“Escape from reality” My husband and I both have high-pressure jobs. We were looking for an escape from the grind. We found it at Water's Edge. As we entered the gate of this quaint island paradise reality melted away. The main living area is open and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. But I can't say that we spent much time in the house... The view from the back patio is breathtaking. The doors open to a beautiful outdoor living space which overlooks the Caribbean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside! The days were lazy, filled with much needed R&R.; We read books, napped in the hammock, and simply enjoyed the sun and the seascape. The home has direct access to the water, and the pool is perfect for that quick dip to cool off. Although we were looking for a quiet getaway, nightlife was not far away. We found it easy to get over to Paradise Island for some dinner and gambling at atlantis. We enjoyed our trip so much we returned with our daughter the following year. She enjoyed it as much as we did. We've got a new baby at home, but are looking forward to getting back to Water's Edge soon.

“Best family holiday we have had in ages” This is a really lovely place. The pool area and cabana are private and very user friendly. Beach in the morning and sheltered pool area in the afternoon, ideal with 3 teenagers. Bedrooms are spacious and everything works. We didn't bother with a/c just opened the house up and used the ceiling fans. Plenty of living space and room for people to do their own thing if they wanted to. Close to most things but far enough away from noise and crowds. It helps that Maui is absolutely brilliant. Andrew leaves you alone but is readily available to help with any minor issues. The kids said it was the best family holiday they have been on in ages. We agree.

“Relaxing and carefree” We had such a wonderful and memorable weekend. Very picturesque and ever so quiet when you're there mid season. There were wineries and breweries within a short driving distance, and the local restaurants are spot on. I would not suggest using GPS, it gets you in the vicinity but not to the right house. Thank goodness for pictures of the house. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful, but bring your own trash bags and sandwich bags etc. The master bath and bed is very nice. We loved the bed so much that we are buying a mattress exactly like it because we slept so well. My only other suggestion would be to have the house ready for arrival. The house was cold, and the entry way was not swept, I picked up a few pieces of trash laying around on the driveway, but I am a Manager of a very nice Boutique Hotel so I notice these small things. All in all it was so lovely and I would definitely stay again.

“Our Spirits were renewed!” Things don't happen by chance! Little did we know six months ago when we booked our vacation how much we would really, really NEED a quiet and peaceful week! This little corner of Marathon is exactly that: quiet and peaceful. The condo is very comfortably furnished, very clean, and the view is - well, I don't think there is a 'better' view anywhere! It's picture perfect - even to the gorgeous green iguana on the palm tree! (but you have to look quick - they move fast!). We had our son, daughter in law and two little grandkids with us...it was perfect! Sunrise with coffee by the pool, under the Chickee or on the patio...awesome! Lots to do for families or singles very close by...yup...you really can even have pizza delivered if you don't want delicious, fresh seafood!..and wow! are there some awesome spots for that!! Communication with the owners is impeccable...could NOT be better. These are the folks with whom you love to do business!! Thanks so much, Todd and Jamie!

“Wonderful Vacation! Amazing home” What a beautiful home and a lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend hiring a car, there is a lot to see and do locally. We went into the town several times and enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. The highlight of our trip was renting a small boat with local fisherman for the day - he took us to Coronado Island where we snorkeled, beachcombed and sunbathed. A really wonderful experience that I highly recommend. The Loreto Bay community is very friendly, although it is an older crowd - 55+ but we had a fun time, being invited to several impromptu happy hours at local homes and enjoying an open mic night at the local wine bar!! A really wonderful vacation - I will be back again for sure!

“A great and fun place to stay” The house is spectacular. Very very well stocked and the manager Al made sure we had everything we needed and even came out a couple of times to quickly address any concerns we had. Very very close access to the beach and dock. Garage well stocked with water toys, chairs, fishing rods, etc. Everything you need. Abundant toiletries, towels, games and entertainment made for a very comfortable stay. Gift basket was a nice touch. Super easy checkout! We will definitely look to rent from again if we ever come back to the area, which we hope to do someday. Thanks!

“Peaceful, homey cabin on bay near Gulf beaches” We loved this cabin! I hung out on the wayside dock with a crane next door while watching beautiful sunsets. The Gulf beaches are close by, easy to access, and not crowded. The cabin reminds me of what Gulf Shores used to be like before all the development on the beach. This is a wonderful site for a family vacation.

“Fantastic Kam Sands Condo!!!” We have stayed at Kamaole Sands a number of times now, and this is the best unit that we have found. “Book This Now!!” This was the most wonderful property for our week in San Juan! Four doors to a beautiful beach - neat and tidy apt with ample linens, utensils, etc - comfortable bed - good water pressure in the shower - cold a/c - consistent wifi service - thoughtful extras like beach chairs and drinking water - very safe location - quiet and friendly neighbors - walkably close to good restaurants for eating out and Walgreens for essentials - close to bus and trolley pick-up points - and the nicest, most helpful hosts we could have asked for! They provided a detailed map for nearby points of interest which was tremendously helpful to us as first-timers. Such a relaxing week with walks among the gated neighborhood streets, freedom to go back and forth to the beach in a quick few minutes and meeting people from all over the world also staying in the area. This is a fabulous location at a super price! We are already scheming how to return to this spot again!!

“Great little getaway.” My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Colorado Springs and it was great to have a nice, clean and comfortable place to spend our evenings following days of "adventure" in the mountains. From Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls and the train ride into the Royal Gorge to quiet evenings at "home" in this well appointed little Victorian cottage . . . wish we could have spent a couple more days. Carrie was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this as a home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped as well as washer & dryer for laundry (neither of which I used), although I had good intentions. LOL! Thanks, Carrie, for your wonderful hospitality.
