“Beautiful Setting, Relaxing Stay” This is our second visit to Tankah Bay and it's pretty hard to beat our first stay. This was definitely comparable. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and perfect for what we wanted. The caretakers were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating for our needs. I recommend taking advantage of their cooking skills, it will add to your relaxing experience and the food was excellent. Everyday you can stroll on the beach, take a swim, snorkel and kayak. Everything is right there, almost no need to leave the property. Within walking distance you have the Manatee Cenote, I highly recommend, just go early because it can get busy. Also, within walking distance, you have two bar/restaurants. My favorite part of the day was relaxing under the palapa, right on water, watching the birds hunt and dive. The beach side of the villa also offers privacy with a patio and lounging areas sheltered by hedges. I'd like to give a special thank-you to the property manager who provided us with fresh eggs from a local farm when the grocery store ran out of them just before Christmas. The Tulum ruins are a must see, as well as the Coba ruins. If you are adventurous, you can climb largest ruin in Coba and get an amazing view of the jungle. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but, you'll have to find out for yourselves! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this stunning villa. A much needed escape from the gray and cold of winter.

“Awesome Place to Hideaway!” My husband and I returned to Aruba for our 15 year anniversary. Can't say enough how wonderful the place was! Not only was the place great but the owner Kris is top-notch! He was always available if we needed anything. The top condo has a great view of the ocean. That is where we liked to be at night after dinner. Just relaxing. I really had no worries as this place had a pool and was close to great restaurants and beaches. We would definitely come back!

“Cozy cabin and beautiful area” Cabin is clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet and serene area, yet close to hiking and skiing. cabin was well stocked and decorated tastefully. Owner was responsive and accomodating to our special requests.

“A relaxing holiday set on a gorgeous bay in Jamaica.” My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Le Mer. The owners, Karin and Coleman were attentive and accommodating throughout our stay. For a reasonable price Karin picked us up at the airport and took us to the Mega Mart in Montego Bay to get supplies for our week long stay. Karin, for a reasonable price also took us into Lucea for a needed stop at the aTM, to beautiful and exciting Mayfield Falls (quite an adventure); Half-moon Bay and our transfer to Negril. Le Mer is ideal for a quiet getaway in a tropical setting. It's location on the ocean is great for snorkelling in the sheltered bay in front of the property. Ocean access is easy with a ladder or you can jump or dive right in! The coral is in good shape and recovering. We saw some smaller fish, octopi and cuttlefish but no bigger fish. There are also two nice beaches at Bull's Bay, a 10 minute walk up the road. You can pick up a cold red strip after your swim at a small shop nearby! This beach is safe and used by friendly locals. The bedrooms are huge and have a private balcony. The ensuite bathrooms have generous amounts of hot water provided form solar energy. Spacious living areas are available and a great place to meet other travellers. The mosaic tiled bar separating the kitchen from the other common areas proved to be a favourite place to sit and chat with new friends. The tables in the dining room are quite unique, look handcrafted and are a comfortable place to dine with a wonderful view of the sunset over the Bay. The large, well kept pool was a favourite spot to catch the morning breeze and a refreshing dip at any time of the day! This place is ideal if you are travelling as a larger group as you could occupy one or both of the two villas. The dogs which provide security are friendly and we enjoyed their company. They are well behaved and can be tethered if you are uncomfortable around them. In summary; great value for the money, a safe, secure environment; at a Beautiful location

“Absolutely Wonderful & Perfect!” I would most definitely recommend Casa Frida to anyone looking for a place to stay in Merida!My husband and I felt like Katia and her mother, Patricia, went the extra mile to meet our every need. They made my family feel at home and welcome throughout our entire stay. The house was clean, beautiful and cozy! They provide you with cookware, utensils, etc. which made my stay with 2 children a lot easier!! The aC kept us nice and cool throughout our stay, as well as the gorgeous pool in the patio. The temperature of the water was perfect, and laying in the hammock was very relaxing. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and peaceful. There are many restaurants and stores close by, as well as the Centro Historico. I would absolutely recommend Casa Frida to anyone that is looking for a vacation rental! “Green paradise with great pool, great food, beautiful gardens.” This place was great! You're on top of a mountain so the views are breathtaking. The gardens are incredible with all kinds of edible fruits, neat birds and pretty flowers. Our family loved the pool, with a fully shaded wading pool for our little guy, plus the big pool and a hammock in the shade (only meters from the wading pool so you can relax while they splash). We were there with a big group and spent our nights in one of the smaller rooms in the villa, the luxurious master bedroom was incredible though (even has a beday!) The traditional Jamaican cuisine was fantastic! I would definitely recommend choosing the cook option because it's about a 20minute drive down a bumpy road to get to town, and it's really nice (and affordable) to just have the cooking and dishes all taken care of. The atmosphere was really relaxing. The smaller bedrooms were a little unfinished but the owner said he's going to be sprucing things up a little in the next couple months. He was great about fixing things we asked for (got a new toaster oven to replace an old one, fixed our squeaky bedroom door and got us a waste basket for our room when we asked). The snorkeling and river walk that he set up for us were fantastic. If you're looking for an authentic Jamaican experience this is the spot for you.

“*****STUNNING****” this house accomadated all of our needs and more and we have a family of 6. it was so nice to be able to come from the beach to and come home TO this beautiful house thats tucked away in a good neighborhood at the end of a culdesac with a huge yard!!! my kids loved catching all the butterflies and lizards lol! it was definately alot more then we bargained for.its even right down thr street from walmart, the beach etc.!!! we absolutely loved it and jenn was amazing. i highly recommend this home to any one. we will definately will be back!!! thanks again for letting us stay in your beautiful home jenn!!! “Awesome Rooftop Condo in Perfect Playa location!” I had rented a condo one other time in Playa and I have to say the one thing that made this rental better was the personal response of the owner himself. Not only was the condo a great place but the owner made sure that the rental process was just as great. Ron was extremely helpful and supplied us with everything we needed to have the very best vacation experience. I would definitely rent Casa Dorothea again! The location of the condo is in the heart of Playa. Within walking distance to so many places including the Mega grocery store and Walmart. We had a private rooftop which is another huge asset. An awesome experience all around!

“Beautiful house, conveniently located with easy access to major attractions” This beautiful house is conveniently located near the major attractions we were interested (the Wild center, Paul Smith’s VIC, the downtown Lake Placid, Whiteface mountain, and Ausable chasm). It is off rt. 30 in a secluded wooded area, so it is extremely easy to get around. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owners and care taker were very friendly and checked several times during our stay to see what else we need and whether we have any concern. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to stay there again in future.

“Mrs” Perfect in every way. Condo was spotless and had everything we could need. Pool was right out the door. Couldn't see the beach from the Condo but a very short walk We had a small maintance problem. Made one phone call and it was fixed within the hour. We will be back
