“Perfect secluded location with a wonderful view” If you want to get away from the fray - this is your spot. This house has spectacular views and comfortable beds. Being familiar with the area, our group didn't explore much - everything we needed was at the house including close access to an easy walking beach. Even better, the owner/management promptly answered all of my questions. I hate to gush too much or the house won't be available for me next time. The only (very minor) drawback was no fireplace.

“Excellent place to stay with an incredible view” We had an excellent time staying at Windows on the Sea. The condo has a fantastic view of the ocean and is very beautiful. Every little detail was thought out and taken care of. It gets a little ding for "comfort" 4 out of 5 stars because the radiant heat in these condos is very poor and you can't get much hot water while also heating the condo. Not that big a deal and a space heater is provided and also wouldn't be an issue anytime but the winter. Also note: the other rentals in this building are ran by a rental company and we have had a very bad experience with them in the past. If you want to stay in the building, this one "Windows on the Sea" is the one to stay in and has the best view by far.

“Cozy and full of amenities.” Our family lived this little cabin. It is an older home with a bit of a throw back feeling. The kids loved the setup of the rooms and the toys and games. Also, the tree house and swings are awesome. I appreciate that you have it locked up, as my little people are too small to enjoy it unsupervised. We loved that you have wet suits and boards for us to borrow! The smallest one fit our large 3 year old. By the end of our second day he was enjoying some waves with assistance. We did our best to rinse the gear per instructions. We really, really appreciated it all. Plenty of dishes, movies, and linens. The beds were cozy. We plan on returning!

About Netarts

The northwest part of the US is known for its natural beauty, and the Oregon town of Netarts is no exception. With easy access to beaches and natural wildlife, historical attractions, and friendly locals, this is the perfect location to relax and get away from it all. Pearl Street is home to beautiful houses displaying classic Victorian architecture, while Main Street is the primary commercial strip featuring the best restaurants and shopping in town.

Here are a few suggestions of things to do in Netarts:

  • Cape Meares Lighthouse: This lighthouse is among the oldest in the state still in service.
  • Pacific Coast Scenic Byway: It won't be possible to drive all of its 363 miles in a single day, but do consider spending an hour or two taking in this strip of highway's stunning scenery.
  • Cape Meares Wildlife National Refuge: This refuge provides a habitat for federally threatened bird species and is home to 200 foot tall trees which tower over the Three Capes Scenic Route.
  • The Octopus Tree: For a truly unique experience, head to Cape Meares State Park to see this old spruce tree that has branches growing like massive tentacles.

Netarts is known as a place where things close early, but the daytime events and festivals in and around the area provide ample opportunity to sample the best of the region from sunrise to sunset. Try some of Netart's world-class seafood at the Clam Chowder Feed in May, listen to live performances from the top blues musicians in the state at the Memorial Weekend Blues Festival in May, or sit on the beach and watch fireworks light up the sky during the Fourth of July celebrations.

A vacation rental is the preferred option for those staying in Netarts. Rent a beautiful villa with easy access to the beach and the opportunities for crabbing that it offers, or book a luxury condo near some of the popular shopping areas in town.

Nice house with amazing views

This is a very nice vacation rental. We found the home to be clean and well stocked. You can view the water from pretty much anywhere in the house. We found the stairs to be well maintained and not difficult at all. You just need to be careful and take your time, if you are concerned. The beach was very quiet and a great place to let the dogs play. Would like to thank the owners again for allowing us to bring our fur babies (we don't vacation without them!). The only recommendations I would make is a new throw rug in the living room, and firmer mattresses. We would definitely stay here again! … see more

Nice quiet neighborhood, plus comfortable clean house

We stayed here with 7 friends. The cabin seemed well equipped with cooking tools and clean. There was enough room for us to stay in and play board game. There was a fire pit in front of the cabin that was very cozy. There is a safeway within 15 mins of driving. The cell reception was poor but the cabin had wifi with good speed for streaming youtube/Netflix. The nearby trails and the beach are also very convenient. … see more
