“Quiet relaxation” We absolutely loved our stay! The condo is on the third floor, so there’s great views of the grounds, and a walking path to the ocean and pier. The Plantation was extremely quiet, and the people we did come across were welcoming and friendly. The condo was clean, cozy, stocked with necessary kitchen and even toiletries for the bathroom! That was a pleasant surprise. We spent most of our time sitting on the screened porch listening to the fountains and birds. The owner is very responsive to texts and emails. We definitely recommend this as a vacation spot, and will be back.

“Started Rocky But Ended Great!” Booking this villa was easy and the owner was pretty friendly. We ran into a few issues the day of arrival a case of mistaken identity. Called the owner to see of we could check in early and she told me the reservation was canceled. I was devastated, but I knew it had to be a mistake. After about 30 Minutes of showing proof it was determined she had me confused with another guest. She apologized and we checked in successfully. The house was great, clean, and comfortable. It took about a day for the pool heat to function properly but after that the pool and jacuzzi were great. Oh and the washing machine did not work properly. Overall After day 1 Jennifer and Kevin were so accommodating and nice. My family and I really enjoyed staying in this property and it is really close to the disney parks!!!! We would definitely stay again!!!

“Perfect for Beach Lovers” The views from this Condo are amazing. You cannot get better access to the beach!!! Everything was clean and well done aesthetically. We enjoyed our time, especially my husband who loves the Atlantic Ocean, thoroughly. Onsite parking is a great asset as is the elevator to the 4th floor. Helena and Robert were gracious and very accommodating. Would go back in a heartbeat! .

“Celebrated Our 25th Anniversary at Maya Cala!” This villa was perfect for our 25th Anniversary. We took a pontoon boat out on the lake and renewed our wedding vows in the water of the Bacalar lake at sunset. The home is very private, very safe, well stocked kitchen. The lake was so awesome from the home and gardens bloomed everywhere around the home. There are some secret surprises thru out the gardens that are for surprise as you stroll thru them. We seen alot of beautiful birds s! It was awesome being in the wildlife so much as Maya Cala provides. We used bug repellent in the evenings at the lake and that worked fine for us. We swam directly from the home, a great dock and we kayaked alot along the banks of the lake. Great little local towns fun to check out and don't miss a sunset trip on the lake in a boat. Thank you Sally for your allowing us to use your awesome home for our 25th Anniversary.and heard monkeys, never got to see one but sure think they were the ones making noise

“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Great RRV Getaway -- Quiet & Remote, yet Conveniently Located to” We rented this updated house for Thanksgiving.We were a party of 6: grandparents,adult children & 2 grandchildren.We stayed in the downstairs, and the kids and grandkids stayed in the upstairs 2 BR with one large bathroom (with jacuzzi tub, shower stall & sauna) and a separate 1/2 bath.The house itself has one large living & kitchen area, with an eating bar,upstairs,with a second living area and kitchenette downstairs, which has an additional exterior door). We did not realize that the upstairs & downstairs aren't connected "inside"-you have to use the outside stairs to go from one area to the other. It's not a big deal and it provided a bit of separation from the noise and commotion of the kiddos.Overall,the house updated: updates in the kitchen,bathrooms,downstairs,central heat, Wifi,etc.Yet very comfortable and quaint with electric fireplaces (no wood burning),views of the redwoods from every window & large outdoor decks.The decks wrap around the house and provide privacy if you choose to use the hot tub or sit outside and enjoy the porch views of the trees & the RR. With latching gates at the top of the stairs, it was safe for the 3 yr old.The kitchen is a bit tight,but it is fully equipped with a nice frig,new gas range,new dishwasher.We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner(always a challenge in someone else's kitchen),there were plenty of dishes,utensils,service wear, pots,pans,etc.The upstairs:full bath and half bath are adjacent to the living area.The upstairs beds are very comfy,with nice furniture and finishing.The sheets and towels are all very new and fluffy.The primary bathroom is huge, with a large Jacuzzi and the separate shower.The bathroom has a zen vibe-very relaxing.The half-bath is convenient with a crowd.We walked down the steps to the river,enjoyed the scenic fall views of the RR.Fun!The owner was delightful to work with & gave us plenty of info,good directions.Very helpful!

“Super Friendly” Great folks running this place. They really give the home town experience with amenities of a major hotel. This property is right next to a beautiful lake. The options are great for either the relaxed weekend or if you want to water skiing or out on a boat to fish it is all there. Really pleased with vacation this has turned into and relaxation is the key!

“Great Location” My family just spent 8 days in Nassau at Ocean Paradise. It was a fantastic location for a relaxing beach vacation. We swam in the ocean every day and enjoyed the fabulous views/ The house was in good shape and very well suited to families.I have used Vrob for many years and Catherine was a great hostess. “Great views from both balconys” We enjoyed our stay. The swimming pool at the complex and the beach club were spectacular. The walk back from the beach club was the hardest as it was a long uphill climd to the condo.
