“Our Wonderful Golden Jubilee(Anniversary) Vacation” We love to travel, we lov e to see new things, learn about the cultureand a bit of the histoery of the places we visit. There are few places that we like to revisit. Akumal is the exception. We brought our whole family, our kids and grandkids. We told them this wouldn't be a sit on the beach vacation although we did do that also. This was our 50th Anniversary and we wanted to share this beautiful place with them. They were blown away with the beauty of the Bay, the Ocean and the Lagoon. We also visited many of the historical sites such as Chichen Itza and sone of the cenotes and ecological sites such as Xcaret. To top it off we had a gorgeous Villa with a swimming pool(our grandkids loved it) We also were blessed with a wonderful couple,Abelardo and Basilia who took care of our every need. I can't say enough good things about Abelardo and Bacilia. They were gourmet cooks and they kept the Villa spotless. You are fortunate to have 2 such wonderful employees. “Quit Incredible! Best stay of all in Cozumel” This house is really a treat in every way. The rooms are filled with light and air with gardens in view out each window. We spend a week here with a marvelous host named Marco. Not only was the house well equipped with every thing we needed it also offered a feel of serenity not found often in a renal home. The pool is completely private...no need for a swimming suit! We enjoyed the terrace just outside each bedroom. Each room had its own bathroom also. There are 2 bedroom in the main house with the 3rd bedroom offered in a small cottage located on the other side of the pool. The cottage gives a couple or individual real privacy and is just lovely. Marco is such a unique person offering his guest kindness and a real concern for your happiness. He is articulate, well traveled, well read, spirited with zeal for living. One could not find a better friend. He has a real sense of what a traveler needs for a perfect stay. Easy walk to several restaurants and just 2 blocks for the water, very safe feel to this neighborhood also. I for one will come back! I would not hesitate to recommend this home to any one, even those with the most discerning taste and experience.

“Beautiful home in lovely setting.” This home had all the amenities to make our family comfortable. We loved sitting on the patio in the morning watching hummingbirds and listening to howler monkeys in the distance. The extensive DVD collection was a hit with our kids during some of our down time. The location near the town of Nuevo arenal was nice for short trips to the grocery store and many restaurants.

“Great Stay” What a treasure to find! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Gazing out at the fields seated on the deck morning coffee, evening dinner. Luann and Don are so gracious and THOSE MUFFINS and Breakfast casserole, definately worth the stay. So much better than a 5 star hotel. Will be returning.

“Even better the pictures/videos portrayed.” Sanda,Steve and the staff were very helpful from start to finish. We absolutely loved the house and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. It is a beautiful Colonial home, decorated to a high standard and offers total privacy. This was our first visit to Mexico and were unsure what to expect. Merida is a fascinating, safe and friendly City and we will return soon, When we do we will return to Casablanca Living for sure. “Realxing in the DR” We had a great time spending a week at Lifestyle. Everything was what it was supposed to be. The staff at the resort were there to make sure you were enjoying yourself. I would not hesitate to tell anyone I can about how we booked our trip and how accomodating our host was.

Review #4627412 Fantastic Villa Our family spent two unforgettable weeks in late July and early august at Calicaribe, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, We can't say enough about Calicaribe. We loved the villa -- its layout and tasteful decor. The views of St Thomas, other islands, and Cruz Bay from the property, especially the guest house and the pool area, are breathtaking. Although the heat and humidity were high during the peak hours of each day, temperatures and humidity lowered late in the afternoon so that we could enjoy wine and cheese and the view, including spectacular sunsets, on the patio and dinner on the verandah. Pictures of the property on various websites don't do it justice. Calicaribe is much better than we expected. It is clean and very well maintained. Calicaribe is blessed with an excellent local property manager, Steve Black, who has lived in Cruz Bay for 25 years and is a constructive civic activist. Whenever we needed anything, Steve was prompt in his response. St John is truly paradise. We were fortunate to have a rental jeep to get around the island and to have our daughter and her partner do all the driving. The roads are challenging because the island is very hilly and the roads have very sharp turns, which means that one does not need to worry about exceeding the 20 mph speed limit. Opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving abound. The beaches (St John has 39 of them) are beautiful. We swam at four of them: Trunk Bay, Little Lameshur Bay, Hawksnest Bay, and Maho Bay. We ate out only three times because my daughter's partner loves to cook, and having dinner on the verandah was a pleasant experience. The Fish Trap and Zozo's are excellent restaurants in Cruz Bay, although the latter may be too expensive for some folks. We highly recommend a sojourn at Calicaribe. You'll get plenty of bang for your bucks.

“An Amazing Family Vacation!” Our family spent two weeks at Villa Leone in December 2014. There were 9 of us in total (6 adults and 3 children), and we truly had an amazing family vacation. The Villa itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The 'backyard' had a private pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. It was beautiful with plenty of space for eating, swimming and relaxing. The Villa and grounds were extremely well equipped and maintained and the incredible staff took care of our every need without delay. It was like staying at a private resort. Mr. Leone's recommendations with regards to travel arrangements, restaurants, attractions and options (i.e. private chef, etc.) were also extremely helpful and appreciated. Overall, if you are looking for a vacation that has everything but crowds, I would highly recommend Villa Leone.
