“excellent back woods getaway” What a wonderful house to stay in. Everything is there that you need and it is very clean, all you half to bring is the food you want to fix and eat. The Kitchen is really nice and has everything you need. This was our second time to Lindberg's Landing, that is how much we liked it and if we come back up to Munising this is the place to stay. It is very quiet and peaceful there. The owner Lisa is awesome to and if you need anything or help she is right there. The lake is nice and there is a fishing boat there to use which was nice. There is places to hike on the property for those who like to be outdoors. We enjoyed this a lot. And there is a lot of waterfalls in the area to go to and thy are very nice and worth the time to go see. Me and my husband stayed there for two weeks in Sept. and loved it. Linda and Denny

“Recharged” I have stayed at Heaven several times over the past 8 years. I find it hard to believe that there is a more tranquil and relaxing place to be. Everything you need is provided. For those who like to wander off and sight see, the destinations are endless. For someone like me, who likes to relax and get away from being busy, it is perfect. The silence is deafening.

“Great Michigan Getaway!” Our stay at Indian Pointe was beyond our expectations! The house and amenities were great! The only thing I will now know for next year (yes, we hope to return again next fall) was the fact that so many little things were supplied with the rental such as coffee, sugar, tea, coffee filters, etc. This was a great weekend getaway! It felt like our home away from home!

“Dream house in the North woods” My family loved staying at Cranberry Lake Lodge. The house was clean and spacious with a large deck and a fantastic view of Cranberry Lake. Located in Hiawatha National Forest, it's a little drive to Munising and Lake Superior, but it's worth it if you like the peace and quiet of the North Woods. We immediately felt at home in this beautiful house on the lake. It has all of the bells and whistles. The only negative comment I have is that we had trouble on our arrival with the lock box that holds the housekey. I called Lisa and she got back to me right away. Other than that, our stay was a great and memorable one.

“Awesome weekend!” The only thing wrong is that it went by too fast. Everything was very clean and stocked with everything! There was a huge snowstorm and everything was beautiful except the hot tub's cover froze! Can't fault mother nature! We'll definitely be back!!!

“Best Kept Secret in Southwest Michigan-Heart of Wine Country” As a fairly well known celebrity, I was looking for privacy, seclusion and beauty. Away from it all but still close to many friends/family in Chicago. I have traveled to many places in my life and have been to Union Pier/Southwest Michigan a number of times in the past six years, but I have never expierienced an ambience so perfect that one has to experience it to believe it. No matter what I say, it will not do this wonderful property justice. I will try. Secluded and Private. The beautiful and quiet lake. The smell of the flowers and trees, the beautiful natural light, attention to detail, beautiful wood work, art, a beautiful kitchen with appliances and flatware, silverware, and glassware that are beautiful as much as they are functional, comfortable beds, a beautiful 3 season room overlooking the lake all create a very special environment. I dare to say that had it rained my entire stay, I would have been content to stay in the cottage and enjoy a property that the owner obviously holds dear. The property was clean, the amenities were beyond what one would find in a four or five star hotel, and all claims by the owner in the listing were accurate and truthful. The pictures accurately portrayed the layout and beauty of the cottage. I must say, I was as surprised to find that Sanctuaire is on a dead end in a quiet residential street with a wonderful neighborhood to stay and I found a number of excellent eating options although I must admit, I did cook one meal in the cottage due to the fact that there are wonderful market on Chemery Street. For those who like it, I found the French Restaurant an excellent choice. The Thai restaurant was also a great place to enjoy other ethnic cuisine. The cottage is conveninent and very close to Lake Michigan. And yes, it is minutes from the house. I hope to stay at the cottage again this fall. Thank you Mona. “Excellent place for a holiday family gathering.” Our family of 9 met at Hermitage Hills to celebrate Thanksgiving together. Each of our married couples had a room in this spacious estate and were able to rest and relax in a group and in pairs. The Lord provided gorgeous weather so we could also enjoy the beautiful grounds and ponds. Some wanted to do Black Friday shopping and were able to do that as well because outlet malls were not far away.

“Lovely stay after dry australia” I spent 4 wonderful days at this house over the 4th of July weekend in 2007 having just come from australia. We are experiencing a 6 year drought in australia and I was struck by how green the grass in the back yard that sweeps down to the lakes edge. We also have a fire ban active most of the time in australia, and I really enjoyed the fire ring in the back yard where we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows on a warm summer evening. I made a cherry pie and a blueberry pie while I was there in their well equipped kitchen. I was able to buy fresh/frozen berries and cherries at the store within walking distance (for you foodies reading this). The kitchen/living room has a nice layout in that the person cooking is not isolated from the fun happenings in the living room. The living room has lots of natural light and 2 sets of sliding doors that open onto a deck that looks out over the lake. We fished and took a 3 hour canoe ride up to one of the chain of lakes nearby leaving from the dock in front of the house. My daughter was 1 year old at the time and I remember there being a small sandy beach where she played. There was also a hammock that was close to the water under trees that provided some shade. Nice for reading. There was a nice mix of sun and shade near the lake (for those of us who have been burnt a few times too many). We lit the 2 oil lamps in the living room that set off a lovely warm glow one evening as we ate dinner. We walked into town and looked around. There were a few historic buildings that looked interesting although I didn't have time to investigate. There was a nice 4th of July celebration with a big chicken dinner and ice cream social. I look forward to going again.
