“Wonderful!” We have stayed at Southern Dunes for many years and have always loved being there. It may not have the ultimate in updated chi-chi decor or kitchen or bathrooms with granite counters etc, but it is still very nice. The location near the north end of the beach can't be beat, and you have everything you need at your fingertips. It's great for folks who like being outdoors; there's a small screened porch for enjoying meals outside where you can hear and watch the ocean and feel the breeze, the deck on the house and the "fantail" on the dunes are great for enjoying cocktails, dolphin or water-bird watching, and reading in the afternoon. There's loads of room on the deck for plenty of folks to gather. The bedrooms all have private baths, and are very comfortably sized. All but one open onto a balcony or deck and can be kept open for an ocean breeze at night, temperature permitting. The only thing I would change might be to have newer, more comfortable mattresses that don't sag.

“Clean & Great Value” We had a wonderful time in Pawleys Island and the condo was terrific. It was spacious, open, comfortable and clean! The enclosed porch and view were spectacular. The unit was very quiet. We enjoyed the pool and bath house the last day and again the whole facility was well manicured and clean; something very important to us.

“Outstanding Condo” We were very impressed with the condo from the minute we walked through the door. I feel like it is our home away from home and am looking forward to going back soon. The condo was VERY clean and had everything we needed to cook meals for our family, including a charcoal BBQ grill outside. The beds were extremely comfortable and the furniture looked brand new. We went to the beach during the day and to the pool and Jacuzzi in the evenings. There is a pool/jacuzzi across the street from the condo, which was very nice and then a bigger pool a short drive away. The residents we met at the pool were very nice and welcoming. We made use of the balcony to relax in the morning with a cup of tea and in the evening with a nice cold beverage. The True Blue grounds are nicely landscaped. We had previously stayed at other condos in the Myrtle Beach area, but we will never go back that way. This is way more laid back and not so commercial. Lots of local shopping spots, we liked BiLo supermarket, Bargain Beachwear, Quigley's for dinner (get the nachos) and definitely go to Surf The Earth. We did drive to Myrtle Beach - Broadway at the Beach for an evening of something different to do. I can't wait to come back for another visit. I highly recommend Mickey's condo for your family.

“Have stayed in unit for past 5 years” I have rented Nadines unit for the past 5 years and have never had a problem, The unit has been upgraded over the years and has always been very clean. All of the units appliances work as they should, and the air condition was always cold. I will continue to rent this unit for our two week summer vacations. Thank you Nadine.

“Making memories” We had a great time in Pawleys at your beach house! It was so convenient for our family(including two children) to go back and forth to the beach. We really enjoyed grilling out and having cocktails on the huge screened in porch. It was close to everything. “Great long weekend” We had a great time. They never last long enough at DeBordieu. Wish I had known the member-member was that weekend, I would have come down the next weekend.Not the end of the world, we'll just have to come back soon. Service was great and everyone very accommodating.

“Priceless Memories” What a memorable time we had in this glorious house. Everything we needed was right there. Even cooking in this kitchen wasn't work. Game nights were great fun. Staying in was as enjoyable as going out. I hope we will be able to stay here again.

“wonderful beach vacation for family with young children” Our favorite aspect of vacationing at Debordieu is the beautiful, natural location, trails and paths, and coastal wildlife. The amenities are also very nice including the swimming pool, etc. Our least favorite aspect of the vacation this year was the home itself which did not appear to have been cleaned well before our arrival. There were cobwebs and spiderwebs in the corners, dead bugs on the floors, and dust on the bookshelves, etc. Also, there were many live spiders and bugs in the home.

“Roomy and Casual” We enjoyed our summer vacation at Kitchens. The house was comfortable and casual with plenty of rooms for relatives/friends. The house was kid friendly too, with a basement game room with ping pong table. Our favorite part was the screened porch where we all gathered in the afternoon. The joggling board was a hit with the kids! Old fashioned fun!
