“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

“Perfect localtion and great house with a perfect pool.” I'm a rookie at time sharing, but the owner helped me all the way. We saved money by staying here instead of inside Disney. The location was only 10 to 15 minutes for all of the Parks.

“Great Home with plenty of space” My family stayed here to bring in the New Year and we loved it. There was plenty of space and the home was well kept. The pool area great and the open concept upstairs and downstairs was perfect for large groups. The location of the home was close to Disney and other activities. The only thing I would suggest is more cookware. There was not many pots and pans to cook with.

“Spacious and comfortable” Although this was not the home pictured in the photos of the home we chose and thought we were staying, it provided the same spacious and comfortable space needed for a family reunion. The lanai with the pool and hot tub was really nice with amazing sunsets in the evening and moonsets in the early morning. There was a resident Sandhill crane who meandered by for a visit each day. The location of this quiet resort community was pleasantly out of the way of the crowds, yet reasonably convenient to anything you would need or want to do. Our main concern was that we were unable to consistently lock the back sliding glass door and there was no bar to place to lock it. (And, the crumb tray on the toaster was broken.) Other than that, the home was a little tired, but more than adequate. Thank you for a delightful week!

“Superb orlando villa - fantastic family home away from home” This was our first ever booking with HomeAway/VRBO and we were immediately drawn by the description, photos and other reviews on the site for Lakeview House. We decided to go for it (a family of 3 adults, 2 children) and the booking process was seamless - Derek, the owner, was in constant touch and with very useful information ahead of arrival. Although our flight from the UK had a bit of a glitch (meaning we arrived in the dead of night) we found the place without issue. There is always a nagging doubt with 'owner direct' type sites that pictures can be taken to flatter, or camera angles used to conceal. However, this is completely without warrant in this case and I can categorically guarantee that what you see in the pictures is absolutely what you get in real life! Think that wonderful vista over the lake behind Mickey and Minnie framing the fountain is an illusion? Absolutely not, it's that fantastic. Think the pictures of the pool and spa look too good to be true? Well believe it, we enjoyed them to the full. Games room really that capable? Oh yes, my son and I enjoyed the pool table and the air hockey immensely. This villa was perfect, and as travellers a long way from home, it was a joy to stay in. Location was excellent - to the west end of the '192' so great for driving to the parks and in a quiet and tidy residential street. As there is no-one immediately to the right of this villa (there's a small 'inlet' from the lake) there is a 'semi-detached' feel to it which adds to the sense of open-ness and space when out the back. Facilities were superb, kitchen well appointed, TVs everywhere. Missing 'ice hockey' pucks were spotted before we arrived and dealt with proactively - this villa is clearly well managed and Derek gave us a ring mid-stay to check everything was ok. Beds were comfy and air con and fans meant the villa was always a welcome and refreshing haven at the end of tough day in the parks. It was an intense two weeks for us as a family, as we were doing the Disney and Universal 'thing' to the max but the villa was everything we hoped for and more. We whole-heartedly recommend this villa either as a base for doing the Orlando 'Madness' or simply as somewhere to stay 24/7 and soak up the sun quietly. We will certainly return, God-willing, and if you're reading this and tempted to book, go ahead and bon vacances! Thanks you Derek and Julie for sharing your home with us. “Mickey Mouse Hut” Wonderful home. Everything you need for a home away from home. Pool was awesome. More than enough pool towels to use. Home was very spacious. Only complaint I had was it was not enough cookware to use to cook meals enough for a large group. Other than that small gesture, I give it 5 stars. Thanks for letting us share another vacation in Florida in your home.

“Very Good” Nice quite location. It is close to the theme parks and all the family attractions. My family is well pleased with the spacious home, The children and adults are taking full advantage of the pool throughout the entire day prior to leaving the house and upon our return.

“Beautiful Home-Definitely Recommend” This home is an amazing home away from home. Has everything available that you would need. Just bring your clothes and your good to go. Plenty of room and very comfortable seating and sleeping. The screened in pool was a wonderful place to spend some time outdoors without worrying about the insects. The owners are very quick to respond with any questions and are very kind! Very close to amenities and restaurants if you decide to eat out, but the home has a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals!! Not a very far drive from the airport or amusement parks—very conveniently located. Close enough but not to close! We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again if the situations permits. We very much enjoyed our stay!!

“You have to see it...to believe it!!!! :)” My family and I had an AWESOME time at Marbella resorts!!! This was my first time booking through TripAdvsior and I must admit that I was a little skeptical at first (because I was paying an "unknown source!" I even called TripAdvisor to reassure myself that it wan't a scam! John (the owner of the unit) also reassured me that everything was fine! :) Upon arriving at our unit we were blown away with the neighborhood My kids couldn't wait for me to unlock the door and turn off the alarm!!! Their eyes glisten with excitement!!! The unit was GORGEOUS!!! Everyone scrambled to "find their room" while we toured the rest of the house! It was EVERYTHING (and more) that the site listed!!! The pictures did it no justice!!! Although we went to go to Disney the kids felt like staying at the house with their private pool was more enjoyable (and less crowded) ;) I can't thank John and his TripAdvisor for making our 1st family vacation a HUGE SUCCESS!!! We're DEFINITELY gonna make this a yearly thing!! Thanks again!!!
