“The perfect trip! Awesome!” Wife and I recently spent our 15th anniversary in "A Mountain Dream"...and, it was a dream, indeed! “Great time at King's Mountain Laurel” We are two adventurous Senior Adult couples who wanted to get away from it all for Thanksgiving. That's exactly what we found at this lovely cabin on top of this mountain, and the owner was warm and friendly. We were comfy, warm and the views from the porch was incredible! The driveway was a thrill and not for the faint of heart, but we had an experienced driver so we had no problems. Daniel's Steakhouse served a great Thanksgiving meal; Georgia Mountain Restruant had a great breakfast, and we shopped and explored the surrounding area on Friday...Don't miss Bell Mountain (another thrill) in Hiawassee, and Mark of the Potter in Clarksville. “Wish I could live here!!!” My husband and I stayed here for an extended weekend with our five year old son. We have stayed in numerous cabins throughout the Boone area and this one is by far, the best one yet! The cabin has all of the amentities of a home, just bring your clothes and some food and you're all set! The cabin is very comfy, tastefully decorated and in a perfect location. We were far enough away from Boone to truly relax yet there is a grocery store five minutes away. We grilled out each evening on the wonderful wrap around deck. The sunset view from the deck and hot tub are absolutely amazing! I wish I could experience this every evening! My son fell in love with the hot tub, we could not get him out of there!! We truly appreciate the little things about this cabin. There were fun games, Netflix access (which was great for our son!!), etc. My husband was impressed with the surprise beer he found waiting for us and I enjoyed the complimentary wine :) This is truly a home away from home. I was very sad to leave and we will definitely be back, hopefully very soon :)

“Quiet, Crazy Wonderful” Dutura - Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, lush, green, roomy, comfortable, spacious! Dutura Staff - Amazing, kind, caretakers, fun, Great Cooks, great trainer, attentive, major attention to details that make you feel comfortable. Those are the words that describe this place. We were met with warmth and smiles. Chisholm took us to some great spots for Crazy adventures but really safe. Then home to an amazing staff that felt like family from day one! We stepped out of our comfort zones, we rested, we ate, we laughed, we Yogaed, we walked in beauty, we were challenged and we did not want to leave. Thank you Randel and Dutura for an experience we will never forget. We were the crazy 8's becoming indigenous! haha inside joke!

“Wonderful historic home, beautifully decorated and spacious enough to host many guests.” It was a dream come true to stay in a historical home. The property was tastefully decorated and maintained the feel from an earlier era, but yet had all of the modern conveniences we enjoy today. It was a joy to wind up the driveway each day line by the rock wall to the spacious home that awaited us. The nights were cool enough to doze of to sleep each evening by the warmth of the fire place. And the accommodations and rooms were ample enough to have family and friends as overnight guest without feeling squeezed for space. Further, we hosted several more guests for multiple dinners with ease. The spacious home provides inviting places inside and out for parties to dine and recline. The owner of the home Julie has thought of everything. Can't wait to return.

“The perfect getaway location!” I cannot say enough nice things about this rental property- from the first email contact to the last, the Millers were outstanding with communication. The property offers a fantastic view of the valley that hypnotizes- before you know it, you've sat on the porch rocking the afternoon away. The cabin itself had everything you could ask for and more- just bring the food and you're good to go. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils & I was able to cook two nights/one morning there without needing a certain pot, pan, or spatula. The living room was cosy and there was enough t.v. channel variety to keep my teenage boys occupied during the short rainy period. The cabin was centrally located and we visited a mine, movie theater, grocery store, arcade, and several restaurants in the area all with in 20-30 minutes, many much less. I plan on making a return trip as soon as I can!

“What peace and quiet with beautiful view” Want a get away to relax and have a glass of wine while sitting in a hot tub? Well this cabin provides everything from the well decorated and clean interior to the outstanding decks with views. We loved the peace and quiet. This cabin has been decorated perfectly and was so clean. The owner could not be nicer. The view from the second floor balcony was perfect to watch the sun set. Breakfast out on the main deck was also great along with the opportunity to grill some steaks out doors. Great place and I would highly reoommend it.

“Life Changing” I stayed at Silent water's villa with my family some years back. I must agree that the feeling when you first arrive at this villa is the most special aspect. When we arrived at the villa, the full staff of about 10 people were uniformed, in a row and waiting the greet us! When our guests walked into the main entrance of the property, they were completely blown away. We occupied the entire space, including the owner's suite, and it was an experience that has put a positive outlook on our lives ever after! If you have the chance, stay at Silent Waters.

“R & R at it's Finest!” I have stayed at this Villa three years in a row and am planning on going again for 2 weeks in February 2015! It is relaxing, comfortable and spacious and the staff are amazing as Sophia is the best and will make your stay incredible. I can't wait to return for my 4th visit!

“Best Vacation Ever!” My family and I stayed at Point Of View Villa last Christmas. We had a fantastic time! The Villa was beautiful and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. It was wonderful to find a place away from all the tourist traps and high prices, but still be able to take short trips to see many of Jamaica's attractions. My family and I are definitely coming back! Having our own private cook was great, we all loved her cooking and professional service, it was more than we had hoped for. We have stayed other places and this was by far the best. The owner was very helpful advising us. Highly recommended!!!

“Awesome Cabin!!” My husband and I rented this property for the July 4th weekend. His sister and her husband traveled with us. At first we thought we were going to the end of the Earth, but after finding the cabin we were all very pleased. It was very nice! Clean, spacious, and private. Giving each couple their own bedroom and bathroom. Best of all, Liz, is an amazing hostess, checking in with us daily to be sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this cabin for a nice relaxing weekend.
