“Very authentic Ubud living from hospitable host” In our week's stay in Bali, Ubud was the 2nd destination and we loved it. No doubt Ubud is known for it's art works and culture and agung had made sure that his villa resembles the very essence of it. The villa is located right at the south-west edge of Ubud and is not the easiest place to be found. On the way, one can find all the marvelous wood carved artifacts on the village streets. The villa was built away from the main street in a quieter area with greeneries all around. It's amazing to find so much of trees around, yet there was not much of an issue with bugs/insects/mosquitoes. The kitchen is located just besides the cool private pool where we could enjoy the evening with some drinks and delicious local dishes. If you're interested in local cuisines, check out "Soka Kitchen" who had served the best authentic Balinese dishes at a very reasonable price (they also have home delivery which is even more convenient). None of the rooms got any aC, but Ubud is rather cooler compared to other parts of Bali and so we felt rather comfortable with the stand fans. Agung was extremely helpful all the way and gave us 1st hand experience of the local attractions and culture of Ubud. He himself had taken us around Ubud with visits to Monkey forest, the museums, art galleries, the spectacular rice fields. Pity we didn't have enough time to check out the Balinese dance or religious rituals in the local temples. A walk around the village in the morning breathing the fresh air and greeted with smiling locals is an unique experience and I'd suggest if you're looking for a trip to Bali, spend a few days in Ubud. Agung's villa can provide all amenities at a reasonable price for a family vacation.

“Great place for an escape n tranquil” We came here for our honeymoon. And we wanted to be like a retreat, away from our daily routine n city hectic life. And we found the room we booked was a very nice room, clean n comfortable. Everything that in the picture was exactly what we had. The surrounding was very tranquil, a perfect venue for getaway. In addition we can still hear the sound of nature. So it's like we blend in with them. Do not worry of transport or finding recreation as there were so many activities available, as well as free shuttle to Ubud area. But don't look for a discotheque as it will be quite far and they don't have that hype around Ubud. The breakfast is sufficient and definitely delicious.

“We felt like the rich and famous!!! - What a dream place to stay” Well what can i say - I loved every minute of this place. Everything about Kulraya Villas is 5 star! * The house and view, the pool is absolutely stunning. * Bedrooms are beautiful - one looks over the pool and the other over the garden/hills * Two bathrooms which are both clean and to a high standard * Beds are huge - queen in one room and king in the other. Or a king and a XL king * The place is immaculate - you just call them when you want the room cleaned * The breakfasts are delicious - choice of continental or cooked * The food (if ordered) is well priced compared to hotels and is delivered to the villa promptly and is delicious. * The location is beautiful - perched up in the hills * There's a fully equip kitchen so great for families as well as a washing machine. * I could keep going on for ever as i loved so much about this place. The only thing i could say against the location is that you really need your own transport. ie car or motor bike. This isn't even really a problem as Ian and Luk can organise this for you at a good rate or just get one from the many places in town. We got a bike for 200 Baht a day! The beaches are lovely. The closest one is about a 3-4 min drive away with white sand and crystal blue water. Other surrounding beaches we loved was Relax Bay which was great for kids as its a small beach so you could always see the kids and the water is shallow. I want to go back there and have told all my friends about it.

“fab villa and great location” we stayed for 7 days in march. very stylish villa with great 2 bedrooms. we had breakfast cooked in each day and had something different every day, plus had dinner cooked one nite. only problem we had was with the car we booked thru villa for arrival did not even know where the villa was and it took them forever to find the place, which was the only reason we booked thru the villa. but great central location, just 100mtr from main st seminyak but still very quite.

“Great villa with nice view at sunset in Bali see” We spend 11 nights at villa Mente and enjoyed the luxury of the villa, the pool and it's staff. We made several daytrips but we also stayed some days relaxing at the pool. Komang does the household and coocking. She made our holiday and stay at villa Mente unforgettable. Many thanks! “Definitely great place to stay in north Bali, highly recommended!!!"” Very beautiful villa, with very big swimming pool, with amazing view at sea. Villa was in very calm area. Fantastic place to stay during visit in Bali. Also staf was very helpful and kind, give us info about everything we asked. Maid prepared very good breakfast everyday and when we asked and pay for groceries, they also prepare very tasty lunch or dinner. Villa was maintained in very clean condition. Also in villa is everything you need if you want to prepare meals for yourself. Definitely great place to stay north Bali, highly recommended!!!"

“A different view of Bali” What can i say about Villa Bayu except MAGNIFICENT. From the booking process to the airport pick up everything was wonderful. When we arrived it only got better. The view and Villa itself were stunning. We have been to bali over 20 times but have never had this experience. The lovely staff made our trip memorable with their kind and caring personality, the ladies even show my daughter and I how to make some Sate, Mmm delicious. Our driver fast became our friend, what a lovely man and expert driver. I simply can't say enough Great things about our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the lovely Lovina. “Well kept, beautifully situated villa on the shore of the ocean” Modern, beautifull villa with 4 private bedrooms and bathrooms, well maintained en well furnished inside as wel as outside. Nice art and decoration. Good size pool in a pretty tropical garden, also comfortable in the evening thanks to plenty lamps in and around the water

“It be cool at Bekul” The Villa Bekul was an idyllic retreat overlooking the sea, with large open living spaces and a freshness enhanced by the smiling and cooperative staff. Our drivers were always available to transport us and were most helpful in finding places of interest. I would happily return.

“Excellent stay in beautiful Bali” We stayed in Bali the week after celebrating Christmas in our current hometown Singapore. Bali was just beautiful and very relaxing. The home was in an excellent condition and the service outstanding. The staff made sure we had a very relaxing holiday without any worries or stress. The food was excellent…….better than in many restaurants. If you want to join a beautiful relaxing holiday without any hassle and lots of cultural experience, this is the place to go….
