“Great Vacation Home” Just went for two days for the kids mid-winter vacation. The place was lovely. It was very clean and well organized. The beautiful wood and great fireplace created a warm charming atmosphere. Great size bedrooms. Mark was just wonderful to deal with. He was flexible and his instructions for the use of everyting was very clear. We had a large group and found it very comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

“Perfect Family Vacation Spot!” We scoured this and other websites for two months looking for the perfect spot for our first vacation as a young family of four... and we found it at this lovely home! Around every corner was exciting new activities for both kids and adults. At the end of each day of our stay, my three-year-old and one-year-old each passed out with exhaustion after a day of playing at the beach, marveling at nearby waterfalls, exploring the lake via kayaks and canoes, and playing with the numerous toys and books throughout the house. And when they did pass out, we adults got to enjoy grilled steaks and a nice bottle of wine overlooking beautiful sunsets over the lake from the second floor deck. I think my three-year-old said it best: "I love the lake house daddy; can we come back again and again?" Indeed. Great owners as well -- thorough, clean, and responsive.

“Cabin camp - remote but not too much...” This was perfect for what we were seeking. The cabin is well maintained and is as it was described. The fire ring was a great gathering space and the picnic table was perfect for dinner and breakfast. The interior was nice - definitely a cabin but not too rustic by any means. The access to Moshannon (hiking, canoeing, beach, etc.) was easy and Jackson's Bar & Grill a short drive (Winburne, PA) we had a perfect weekend. Communication with the owner was timely and easy.

“Would Rent Again” The house was clean and had everything we needed. Maggie and her husband were very flexible and accommodating. I was with a party of six and we had enough space to all sit around the dinning table. I would definitely rent again.

“Connecting with the land” My girlfriend (Katherine) and I stayed here this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. Mary and Russel are incredibly nice people, and so are their miniature horses and donkeys! The cabin is absolutely beautiful with a fascinating history. I'm pretty sure Katie's life was changed by this weekend, as she now wants to own a farm with donkeys. I've already recommended this place to many of my friends and will continue to do so. Awesome rates for what you get! We are definitely coming back next year, if not in the next few months. I would love to see what its like to stay there with a blanket of snow on the ground. “Perfect Getaway in the Poconos” We had a lovely time staying in your condo over the Christmas break. It was our first time skiing and snowboarding and we had a lot of fun tumbling down the mountain. It was great to come back to the condo to relax and nurse our aches and pains with a hot chocolate in front the fire. The condo was perfect - it felt like home - very comfortable and beautifully situated on the lake and with views of Big Boulder mountain from the balcony. Joanne was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back in summer! Highly recommended.

“Charming property inside and out with all the comforts of home” I recently stayed here with a group of friends looking for a short weekend getaway. The atmosphere was relaxed, everything functional, the beds comfortable, and the rooms clean and homey. Pat and Nadine were wonderful hosts and definitely put thought and effort in to creating an atmosphere that felt like home. Spacious rooms, bathroom, and a great meeting area downstairs with kitchen and dining area to hang out.

“Home Away from Home Only Better” We love this house. It is so warm and cozy. As soon as you step in, you feel right at home. There is plenty of room and open space. The fireplace and living room are incredibly tranquil. There is plenty of sleeping space and bathroom space. The bathrooms are updated and nice and clean. I love the that you don't feel on top of one another. The decor is warm. The views are incredible. We can only imagine how it will be in the summer with the Lake. I can't wait to come back.
