT crammed into this place! Lots, lots and lots of room! The huge house, decks and terrace made it easy for people to spread out and enjoy everything. The 2 kitchens was new, large and modern. The master bedroom was very romantic with the gas fireplace. The fireplace in the downstairs grand-room was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. The upstairs fireplace in the living room was cozy. The multiple rocking chairs, bonfire area and huge hottub was the perfect cure for the hustle and bustle of a busy day. All the bedrooms were very roomy. The beds were so comfy and luxurious that one of my guests googled the brand name so they could buy one for their own home. lol At the end of our stay, we honestly hated to leave the tranquility and quiet of the place for the "real world". Ken, Paul, and their wives were so helpful and sweet. They all worked hard on making this property into a HOME that all future guests will enjoy!

“Great location!” We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was comfortable, clean, and warm, which was great since it was New Year's Eve!! It is close to some great local hiking and shopping, like Brasstown Bald, Hiawasee, Appalachian Trail. Perfect for families with kids (young or older).
