“Lovely Retreat Space” Whether you want to organize a personal or group retreat, gather the family for a vacation, or spend a romantic wknd with your partner- this vacation home accommodates all. Living and dining spaces have gigantic picture windows with expansive views of Holmes Harbor and the mountains behind them. You can spend hours on the desk watching the tides coming and going, eagles being chased by ravens, or bask in the sun. It only takes a few steps to cross the lawn and you are on the beach, from which you can launch your boat, or collect sand dollars and shells. Oh, and before I forget: the house also comes with an extensive CD collection with selections from all genres-- and you can turn up the music and dance and sing to your heart's content. We had a soulful retreat at "Baby Beach" and left tons of good energy behind !

“Location, Location, Location” We wanted an affordable and comfortable space with a homey feel. Pilots Cottage fit the bill. The location just off the water was so pretty in the morning. Conveniently located so we could easily get to every place we needed to in and around Port Townsend. Lots of quaint character that added to the charm. Our trip was truly enjoyable and we'd readily stay there again.

Quiet area, well maintained home, view from the deck unsurpassed. The picture does not do it justice. Fantastic island with more things to do than we could get to in 10 days. Beachfront Cabin on private, secluded Bells Beach 5 minutes from Langley Village
Perfect little cabin on the water

We loved our stay at the Bells Beach Cabin! It was perfect for a "just the two of us" weekend away to celebrate our Anniversary. It looks tiny from the front but inside it is surprisingly spacious, with everything we could have needed. The decor is cute and cabin-y while very clean and well-appointed. The backyard is right on the water for beautiful views of the Saratoga Passage and neighboring Camano Island. The huge covered patio was the perfect spot to enjoy coffee and watch the sunrise. The outdoor fireplace was awesome and we would have loved to use it in the evenings but, sadly/understandably, there is currently a burn ban. There are neighbors, which we heard a little but never saw, and overall the feeling is private thanks to privacy screening enclosing the patio. Proximity to the charming town of Langley was very convenient, I'd say about a 10 minute drive. Also, I appreciate that there is no formalized check-in/out process. The owner gives you the access code and you just follow the posted instructions for securing the place before you leave. It kind of makes you feel like it's "your place." This was a wonderful house right on the water in Freeland, Wa. Not only is this probably the best location on the whole bay, but the house has everything you need to have a great time. Within walking distance to great stores that have everything you need. Harbor Hideaway Waterfront Vacation Home
Unbelievable, stunning view

The view from the deck off of the kitchen was wonderful. The deck was big enough for our group to spend lots of time on. It was very peaceful. Both fire pits were set up with wood and ready to go. The ground level didn't have an open area to set up beds in, just the two bedrooms, but the owner, John, was willing to let us set up a tent outside and a rollaway bed in the gazebo to accommodate the twenty somethings. The house is very close to Freeland, which had a nice grocery store and hardware store. We're glad we chose Whidbey Island, it is very relaxed and uncrowded, yet still not far from whale watching and other activities. We cooked almost all of our meals in the big kitchen and had everything we needed. John's dog Audie was adorable and would come and visit us, which everyone loved. … see more
