“My stay here was heaven on earth.” My stay on this villa was great. Everything I could imagine and more Food was delicious and authentic; not process or frozen. The master suit where I stayed was immaculate. The power shower to the huge jacuzzi bath. The king size bed made my night rest wonderful. It's felt like I was sleeping on clouds. This villa was hard for me to leave, from pool, xbox, board games and a fantastic pool why must I go outside.(lol). When I decided to go outside it was also a great and wonderful experience. I visited duns river falls, when to the hot spot night club margarita ville, oceans 11, and amnesia. We sang karaoke had great Jamaica drinks and watch the beautiful scenery. All these great attraction only 12mins tops from the villa. However my highlight of the stay is the private beach, only 2min walk from the villa. Great vacation I'm booking another stay for January andirons can't wait...

“Very good” The accommodation was very good. Very Luxurious and safe.Being that it was my first time to Kingston I was naturally nervous about safety but Kevin went out of his way to make sure I felt very safe. I was picked up by a driver once I landed at the airport and taken straight to the beautiful accommodation. I will definitely be staying there every time I come to Jamaica

“Great, beautiful villa with a great owner!!!!” The villa was just as beautiful as the pictures!! Also there was a miscommunication with the number of guests and the owner was very understanding and handled it promptly. He was very nice and was available when needed. I would recommend this villa 100%!!!

“WONDERFUL TIME!” Property is beautiful....This is my second stay at the Palmyra and once again we had a wonderful time. This is a condo that is built on the most beautiful beach there is in Montego Bay, between the former Ritz Carlton and Hilton Rosehall hotels. We had views of both beach and mountains. I can still feel the tradewinds. Sharon, the owner is most gracious and the staff there was very attentive and accomodating. Thank you all, So, Sharon Im ready to book my vacation for Feb, 2015. “You Promised...You Delivered!” Our group of 18 (13 adults and 5 children) stayed at L’Horizon for a week in January 2015. The entire experience, from booking to the time of the stay, was amazing. The owner, Barrington, was more than helpful and very responsive during the planning phase. And then we arrived! We were greeted by the Manager and staff with smiles, “welcomes”, and rum punch. The house was immaculate and the rooms were very spacious and more than sufficient for our large group. The staff kept the house spotless the entire stay even with 5 young kids doing what they do best (making a mess). The first day, we were provided a cell phone to reach the Manager (Kelly) if there were any issues that needed to be addressed. The cell phone also gave us the opportunity to make local calls which came in handy. We had pre-arranged a formal family dinner (details worked out with Barrington) for the day after our arrival which turned out to be a huge success! The food was amazing and included everything we requested. Each night thereafter we had delicious dinners prepared by the cook (thank you Miss Rose!). We did not purchase the all-inclusive package so we had to purchase our own food which was a bit inconvenient. This was a lesson learned (not the owners fault) and we all agreed that next time, all-inclusive would be the way to go. Regardless, breakfast and dinners were tastily prepared to order. We mostly went out for lunch or brought lunch back to the house. This gave us a chance to go out and see what the area had to offer and try some local foods. We even tried the local KFC which we were told was much different from those in the US. We proved that was true . While we didn’t get an all-inclusive package, inclusive in our package was a personal driver who took us wherever we wanted to go locally. We had the opportunity to go shopping, eat at local seafood and jerk spots (yummy), visit the Dunn’s River Falls (a must-do), and our “party group” even got driven to local dance clubs and picked up at 2:30 and 3:30 in the morning! On the nights we stayed in, we hung out at the Jam Eng Bar on the property by the pool, danced, and sang! The bartender was amazing and tons of fun! As for the younger kids, they lived in the pool and had an amazing time. When they were not in the pool, the private beach was only a quick 5-minute walk away. But let’s not forget the older crowd. My mom, aunt, and mother-in-law spent their days relaxing poolside and around the house (so many places to relax) chatting it up with the staff that were all so very friendly. The entire family agreed that this was one of their best vacations ever! We’ve even talked about the next time we’ll vacation at L’Horizon. A special thank you to Barrington and his wonderful staff at L’Horizon for making this vacation one of the best my family has ever had! For us, you more than delivered on your promises!!

“Quiet, Crazy Wonderful” Dutura - Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, lush, green, roomy, comfortable, spacious! Dutura Staff - Amazing, kind, caretakers, fun, Great Cooks, great trainer, attentive, major attention to details that make you feel comfortable. Those are the words that describe this place. We were met with warmth and smiles. Chisholm took us to some great spots for Crazy adventures but really safe. Then home to an amazing staff that felt like family from day one! We stepped out of our comfort zones, we rested, we ate, we laughed, we Yogaed, we walked in beauty, we were challenged and we did not want to leave. Thank you Randel and Dutura for an experience we will never forget. We were the crazy 8's becoming indigenous! haha inside joke!

“Peaceful, accomadating, relaxing, no tourist hassels.” The area was extremely peaceful and the people who lived in the complex were very inviting and friendly. A short walk from the apartment to the coastline, you'll see very pretty and scenic views. From views of rocky coastline to quiet and private beaches, it was beatiful to take a stroll, catch some sunshine, and just relax with a homemade cockail from your fridge. If you have a vehicle, parking is convenient and the property is just a short drive to shopping, food, and entertainment. The foliage on the ground are well kept and neatly manicured. The only part of the hotel complex that still seemed to be in function was the pool area. Staying at this apartment was really like you were living on the island. A visit to the grocery store is a great idea so you can fill your fridge with necessary items or perhaps cook some local foods in the kitchen area as we did. There was plenty of sitting room for four as well as sleeping arrangements. Mr. Rose was just a phone call away from a cell phone he provided for convenience. He checked in frequently to make sure things were ok, and to see if there was anything we needed. The apartment had air conditioning as well as plenty of ventilation for fresh air if desired instead. There were absolutely no hassels on the beach from locals as you would experience on the seven mile beach, and the beaches weren't filled with tourists becasue of the isolation of this property. The waters on the waters on this area of the beach were clear and very little sea grass washing up from the ocean. We definately enjoyed ourselves for the apartment value and local non-tourist accomadations. Joyce was very attentive via email and responded to all questions and concerns regarding the booking in a timely manner. Be sure to arrange form of payments and confirm booking dates with Joyce before you leave and bring contact information when you arrive to call Mr. Rose...he'll be expecting you;)!

“Paradise Found” The first time I traveled to the Chateau was in 1995 for my honeymoon. Since then I have returned four times. There was no internet then, and only a few pictures provided via snail mail. We were so suprised at the wonder of the Chateau and surrounding area. Getting to the Chateau is the biggest challenge best to fly into Kingston and rent a car and driver. The driver will get you there safetly and then you have care to enjoy all Port Antonio has to offer. The driver returns when you leave and takes the drive back to the airport. The Chateau is beautiful. The pictures on the intenet show the real thing, they are not shot at the best angles, but really show what is there and what you get. The three bedrooms all have seperate bathrooms, so perfect for couples traveling together. The views are spectacular from the Chateua and it will become for ever engrained in your memeroy. The staff truly help to make you vacation spectacular. Nalbert, Doris, and Sylvia are the best. Drois cooks the best food ever, no restuarant has ever compared. She will cook what you want and take you to the store to get all that will be needed for the trip. You will be suprised at the fantasic meals she creates from the shopping adventure. You do not need to go with, but do as it is a geat experience and a way to ease in around Port Antonio. Sulvia keeps the place spotless and always has a huge smile. Nalbert will take care of all of your needs and is a wealth of information about Jamaica itself and the area. The staff are there when you need them and disappear quietly when you don't. Port Antonio itself is the most beautiful place I have ever been. I have travelled through out the caribbean and Mexico, and still is the most beautiful place on earth. The vegitation is huges, the rivers so serene, and the beaches will make you long to see them again. The best parts, there are no crowds. If you are looking for paradise this is the place to be!!!
