“Perfect Place in Essaouira” Essaouira is amazing and this Riad was the perfect place to stay! Location was great - easy to find - which says a lot because it's easy to get lost anywhere in Morocco! The riad is a short walk from lots of shopping and cafes. Essaouira is like a mini-Marrakech and there are no cars allowed inside the gates so you enjoy the walk. There is a little store just around the corner if you need to run out for a Coke or cigs. You're not too far from the gate (Bab) either. Felt at home as soon as we walked in. The bedrooms were all good sized - plenty of room for the 6 of us (all adults, friends and couples). Bathrooms were all updated and very nice. Kitchen was fully equipped - everything we needed. The entire house was very well taken care of - a really nice place. The bottom floor we didn't really use, but it would be perfect for someone who wanted to read a book and have some quiet time away from the group. The roof top terrace was lovely and where we spent almost all of our time. Outside was especially nice for breakfast. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ZARA!!! I requested vegetarian tajine for our arrival dinner. My Moroccan friends who were with me laughed at my request but then were AMAZED at how wonderful it was... Zara was hired immediately on the spot for all meals the remainder of our stay - and everything was delicious! As others have commented, her couscous was great, but her tajine was to die for! The riad manager was friendly and more than helpful. They can arrange any day trips, excursions, etc. (I recommend horseback or camel riding on the beach). The owner was easy to deal with and accommodated my changing schedule with no issue. We were extremely well taken care of the entire week. I have nothing negative to say about this place! Lovely, lovely stay and I will definitely stay again!

“True Oasis” This Villa is really spacious and ideal for large families. The rooms are very spacious and having 2 dining tables really helps when you want to break away the kids from the adults. The lawns outside are perfectly manicured and the pool is gorgeous though it was a bit cold. The house is a little distance from the medina in Essaouira as there is a 2 km dirt road that is the only link to the main road. The house is very relaxing as with the space you don't feel you are on top of each other. My only suggestions are to include basic amenities in the bathroom like soap and better quality towels

“Our fifth visit” Yes, our fifth visit to this very special Medina-wall house was again, just fantastic. The location could not be more central, and the proximity to the beach thrills us. Architecturally, the house is interesting and wears well. Fatima, the caretaker, is an angel on earth. Spend the extra money and have her cook for you. You can't eat better in the town than at Fatima's table!

“very lovely house” stayed there for 4 nights in december. decided very last minute to stay there and organisation was easy. Emma answered very quickly and friendly. pick up from busstation was organised. dinner for the evening ready made and albsolutely delicious!!! next morning Emma showed us around town which was perfect to get to know the place. house is in the middle of the old medina so perfectely located. beautiful house with fire place and very nicely decorated. because it was december it got a little cold at night time, but with the fireplace and even electric heating it was no problem. would recommand it to anyone to stay there.
