“Wonderful location + host” This place was in a great location and the beach access was perfect. We have three children (all 5 and under) and had no problem with space. Darlene was wonderful to work with and was very responsive to our needs. We will be back!

“Sandos Playacar is Amazing!” My family - me, my husband and two kids - just returned from an amazing week at the Sandos Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. We had such a fantastic time and LOVED Sandos. Everything was great - the food, the staff, the facilities, the entertainment and more! Sandos is a truly beautiful resort - the hacienda was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The food at the al a carte restaurants was especially good, although we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts very much. The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything. The beach section was beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, beds and hammocks to relax in. A short walk down the beach-2 minutes- brought us to a snorkeling area that was filled with tropical fish. The evening entertainment was top notch! All of our plans were booked through Georgette Flamm who provided detailed information and assistance every step of the way. She provided tons of info about the rooms and the resort, reserved transportation from the airport and gave us other valuable tips about our visit to Sandos. She responded to all of my questions immediately - I really was impressed how easy she made it! I would absolutely recommend Georgette Flamm and Sandos to anyone!!

“Great cozy home away from home.” We stayed in the Orleans bungalo apartment on July 15-18. It felt like we were at home. The apartment had lots of character and charm. Loved sitting outside on the terrace watching the free entertainment across the street , was it called the ship wrecked bar? I especially loved beiing able to go to the back alley and washing clothes. (I hope it belonged to the cottages property, if not then oops!) We utilized the kitchen and the gas grill out back on the patio.Everything was great and this cottage had plenty of space for two families. We met my cousins from Texas in Flordia for a vaca. We drove from Oklahoma. The flat screens worked great. I have no complaints about this place. I just want to say to all you all snotty people leaving negative comments.... Quit complaining or find somewhere else to stay. What exactly do you think you are getting when you hear the word "cottages" it's not going to have a bell hop and a maid that cleans up your messes daily. Maybe some of you never lived in 100 year old homes and only used to a lavish lifestyle. Obviously you spent your time in doors. not us we were at the beach the majority of the day until almost 9pm every night. I enjoyed my stay there. It was a good 3 day stay for us despite the rainy weather. Yet we still had fun.

“Luxurious, Opulent, Well-maintained--110% satisfied (would go back tmw)” Read all the previous reviews for details--- they are all absolutely accurate. There is even purified water brought in the house and kept in a separate tank for drinking and cooking. Having access to the Reef Hotel and the gym & beach was phenomenal. We played Volleyball everyday at 4pm, then took a quick dip in the ocean. The evenings were spent strolling to town to discover a new restaurant OR simply cooking up something ourselves in the gourmet kitchen at home. The management company and the property owners are extremely responsive and helpful. We ordered the van transfer from Cancun airport (so worth it since as soon as we touched down-- the stress-free vacation began.) You could also take a luxury bus to the center of PDC and then cab over to the Reef Hotel (across the street) -- no worries. We had Maria stock some Coronas and Papaya and other items so the house was ready upon arrival (for a nominal fee). I like to give balanced reviews and have been racking my brain to come up with something at Casa Susana that needs improvement. The only thing I could say is that the Wifi got really slow when 5 people were using it -- no big deal -- get off the internet and get to the beach! You're on vacation! The property is also very safe in Playacar Phase 2 -- a 5 min/$5 cab ride into town. The cabs are constantly available and right on the corner. “Quiet, Crazy Wonderful” Dutura - Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, lush, green, roomy, comfortable, spacious! Dutura Staff - Amazing, kind, caretakers, fun, Great Cooks, great trainer, attentive, major attention to details that make you feel comfortable. Those are the words that describe this place. We were met with warmth and smiles. Chisholm took us to some great spots for Crazy adventures but really safe. Then home to an amazing staff that felt like family from day one! We stepped out of our comfort zones, we rested, we ate, we laughed, we Yogaed, we walked in beauty, we were challenged and we did not want to leave. Thank you Randel and Dutura for an experience we will never forget. We were the crazy 8's becoming indigenous! haha inside joke!

“so awesome!” this was the best family holiday i think i ever had. there were 21 of us and we were well fed, relaxed but with plenty of things to do to keep everyone occupied or not, depending on who wanted to do what. the service was so helpful. they desired to please us at all times. i can't rate the place and experience higher for a fabulous time.

“Absolutely the best place to stay” I have spent more that one vacation in Playa Del Carmen and this is my second trip to Casa Cascada. In July of last year we went down to swim with the whale sharks. We had an incredible experience in which the owner of the home was able to assist us in booking the trip. Swimming with the whale sharks and then enjoying a relaxing evening by the pool was magical. The home, grounds, amenities, views!! are all spectacular. Our recent trip down was no exception. Very well kept and easy walking distance to the beach and downtown. This is a jewell worth experiencing!
