“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Great views from both balconys” We enjoyed our stay. The swimming pool at the complex and the beach club were spectacular. The walk back from the beach club was the hardest as it was a long uphill climd to the condo.

“One of the best vacations I've ever had” This villa has two-bedrooms, two-bathrooms, beautiful kitchen, great balcony and comfy living room. It housed ten of us comfortably (1 king sized bed, 2 queen sized beds, 1 full sized bed, 1 futon). The showers were fine - using them both at the same time often decreased water pressure a bit. The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchenware. There are supermarkets on highway 3 not too far from the resort. There is cable and aC so we ended up hanging out in the villa a decent amount. While the beach isn't the prettiest that Puerto Rico has to offer, we definitely got use out of it and spent nearly every day there. The pool area has a kiddie pool, infinity pool, laps pool, and hot tub. This area was is primarily for those living in the villa and was never really crowded. It is also very close to the hotel pool and bar if a renter wishes to interact and meet new people. This area of Puerto Rico is only about a ten minute drive to the Rainforest. My friends and I enjoyed spending a morning/afternoon at El Yunque National Rainforest Park. Such proximity to the rainforest did not provide 24/7 sunshine. We did get rain here and there everyday. San Juan is about a 40-minute drive away, and we ended up going there three times out of our six days - I recommend renting cars (we used Enterprise, and they were great!). This also meant that we decided against "going out" to clubs/bars in San Juan because we would've had to designate drivers to drive back really late at night. From the very first moment we were interested, Diana had been in constant communication with us. She made the whole process of planning our Spring Break so easy and efficient. When we were finally there and settled in at the pool, Jesus came by to introduce himself and welcome us. Then, all ten of us were invited one night to come over to their other property for some drinks and hors d'oeuvres. This was a great experience, and I definitely hope to come back (she'll be the first one I contact).

“Superb service in idilyc setting” We had a fantastic week staying in Bananaquit house. The service was 5* everything is thought of by Joan and her team. The house was immaculate and we were immediately made to feel at home. The beds were very comfortable and all the rooms were very spacious and airy. The house is incredibly relaxing and there are board games galore, the swimming pool is incredible and then there is the view, which has to be one of the best in the world. I would recommend Bananaquit House to groups of couples or families. When we booked we were recommended a list of places to go which really helped as we'd never been before. I would recommend an afternoon out sea, snorkling and stopping off in Marigot Bay and a trip to the sulphur springs which were a bit smelly but great fun. I would also highly recommend Orlando's at the bottom of the hill for a lovely dinner out. Brilliant house made by the wonderful service.

“Beautiful Property” The entire staff was terrific. Viviana was super helpful as she was able to make travel arrangements for us to make our stay enjoyable. Stephen was also terrific, he was great during booking and even called to check in with us while we were there. My only regret is not taking Stephen's recommendation to have our cars (Suvs!) delivered directly to the villa. Also, do not get anything but an SUV as a rental, a regular car will not make it up to the villa.

“Out of this World” Casa dos Cisnes is magnificent. The villa transcended our expectations in every respect. The colonial-style design is expansive but intimate, the sublime decor is imbued with a tasteful Mexican aesthetic, and the nouveau Mexican cuisine was certainly on a par (if not better) than the gourmet food we tasted in PV's most acclaimed restaurants - you really don't ever have to leave the villa to revel in the traditions of Mexico. The views from pretty much everywhere in the villa are simply breathtaking. The staff was extraordinary and discreet - they seemed to preempt our every wish or need. The tranquil location is perfect. We spent our mornings exploring remote nearby beaches, whale watching, and experiencing PV's cultural sights then retreated to our sumptuous villa to relax with a margarita by the infinity pool. Even using the gym is not a chore - you are surrounded by tropical birds and flowers and the Pacific Ocean views are spectacular. The spacious bedrooms and myriad living/dining spaces make this a great option for groups or families. We hope to return.

“Great house” Review: Wonderful view from this house which overlooks the city and has lots of charming flower filled outdoor living spaces and elegant interior rooms. Owner and staff were very helpful .We walked down to town each day and up as well, which was very good exercise but cabs are cheap and plentiful and we took those when we bought groceries or at night. This house could easily take a family as there is a separate attached bedroom and 2 other large bedrooms.

“Most beautiful place we've ever rented.” We loved the cabin. It was perfect for our size family (10). The huge balcony with the incredible views was the perfect beginning and ending to each day. Everything we needed to prepare meals was available and there was more than enough room in the kitchen for several of us to work. Thanks for having such a well stocked facility.
