“Retired” Our visit to Galveston was enjoyable but what made the vacation even more enjoyable was the fantastic beach house which was really only one half block from the beach. The house had everything that was needed to make yourself feel at home. All amenities were on hand and if you needed anything, the owner, Brenda, was available for every request. She went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Brenda.

“Finally able to relax.” Friendly helpful service. Very Clean, comfortable and fully functional. Felt secure. Close to elevators, close to pool but still for enough away for a little privacy.No traffic noise. High enough for great view of the gulf through the palms, but close enough to the ground for a beach experience instead of nose bleed. Some may say the kitchen might need an update but the pictures are accurate. We were fine with it.

“I had such an amazing time at Hattie's Place, Too, I will never” Hattie's Place, Too was just what the doctor ordered, seriously. After a family tragedy, I needed to get away. I loved Galveston as a child and thought of how happy I was there. I did not want to stay in hotel and really wanted some privacy. On a whim I called Hattie's Place and the owner, Deborah answered, I explained I needed to get away, just needed some down time. She was so warm and personable, I shared more than I had planned. When I arrived, I felt I was greeted by a friend. The accommodations definitely did not disappoint me. There is a certain charm and warmth that was very soothing to my soul. The thing I liked the least is that I had to leave. When I am in Galveston again, I plan a longer stay at my home away from home. Thank you, Deborah for your kindness.
