“Great Family Vacation” Excellent facilities, wonderful staff with extraordinary cook, food exceeded expectations as well as accommodating children's requests. Pool, kayaks and snorkeling gear provided, we took kids fins and goggles. Would not hesitate to return.

“A vacation like no other” We were greeted at the airport by Norman, the most professional driver ever, he made our transition smooth and for a group of 12 adults, that is tough! He had thought of everything - including bringing a second van for our luggage! The staff at the villa greeted us at the door with warm smiles and cool towels, they made sure all our luggage was safely delivered to our rooms and then the fun began! We all stopped and stared at the huge view of the Caribbean Sea spread out in front of us, the breeze, the way the rooms are laid out and the villa itself takes total advantage of that view. We quickly changed, and began the most perfect seven days of nothing but relaxing, laughing and eating punctuated by an occasional sightseeing trip. Derek, the butler completely made the trip, he was attentive, but quiet, helpful but never intrusive - he made us feel so special. Ruby, the cook gave us gormet meals three times a day. We discussed our likes and dislikes the first day and she made it all happen. We did not need to go out to dinner and the one night we went to a lovely restaurant in town, we all agreed that we could have stayed home and eaten at Restaurant Ruby for an even better meal. It is tough to please 12 distinct people, but the staff and managment at Serendipity did just that, from organizing the most incredible massage at the villa, to driving us to out of the way Mayfield Falls, they never stopped working. All the rooms were large and private, we never felt on top of one another, we ate meals in different places, by the pool, in the dining room, on the deck, where ever we felt inspired to eat that day, Derek made it happen. I do not have one bad thing to say - I loved every minute, and would recommend Serendipity to a group like us, a large family, or just a few people that want to get away - It was truly a vacation to remember.

“My stay here was heaven on earth.” My stay on this villa was great. Everything I could imagine and more Food was delicious and authentic; not process or frozen. The master suit where I stayed was immaculate. The power shower to the huge jacuzzi bath. The king size bed made my night rest wonderful. It's felt like I was sleeping on clouds. This villa was hard for me to leave, from pool, xbox, board games and a fantastic pool why must I go outside.(lol). When I decided to go outside it was also a great and wonderful experience. I visited duns river falls, when to the hot spot night club margarita ville, oceans 11, and amnesia. We sang karaoke had great Jamaica drinks and watch the beautiful scenery. All these great attraction only 12mins tops from the villa. However my highlight of the stay is the private beach, only 2min walk from the villa. Great vacation I'm booking another stay for January andirons can't wait...

“LOOK NO FURTHER” Do not look any further! This is the place to be! The Biggs brothers will take really good care of you, and make sure every single need is met. The condo is gigantic, has two floors, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a gazebo patio off the living room, and a HUGE open terrace, on the 2nd floor. Both ensuite bedrooms are on that second level. The upper deck, has a clear view of the Caribbean sea, table and chairs, and pads to sit on. Please bring them inside when you are done, so they stay nice, for others. Its a massive condo, and has a very well stocked kitchen. We cooked dinner twice, but we sure enjoyed our morning Blue mountain coffee, every morning, taking in these VIEWS! WI-FI worked perfectly, there is cable TV for evenings in, and even better, the sound system tunes into IRIE-FM or any station you choose. Harry came to fix a lock and bring us s brand new coffee pot, and he did it immediately! They will not "drag their feet, like other renters. Phillip & Harry were both there to greet us, and help carry in our bags and groceries. The tour was efficient and thorough. The bureau's for your clothes is gorgeous cedar as is the headboard on the bed. There is ample closet space in both bathroom areas, to hang dresses or clothes you do not want wrinkled. Yes, they have an ironing board too, in case that happens. The view is fantastic, and one day, a cruise ship came in, and we had front row seats. June has less cruise ships, so that is the time, to experience DUNNS RIVER FALLS, and enjoy it with 20 people, as opposed to hundreds of people. Traveling "off season", has its perks! There are (5) pools around this rambling complex, of gardens and steps. We used the one closest to the condo, a few times. If you have any issue with the pool, call the number on the sheet they leave, and literally, in (5) minutes, someone will be there. Our son, age 20 was traveling with my husband and I. Trip Advisor does not have a "drop-down", to click traveling with FAMILY. The stairs could be a challenge for wheel chairs, but other than that, the walk is doable. We are NEVER going to rent from anyone else, and neither should you. Harry came back (2) days before we left, to return our security deposit, so there is no issue with that. We are very neat and clean, so we swept and mopped, and took out the garbage, put every dish away. Its called RESPECT, and since we got it from these brothers, we returned the vibe. We also made sure to "pay it forward", and leave toilet paper, and garbage bags, for the next LUCKY RENTER! I am telling you, LOOK NO FURTHER. Even if you read negative reviews in other condos in this complex, you will NOT have any issues, with APARTMENT 2-A in PHASE 4. We rented a car, so we covered the entire North Coast, and visited many beaches. If you have a vehicle, I am going to recommend that you have to go to SUGAR POT BEACH. Its a secret place, down a dirt road, behind Rio Nuevo gas station. "off the beaten path", is where you find the best places. This is one of them. When you follow this dirt road to the sea, the beach is spectacular, private, has shady parking, and the bar area, is made of stone and drift wood. The restaurant is adorable and they have many choices of island delights! The food is to die for. I ate curry conch two days in a row, and it was the best I ever had! I have eaten it in every parish on this island, over 29 years. The curry goat was also fresh and very seasoned. I want to take this time to thank Phillip, Clayton & Harry Biggs. They were the nicest, most responsible, caring renters, we have ever come upon. We loved their vibes, and honest to God, you will too! They work together, and call the condo phone, to make sure, everything is going well. They REALLY want your trip to leave you feeling IRIE. Best 16 days in JAMAICA, ever! “Location yes! housekeeping staff no...” Hello, we just came back from a week in Ocho Rios and had a fantastic time. The condo we rented was not in the tower shown in the picture but in the adjacent hotel, which was good too. And yes, location in great. Right next to a nice beach with a pool in the complex. So, as I mentioned, location was great. However, housekeeping left to be desired. We were told that the condo would be cleaned every 2 days, but after 3 days, no one had come to bring fresh towels or toilet paper! We had to call and call to get some service. Also, when we asked for some dishwashing soap, we were told to use either hand soap or soap for clothes. So aside from the little hickups with the housekeeping staff, I would recommend this rental.

“Great Place” My husband and I stayed here a few days to visit family. It was excellent. The view from the balcony was awesome! We could see all of Ocho Rios Bay. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The surrounding property was well kept. We had a view of the one of properties pool and jacuzzi. It was easy walking access to the town for shopping and nightlife. I would definitely stay again and recommend it for couples or families.

“You Promised...You Delivered!” Our group of 18 (13 adults and 5 children) stayed at L’Horizon for a week in January 2015. The entire experience, from booking to the time of the stay, was amazing. The owner, Barrington, was more than helpful and very responsive during the planning phase. And then we arrived! We were greeted by the Manager and staff with smiles, “welcomes”, and rum punch. The house was immaculate and the rooms were very spacious and more than sufficient for our large group. The staff kept the house spotless the entire stay even with 5 young kids doing what they do best (making a mess). The first day, we were provided a cell phone to reach the Manager (Kelly) if there were any issues that needed to be addressed. The cell phone also gave us the opportunity to make local calls which came in handy. We had pre-arranged a formal family dinner (details worked out with Barrington) for the day after our arrival which turned out to be a huge success! The food was amazing and included everything we requested. Each night thereafter we had delicious dinners prepared by the cook (thank you Miss Rose!). We did not purchase the all-inclusive package so we had to purchase our own food which was a bit inconvenient. This was a lesson learned (not the owners fault) and we all agreed that next time, all-inclusive would be the way to go. Regardless, breakfast and dinners were tastily prepared to order. We mostly went out for lunch or brought lunch back to the house. This gave us a chance to go out and see what the area had to offer and try some local foods. We even tried the local KFC which we were told was much different from those in the US. We proved that was true . While we didn’t get an all-inclusive package, inclusive in our package was a personal driver who took us wherever we wanted to go locally. We had the opportunity to go shopping, eat at local seafood and jerk spots (yummy), visit the Dunn’s River Falls (a must-do), and our “party group” even got driven to local dance clubs and picked up at 2:30 and 3:30 in the morning! On the nights we stayed in, we hung out at the Jam Eng Bar on the property by the pool, danced, and sang! The bartender was amazing and tons of fun! As for the younger kids, they lived in the pool and had an amazing time. When they were not in the pool, the private beach was only a quick 5-minute walk away. But let’s not forget the older crowd. My mom, aunt, and mother-in-law spent their days relaxing poolside and around the house (so many places to relax) chatting it up with the staff that were all so very friendly. The entire family agreed that this was one of their best vacations ever! We’ve even talked about the next time we’ll vacation at L’Horizon. A special thank you to Barrington and his wonderful staff at L’Horizon for making this vacation one of the best my family has ever had! For us, you more than delivered on your promises!!

“Wow!!” Dave, the Villa bus driver, picked us up at a local hotel where we had spent the previous night. The trip from Montego Bay to Mais Oui took a little over an hour but we did have one stop at a grocery for snacks and drinks. Dave was available the entire week and his advice on day trips and what to see was really appreciated. Upon arrival at the Villa we were greeted by Miss Ruby and the entire staff that presented us with cool towels and rum punch. We got a quick tour of the property while our luggage was unloaded and placed in the appropriate rooms. We were a group of 11 adults--all family and close friends. The Villa was spotless and all the items that we had requested in advance were on site for our arrival. This included the first two days' food and drinks. Arrangements for the food and drinks had been made with a local grocery where the Villa can charge and get delivery. The items were a bit pricy but for the convenience of having everything on site at arrival it is worth a little extra. On Tuesday Chef Arthur and I shopped at a large grocery store in Ocho Rios and purchased food for the remainder of our stay. Prices at this store were excellent as was the selection of food available. Our week at Mais Oui was exceptional. The staff was superb. Miss Ruby, the manager, was always available if we had questions or needs. Audrey and Janice kept the Villa in immaculate condition with fresh linens and towels daily in each room as well as fresh towels for the pool and beach as needed. Max kept the pool and grounds spotless and made sure the hot tub was ready as requested. Paul was always on hand also to serve our meals and get anything our group needed. A security guard was on site from dusk to dawn. Everyone in the group enjoyed "spa" day on Wednesday when massages were provided for our entire group. These were done by therapists whom the Villa arranged to have on site that day at an additional charge. The pool area is wonderful as it provides areas of shade, partial sun and full sun depending on how you locate your loungers. The pool is not heated but very refreshing when cooling off from the warm sun. We were a little saddened that the tennis court was in need of some repair but we were still able to use the court just not play competitively. The food at the Villa has to be considered a high point. Chef Arthur is a wonderful cook and prepared some of the finest meals we have enjoyed. He took the menu we had arranged and prepared almost everything we had requested. He asked permission to vary some dishes to give us a little more flavor of Jamaica and everyone agreed his selections were first rate. He is preparing a cook book with all his recipes and we look forward to getting a copy!! Overall, we felt like we were treated like members of the Mais Oui family. There were plenty of tears when on our last morning we were serenaded by the entire staff. Totally unexpected was a call from the Villa owner to see how our vacation was progressing and if all our needs were being met.

“Best Vacation Ever!” My family and I stayed at Point Of View Villa last Christmas. We had a fantastic time! The Villa was beautiful and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. It was wonderful to find a place away from all the tourist traps and high prices, but still be able to take short trips to see many of Jamaica's attractions. My family and I are definitely coming back! Having our own private cook was great, we all loved her cooking and professional service, it was more than we had hoped for. We have stayed other places and this was by far the best. The owner was very helpful advising us. Highly recommended!!!

“Wow!” We stayed as a family of 6 adults in September & had the time of our life! Andy the owner is really easy to do business with & communicates well. The location is superb with its own small private beach as well as an infinity pool. The grounds are spectacular with fruit trees, abundant flowers and many different species of birds. The housekeepers (Dion & Lilly) are superb cooks & hosts, their food was top drawer restaurant standard the whole time we were there. Karon the caretaker / gardener is an interesting guy & is really knowledgeable when it comes to the plants in the garden. Mervyn provided the night security which was discreet & appreciated. We are already saving hard to go again next year (but for longer)! Thank you andy & the team!

“Quiet, Crazy Wonderful” Dutura - Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, lush, green, roomy, comfortable, spacious! Dutura Staff - Amazing, kind, caretakers, fun, Great Cooks, great trainer, attentive, major attention to details that make you feel comfortable. Those are the words that describe this place. We were met with warmth and smiles. Chisholm took us to some great spots for Crazy adventures but really safe. Then home to an amazing staff that felt like family from day one! We stepped out of our comfort zones, we rested, we ate, we laughed, we Yogaed, we walked in beauty, we were challenged and we did not want to leave. Thank you Randel and Dutura for an experience we will never forget. We were the crazy 8's becoming indigenous! haha inside joke!

“the time of our lives!” i've stayed in many places in jamaica and other parts of the caribbean and the world - hotels, villas, apartments, resorts etc etc etc. - but no place - not one, made me feel the way sevilla did. we were at home. we were so well taken care of. orchestrated by the owner, Clare, and the joy she exudes in making everything and i mean everything, just right, just so, for us - and Monica the chef cooked us three meals a day which we had requested. (she'll cook anything for you - but we requested authentic jamaican) and wow - for the cost which was minimal, we had top notch fine dining meals daily - we didn't have to ever leave the premises except to walk down to the private beach at our leisure. We were able to have a real restful and productive vacation - like we were in a cocoon of sorts - safe peaceful secure and happy. that's the atmosphere Clare and her impeccable staff provide - and we're going back at our first opportunity and i suspect every year thereafter. simply beautiful.

“Green paradise with great pool, great food, beautiful gardens.” This place was great! You're on top of a mountain so the views are breathtaking. The gardens are incredible with all kinds of edible fruits, neat birds and pretty flowers. Our family loved the pool, with a fully shaded wading pool for our little guy, plus the big pool and a hammock in the shade (only meters from the wading pool so you can relax while they splash). We were there with a big group and spent our nights in one of the smaller rooms in the villa, the luxurious master bedroom was incredible though (even has a beday!) The traditional Jamaican cuisine was fantastic! I would definitely recommend choosing the cook option because it's about a 20minute drive down a bumpy road to get to town, and it's really nice (and affordable) to just have the cooking and dishes all taken care of. The atmosphere was really relaxing. The smaller bedrooms were a little unfinished but the owner said he's going to be sprucing things up a little in the next couple months. He was great about fixing things we asked for (got a new toaster oven to replace an old one, fixed our squeaky bedroom door and got us a waste basket for our room when we asked). The snorkeling and river walk that he set up for us were fantastic. If you're looking for an authentic Jamaican experience this is the spot for you.

“Paradise Found” The first time I traveled to the Chateau was in 1995 for my honeymoon. Since then I have returned four times. There was no internet then, and only a few pictures provided via snail mail. We were so suprised at the wonder of the Chateau and surrounding area. Getting to the Chateau is the biggest challenge best to fly into Kingston and rent a car and driver. The driver will get you there safetly and then you have care to enjoy all Port Antonio has to offer. The driver returns when you leave and takes the drive back to the airport. The Chateau is beautiful. The pictures on the intenet show the real thing, they are not shot at the best angles, but really show what is there and what you get. The three bedrooms all have seperate bathrooms, so perfect for couples traveling together. The views are spectacular from the Chateua and it will become for ever engrained in your memeroy. The staff truly help to make you vacation spectacular. Nalbert, Doris, and Sylvia are the best. Drois cooks the best food ever, no restuarant has ever compared. She will cook what you want and take you to the store to get all that will be needed for the trip. You will be suprised at the fantasic meals she creates from the shopping adventure. You do not need to go with, but do as it is a geat experience and a way to ease in around Port Antonio. Sulvia keeps the place spotless and always has a huge smile. Nalbert will take care of all of your needs and is a wealth of information about Jamaica itself and the area. The staff are there when you need them and disappear quietly when you don't. Port Antonio itself is the most beautiful place I have ever been. I have travelled through out the caribbean and Mexico, and still is the most beautiful place on earth. The vegitation is huges, the rivers so serene, and the beaches will make you long to see them again. The best parts, there are no crowds. If you are looking for paradise this is the place to be!!!

“Spectacular views of sea with brilliant staff” Stayed at Maranatha villa this year and left completely impressed with the staff, location and villa.. They really offered us sincere hospitality and ensured that we were well taken care of. We had some delicious meals that we enjoyed at times on the gazebo by the seaside which has some spectacular views. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was excellent on hot days. The adventurous ones in our group jumped off into the ocean for snorkeling and swimming in the reef. An excellent time was had by all. We will definitely be back.
