“Peaceful, homey cabin on bay near Gulf beaches” We loved this cabin! I hung out on the wayside dock with a crane next door while watching beautiful sunsets. The Gulf beaches are close by, easy to access, and not crowded. The cabin reminds me of what Gulf Shores used to be like before all the development on the beach. This is a wonderful site for a family vacation.

“Absolutely fabulous!” Very clean & neat, everything you would need as far as kitchen, etc.- gas grill, pots/pans, cooking utensils, baggies/foil/wrap. Beds were very comfy & living area very comfortable & welcoming. Outdoor patio area has nice lounge furniture & great view. We loved it!! Beach front property with superb service and great location!

“Great place” This is a fantastic house. Comfortable and quiet. Great location. Beautiful beach. Close to everything in town but without the noisy crowds of other oceanside villages. You are guaranteed a great time here.

“Mrs” Perfect in every way. Condo was spotless and had everything we could need. Pool was right out the door. Couldn't see the beach from the Condo but a very short walk We had a small maintance problem. Made one phone call and it was fixed within the hour. We will be back

“Highly recommended” Beautiful location, and the house was very clean & cozy. House has everything you need to make it feel like you are at home. Beautiful scenery form the back and front decks, and our kids enjoyed kayaking in the canal. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

“*****STUNNING****” this house accomadated all of our needs and more and we have a family of 6. it was so nice to be able to come from the beach to and come home TO this beautiful house thats tucked away in a good neighborhood at the end of a culdesac with a huge yard!!! my kids loved catching all the butterflies and lizards lol! it was definately alot more then we bargained for.its even right down thr street from walmart, the beach etc.!!! we absolutely loved it and jenn was amazing. i highly recommend this home to any one. we will definately will be back!!! thanks again for letting us stay in your beautiful home jenn!!! “Paradise” We were in heaven! This property is secluded and beyond peaceful. The house looks out on a small harbor and quiet beach with rare birds. The sunsets are extraordinary and we enjoyed many nights lounging on the porch, drinking wine, nibbling cheese or grilling (freshly caught!) fish and watching the sky turn colors before it got dark (and then we were faced with brilliant stars--we're New Yorkers so we don't get night skies like this!) The house is spacious, yet very cozy. The master bedroom has an amazing (huge!) shower and jacuzzi. The living room has big comfy couches, throw pillows and a working fireplace. One night we roasted marshmallows and played cards. A perfect stay-in evening. I feel I should also say--this house is stocked! The kitchen comes with everything you could want if you're a foodie (we grilled, made mixed drinks, made sushi one night, baked muffins, everything.) There is great cable including HBO and a video library, as well as games for kids if you should need. We loved to bike some days to a nearby beach (Madaket, about 15 minutes away) where there was a little more action than our private one (a taco restaurant called The Westender and spot with bigger surf where we went to boogie board.) The house has beach balls, paddle ball, and buckets for building sand castles. The bikes provided by owners are in great shape and there were also helmets available. Additionally, we loved that there were ocean kayaks, though we didn't have a chance to use them. Mostly, I think we all appreciated that we could completely unwind in this peaceful spot, read, sleep in, enjoy the beauty of the island, etc., but also get into town quickly if we wanted to go out for dinner or get drinks. Getting to Cisco is also a pretty quick trip--and we went twice to the brewery to get a drink after the beach and listen to live music. Overall, this was one of my best vacations in recent memory. You must try this part of the island and

“Sweetheart was AWESOME” Sweetheart did not disappoint! It was a perfect place to go and "disconnect" and yet still close enough to fulfill any needs from the "real world". We enjoyed the small lake side location for walks with our dog, the hot tub for relaxing afternoon soak, the "retro Atari" gaming system and collection of board games for night time activities, and the over all peace and serenity was just what was needed for a break from the "rat race" of everyday life. Thanks to Aimee and Michael for your attention to detail for the decorations and materials provided to enhance our stay.

“A "Must" Place to Visit!” This new cottage is absolutely wonderful. It is very open and at the same time so cozy in a beautiful country atmosphere. The inside decor was unique and beautiful with a big flat screen TV over the mantel and wonderful kitchen. My husband, grandson (17), and son-in-law caught beautiful, huge bass in the lake behind the house, but released them all. If you ever get the opportunity and want a beautiful relaxing experience, this is a "must" place to visit! Jim and Paula archer were wonderful hosts and very helpful in every way.

“Good choice and value” Kevin and Kelly couldn't have been more friendly and willing to help. We had no power for a while and lost internet and they were right on it. They were more than available to help with things to do and as hosts were top notch. The place is pretty basic and adequate. The mattresses could use to be replaced and the kitchen stuff is very basic but works. It's on a beautiful lake and it is quiet. There's a beautiful lawn area to sit, just lovely. And if you like loons, you'll hear them and see them frequently. A good choice and a good value.
