“Great Michigan Getaway!” Our stay at Indian Pointe was beyond our expectations! The house and amenities were great! The only thing I will now know for next year (yes, we hope to return again next fall) was the fact that so many little things were supplied with the rental such as coffee, sugar, tea, coffee filters, etc. This was a great weekend getaway! It felt like our home away from home!

“Amazing” It was perfect for my small family. My husband and kids played basketball 24/7. The owners really had a lot of personal touches and made the stay stress free. We enjoyed the cabin, hot tub, pond, canoe, gazebo, privacy!! I also appreciate the communication!! They made sure we received codes, where concerned when rain was forecast, willing to help with any detail. Already planning next trip!! Thank you for a great weekend!!

“The Great Escape” If you are looking for seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the city- this is the place. If you need up scale aminities, look elsewhere. By that I mean - you may experience the grill catching fire due to residue settled at the bottom from many cookouts before. You may need to adjust the knob on the toilet to flush it- but turn it back off because it will leak. Such small inconviences for what you really get. Priced great. The fishing was so much fun. Bass, bluegill and if you are Savvy enough, huge carp! They bite and will take you for a ride! Butterflies galore. Turkey in the morning and a whole herd of deer and fawns making their way to bed down at dusk. Crafty spiders along the pond. There is a nice hot tub- but we were so in love with the fishing- out of our 4 day stay, we never got to dip our toes! Short drive for anything you may need- such as Walmart, Kroger, gas . Fun things to do, such as old mans cave and horseback riding. I will be back and I will bring my whole family. It will accommodate at least 12 people as there is an extra guest house. Loved it. Just what the doctor ordered.

“Great place to stay!” We truly enjoyed staying here. Very nice home with lots of space for everyone. Love the open floor plan. Close to town and local attractions but very private. Huge porches, nice garage. Well appointed. Sauna is a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Hiawatha's Hideaway Rentals is great to work with - very professional and dependable. Look forward to our next stay!

“Excellent place to stay to get away!” My husband and I booked a short stay for our anniversary getaway. From the time we booked to the end of our stay, Carol was very helpful and available to answer any questions. We arrived later in the evening and everything was well lit for us. The house was clean and hot tub was ready! There was delivery options for food nearby, so not having to leave was another plus for us. We enjoyed the other amenities/activities this home had to offer, as well. The activities definitely kept us entertained. Staying here was a lovely way to shut the world off and get away from it all. “Comfortable and huge.” My wife and I recently stayed here. While we only needed a place for the two of us, we were really impressed with the spaciousness and layout of this condo. We are thinking about returning with a larger family group. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms are also roomy. Location is close to downtown, Port Clinton, Cedar Point, or the ferries to the islands. The view out over the country club is beautiful. We would strongly recommend this rental to anyone interested in staying in Marblehead.

“Best Kept Secret in Southwest Michigan-Heart of Wine Country” As a fairly well known celebrity, I was looking for privacy, seclusion and beauty. Away from it all but still close to many friends/family in Chicago. I have traveled to many places in my life and have been to Union Pier/Southwest Michigan a number of times in the past six years, but I have never expierienced an ambience so perfect that one has to experience it to believe it. No matter what I say, it will not do this wonderful property justice. I will try. Secluded and Private. The beautiful and quiet lake. The smell of the flowers and trees, the beautiful natural light, attention to detail, beautiful wood work, art, a beautiful kitchen with appliances and flatware, silverware, and glassware that are beautiful as much as they are functional, comfortable beds, a beautiful 3 season room overlooking the lake all create a very special environment. I dare to say that had it rained my entire stay, I would have been content to stay in the cottage and enjoy a property that the owner obviously holds dear. The property was clean, the amenities were beyond what one would find in a four or five star hotel, and all claims by the owner in the listing were accurate and truthful. The pictures accurately portrayed the layout and beauty of the cottage. I must say, I was as surprised to find that Sanctuaire is on a dead end in a quiet residential street with a wonderful neighborhood to stay and I found a number of excellent eating options although I must admit, I did cook one meal in the cottage due to the fact that there are wonderful market on Chemery Street. For those who like it, I found the French Restaurant an excellent choice. The Thai restaurant was also a great place to enjoy other ethnic cuisine. The cottage is conveninent and very close to Lake Michigan. And yes, it is minutes from the house. I hope to stay at the cottage again this fall. Thank you Mona. “A wonderful place for renewal” Olga and Pat's home in South Haven is exactly that..a haven of lovely peace and quiet, but with wonderful options nearby. Their home is decorated by Olga with her incredible sense of taste and practicality, fully stocked with every amenity that one could wish, plus super comfy beds. I love the reading nook adjacent to the master bedroom, a cozy spot on rainy days. Location is perfect; two short blocks to the lake and beaches; also close to town and nearby restaurants and markets. The property is exquisitely landscaped, with a backyard that offers a variety of activities. Olga and Pat are a down-to-earth couple, friendly and very accommodating. We absolutely loved Sabina's Sandcastle and hope to return soon.

“Beautiful, quiet, peaceful! Rejuvenating and happy place!” The owners are so helpful, sweet, prompt and hungry for input. We enjoyed our stay so much!!! We housed two married couples, three kids under 6 and some teenagers and it was tight but in a fun 'together' kind of a way. The beach is down a hefty flight of stairs but is so beautiful and secluded that it is no inconvenience to make the walk to the house and back. The kids were able to run free on the beach, waves were small but fun. The basement playroom was not small child material when we were there, however it looks like it has had an awesome makeover since then. HIGHLY Recommend this rental!!!
