“Beautiful views!!” We spent the 4th of July here and the view of the fireworks alone was worth it! First, the property management company was a pleasure to work with. They were in constant contact with me prior to the stay and answered all of our questions. When we first arrived, the home was closed up (as it should be) and was quite warm. The desert rats that we are started looking for the AC. After all 4 adults attempted to get it going, we decided to call the management company. They informed us that there is no AC. Apparently in Tahoe, AC is not normally necessary, but we happened to be there during an abnormal heat wave. Once we were able to get all of the windows open, it cooled down. I will say that the bedrooms did get warm overnight even with all of the windows open and there was only one fan. The bedrooms have the sun hitting them during the day and the overall airflow didn't cool them much overnight. The only other 'complaint' that we had is that the kitchen could have been a little better stocked, but that was a minor detail. There are 3 bedrooms (none of which have a king bed) and a pull-out sofa in the living room. The 3 bathrooms are very convenient and nicely decorated. We loved the layout of the condo. It was open and again, the views are totally worth it! We are definitely wanting to come back again and stay in this beautiful place.

“Convenient location, great amenities and very helpful owner!” We stayed here with a group of friends for a ski weekend in January. The owner was very helpful in providing not only instructions for arrival, checkout and our stay, but also provided nice personal touches such as restaurant recommendations. We skied at Northstar Resort, which was about 15-20 minutes away. There was plenty of space in the house and it was nicely furnished. The huge TV in the living room was perfect for watching football after a hard day of skiing, and the couches were very comfortable. We loved the pellet stove in the common room, too. The owner provided lots of extra towels, which was perfect because we used the hot tub needed them! Most places I've stayed at seem to forget that guests go through towels so quickly! Also a plus, the owner has a good variety of spices, oils, and cooking necessities in the kitchen that he allows guests to use, which is uncommon around Tahoe but very helpful. This is a perfect house for a weekend in Tahoe. It has enough rooms to provide privacy, but a great communal area for folks to hang out. There was plenty of parking (1 car in garage, 2 in driveway, 2 on the street) even when it was snowing out. The owner's accessibility are also a huge plus! It was nice to know that if a problem arose, we could contact him so easily. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

“Just like home!” Great location. We came out for a wedding over the weekend and had a great time here. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with plenty of space for 6. Great location and easy access to the farmers market on ski run, close to the hotel & casino's, as well as our favorite burger spot (lucky beaver). We had a chance to meet Steve and he was very welcoming to his home. We thank Angel & Steve for opening their beautiful home to us and hope to stay here again in the future!

“Top of the World” We only stayed here 2 nights, but would have loved a longer visit. The house is in good shape and the views are spectacular, as advertised. Kitchen was fine, and master suite was very comfortable, with extra space for our 10-mo old to sleep in the (provided!) Pack-n-play. The baby items provided were a huge help, as we traveled by air. Suzannah was extremely attentive and responsive to my questions and made sure we had a comfortable stay. Location is great, but just expect a bit of a windy drive up and down to/from Incline Village. The only reason I gave service 4 stars is because of a few very minor points of confusion related to garage parking (not available), changes to wifi, and having to take out the trash, but Suzannah kindly explained these things to me, or did her best to clarify any confusion. Older folks might like having a bedroom on the main floor, and there are no steps unless you use the upstairs master suite or sauna/workout room. I'd highly recommend this place to a friend. Would love to come back for a snowy or summertime visit.

“GREAT HOUSE AND GREAT LOCATION!” The house was perfect for our family get-together the week after Christmas. With two grandkids, 10 and 13, we didn’t want to stay on the strip. However, the house is just a hop from the strip (15 min or so) and in a quiet neighborhood with a big park nearby for walks. We also found easy access to roads for Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Neon Boneyard and the Pinball Museum where you can actually play older pinball machines. The property manager was very gracious and met us at the house when we arrived. She showed us where everything was, how everything worked and answered all our questions. She also gave us info on locations of grocery stores (we cooked in after busy days on the strip) and restaurants. We appreciated the fact she was available anytime we needed her. The WiFi worked great and everyone had space to hang out together…or not. The pool table was a plus and the heated pool and spa were wonderful. We’d love to visit again and definitely recommend it, Thanks! to Frank and Sharon

Gorgeous 2 Bed/2Bath Condo Mins From The Strip!

Las Vegas apartment

“Comfortabe and Cozy” I stayed in this 2nd floor condo ( very minimal noise from the neighbors) during January 2015. It is a great place for 1-4 people. Close to everything (15 minutes max) and had everything stocked that I needed. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed, ceiling fans and HUGE refrigerator. Wi-Fi was a breeze and the cable options included almost all the premium channels. And I must mention the master shower has double heads- awesome!! I had a very positive experience and would recommend it for others unless walking up one flight of stairs is a problem. Also, very visible security and 10 mph speed limit (no booming cars or cycles). All this and your own covered parking spot. Thanks Tamara

About Nevada

A patchwork of sinful gambling, swaying cactuses, sleepy ghost towns and powerful natural beauty, there's much more to Nevada than meets the eye. The vast majority of the population is concentrated in the cities of Reno and Las Vegas, with eighty percent of the state covered in a wonderland of arid deserts, blood-red canyons and glistening alpine lakes. Nevada is also home to the Burning Man Festival, one of the world's largest celebrations of art, music, lifestyle and alternative community.

If you're heading to Nevada, check out these top attractions:

  • Las Vegas: Flashing lights, casino gambling, glitz, glamor and easy living define Sin City. Time seems to stand still when you're here, with round-the-clock action that lets you dictate the pace of your trip. Many of the most famous and best-loved Nevada tourist attractions are also in Vegas.
  • Lake Tahoe: Famed for its never-ending sunny days and abundance of activities throughout the year, you could easily spend your whole Nevada vacation in Lake Tahoe. Straddling the Nevada-California border, Tahoe is unique in that it hosts world-class sporting venues for both summer and winter recreation. Some of the best ski spots in North America are here.
  • Reno: If the hustle and bustle of Vegas is a bit too much, come to "the biggest little city in the world," Reno. It has all the casino and entertainment action of Sin City, but in a much more manageable package.
  • Great Basin National Park: One of the most famous Nevada National Parks, the Great Basin National Park is dry and mountainous. The rugged terrain has a sharp range of high and low elevations, and the stark yet picturesque scenery is truly unique to Nevada.
  • Lake Mead National Recreation Area: Located in the southern part of the state near the Arizona border, Lake Mead National Recreation Area is home to the famous Hoover Dam.

Avoid the crowded, noisy hotels in Las Vegas and throughout the state's gambling hotspots by staying in a vacation rental instead. Getting a fully furnished condo, short-term rental home or apartment rental is easy, convenient and affordable.

Nevada is perfectly located to facilitate further exploration of the American southwest. Arizona and California border it, with Los Angeles being just a short four-hour drive from downtown Las Vegas.

Great -feel at home- condo!

This is a wonderful place to stay in. The landlady is very friednly and cooperative at all times. I stayed from mid December to mid of January. Easy key handover at my late arrival. At first I couldn't log on to the WiFi but with a couple of text messages with prompt answers from the landlady that was fixed in not time. Other than that everything was as described. The apartment is comfortably furnished and you feel at home at once! The only improvements that I also wrote to the owner are: Exchange of two not working light bulbs, one fan wasn't working, new sharper knives in the kitchen and some new water & wine glasses. There were only few left. As you can see, these are only minor inconveniences and are the same day to day issues everybody faces from time to time at home on their own. During my stay even a mail delivery worked to the main mail station of the complex. Neighbors and neighborhood are quiet, friendly and clean. All in all it was a great stay and I would rebook the condo anytime again.see more

Perfect Family Staycation!

(9/12-9/17) THANK YOU JOE, for your incredible hospitality & welcoming us into your home! In celebration of our brother-in-law's birthday & our nephew's 1st year at UNLV, we definitely had the most enjoyable stay. So much so we didn't want to leave! The location, the neighborhood, all the amenities & accessibility made it easy to feel at home. Perfectly accommodated our family of 9 with plenty of room to spare. Parents enjoyed relaxing in the backyard while the kids were comfortably indoors enjoying the AC & Wi-Fi while studying online. As soon as school was over, the perfect weather & heated pool was the icing on their cake. This home made our trip completely stress-free & was definitely everything we needed for the perfect staycay. We all loved it & can't wait to stay again!see more
Entire Condo - Outstanding Location with Comfort & Value!!
Almost perfect!

The condo is in a gated community and to describe the experience in three words - It was amazing! Close enough to the strip (7-8 minutes drive) yet far away to maintain the level of sanity one would need in Las Vegas! Spotless clean, outstanding conditions, big, bright and luxurious!!! Shopping for groceries, or dining out was a breeze. There is an outdoor pool nearby (about 30 feet or so), but the weather was not very cooperating for a splash. There is a BBQ area by the pool, so bring your own charcoals if you like a BBQ while you take a dive in the pool. The only "complaint" we had was the travertine tiles used. While striking elegant, they stain pretty easy, so we had to be very careful not to let any water drops stay on the floor for more than few minutes. Was a bit stressful, hence my description of "almost perfect". Other than that, Joe and Tara proved to be perfect hosts and we will look them up again next time we come to Vegas.see more
