“Wonderful!” We have stayed at Southern Dunes for many years and have always loved being there. It may not have the ultimate in updated chi-chi decor or kitchen or bathrooms with granite counters etc, but it is still very nice. The location near the north end of the beach can't be beat, and you have everything you need at your fingertips. It's great for folks who like being outdoors; there's a small screened porch for enjoying meals outside where you can hear and watch the ocean and feel the breeze, the deck on the house and the "fantail" on the dunes are great for enjoying cocktails, dolphin or water-bird watching, and reading in the afternoon. There's loads of room on the deck for plenty of folks to gather. The bedrooms all have private baths, and are very comfortably sized. All but one open onto a balcony or deck and can be kept open for an ocean breeze at night, temperature permitting. The only thing I would change might be to have newer, more comfortable mattresses that don't sag.

“Clean & Great Value” We had a wonderful time in Pawleys Island and the condo was terrific. It was spacious, open, comfortable and clean! The enclosed porch and view were spectacular. The unit was very quiet. We enjoyed the pool and bath house the last day and again the whole facility was well manicured and clean; something very important to us.

“Making memories” We had a great time in Pawleys at your beach house! It was so convenient for our family(including two children) to go back and forth to the beach. We really enjoyed grilling out and having cocktails on the huge screened in porch. It was close to everything. “Best Vacation for time spent with family and grandchildrn” My husband and I have taken vacation for the past 2 years with our children and grandchildren and stayed in the Memolo House. After the first year I gave them several choices of vacation spots for the next year but everyone wanted to come back to the same place and the same house. The grandchildren are 6, 8, and 13 and they all had a wonderful time. The house is perfect for a large family with children. I would highly recommend the Memolo house or anything that one could get in the DeBordiue properties. It is like being on your own pivate Island. Everyone that I have delt with has been great to work with and always so helpful. The customer service is what one would expect in any exclusive property. We hope to make 20ll our third year straight for vacation and look forward to it. Syble Latta

“Best of the best!” We love Debordieu and our times visiting this wonderful South Carolina secret! Marsh House is our all time favorite and spending time in this lovely home is always fun. “Pioneer Place Villas have the best setting at DeBordieu.” DeBordieu is the most fabulous beach from Florida through Maryland. The lay-out of Pioneer Place Villas is breath-taking-- the manicured lawn, the blooming shrubbery, the palm trees, the pool and the beach. Beautiful. Our condo was just perfect and my family hopes to rent the same condo for a very long time

“Great vacation this year!” Lovely home on a quiet street not far from the Beach Club. It is well-furnished with nice kitchen and living room plus nice furnishings. Elevator was a nice amenity to help get the luggage and groceries up to the kitchen. The kitchen had a nice eating area and the appliances could use updating but were very adequate. There is a nice walk in pantry which offered good storage. We love renting from Debordieu Rental because they are so friendly and most accommodating! Their standards are high and they keep the properties well maintained. They arranged the golf cart for us and that was probably the best part of the vacation as far as the children are concerned! Great experience! This is our 3rd year renting there and We hope to return again next year.

“A great place to stay!” This is a fabulous home--very conveniently located on the beach. It has great porches and decks, large dining room table, great kitchen. I cannot say enough about this home. This is the second year we have rented. We switched to another house after the first year totally due to expense but switched back. This house is expensive but has all the extras.
